I turned the idle adjustment screw, not the air mixture screw. This will have no effect on air fuel ratio and simply holds the throttle open a little bit more at idle to reduce stalling.
Hi Chris, What is your experience with renting from Sri Lanka Tours? Did you send your driver's license and ID in advance or everything on the spot in negombo?
Hiya! I actually had a really good experience with them, I would recommend them highly. The tuktuk I received was spot on (though with it's quirks, which is to be expected) and the guy that owns the company was friendly and gave me lessons. I contacted them through WhatsApp from overseas, sent a picture of my UK licence, international driving permit, passport and confirmed the dates. When I arrived in Negumbo at the shop everything was in place and ready to go. It's a fantastic road trip/ adventure, you won't regret it! 😁 I have 2 other videos on my channel of Sri Lanka if you're looking for inspiration. All the best mate!

I wouldn't recommend messing up with the carburetor if it is tuned perfectly. Doing something like that would ruin your fuel economy.
