We just adopted a Japanese Akita puppy and are picking him up in a week's time and are super excited. Yuki is beautiful Akita, and I was wondering what harness you are using for him here and if you can provide a website link of where to order it. It looks super sturdy and comfortable. Peter Blaha If you set up an exercise pen, provide him/her with ample space to play, give lots of food/toys, and make sure to give him a long walk in the morning, you can get by with a few hours. only a FEW. Most dog owners have to work where I live, including akita inu owners- and the dogs are the happiest they can be :)
Actually you can train Them to stay alone up to 6-7hrs. Training like this is very boring but my friend has a shiba and he goes out every morning 6am and comes back around 1 so he stays home and thats it

yeah I get it, and now she is living with me in an apartment, she is always being naughty, and a little bit timid when she is exploring new environment and treading new items, the thing most confused me is how to train her a right habit of enuresis，she is living in a exclusive room now but I don't want to let her do this thing casually.
