Hey I absolutely love your videos! I recently rescued a 2 yr old Akita who has food aggression. I was wondering what type of gloves you are using in the video. Id like some extra protection when working on food dish manners. Thank you so much.

Our boy used to be obvious when he'd seen food on the floor when out and about but due to his intelligence he's realised if he indictates then I know he's smelled something.
So now he'll pretend he's all nonchalant then suddenly dive on some discarded food.
We are on to this now though and are already ahead of the game and we spot it before he gets it.

Caught my Akita puppy eating small rubble yesterday. Scared the crap outta me when she threw it up but she’s ok now.

Xylitol is very common in sugar-free gum like Trident gum. Hide that sugar-free gum or get rid of it.

I wonder. You said Lactose is bad for Dogs but Starbucks has this Pupcup. They give you a small cup filled with whipped cream. You didn't explicitly say Akitas are Lactose intolerant. Are they? Or is it ok in moderation? Or maybe they use plant based cream.

Akita a lesson in practice and even handedness. Great dogs. Have had over 20years 2 males. Very aggressive towards dogs of same sex. Only pet in house. Many can be found on adoption sites. Lots of adults need homes. Got both that way. Best dogs.
