Rest up, heal up and come back for the real rock garden, the Grand Canyon. Our trails are a bit bumpy but the geology lessons are incomparable. Stay safe.
Don't even be thinking 😊 that you will be recouping all by yourselves. Keep us in the loop. We love video's of your regular life. Oh who am I kidding 😅 life is never regular.....everyday is an adventure! Remember keep those videos coming. Healing is very informative for us too!love & hugs from Oklahoma!

Love the way you blog, showing so much of the trail. I never knew Arizona could be so beautiful. Hope you both get feeling better soon. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for another wonderful adventure. You are doing the right thing in resting. I loved seeing the super bloom in the desert area. Would never see that in real time from the back woods. You sure overcame some unforeseen happenings this trip, the first time I've ever seen you sick in all these years. Rest up and then take us all on another adventure. Take care, be safe.
Ladies it has been a joy and honor watching your videos. I have been following your awesome adventures since you hiked the AT. Absolutely loved watching every step of the way to get here. Go take care of yourselves, heal your bodies and I will catch you on your next great journey. 😊
Great video!! Yes, take care of your health ladies, it is your wealth. Love the music and scenery and your smiling faces. I will be traveling Europe in October. Be blessed!
You guys are pausing this trail for all the right reasons. Dixie did the same. Glad you'll be back when the conditions are right. So fun that Mary Poppins got to join you again. Till next time, happy trails!
So glad you guys made it safely through to a good stopping point! Thanks so much for sharing! I like to watch your videos while training on the treadmill, when I can’t get outside! You are so inspiring! And I love your music! Heal well for your next adventure!

Sorry to hear you’ll be leaving our State but I’m glad you enjoyed your time here. We’ll be waiting on your return. If you would have hiked the Mazatzal Wilderness 10 years ago you would have found it covered in pines, it will be a while before that returns. Sorry about our rocks but we’re use to them. Looking forward to your future visits happy hiking.
Yowza❤ Thank you for sharing this adventure. Glad you’re going to do some self care 😊 Keep on keepin’ on WW! Thank you for the tribute to Queenbee93. That was especially kind ❤
Wow. Yal were real live super heros to get through all the obstacles thrown at you on this trail. It was beautiful. Tha k you so much for sharing it all. Glad your take time to heal up before the next journey begins. Cant wait to get to come along.
Great series. I love the AZ vistas, and such a fantastic time to be out there in AZ with the desert in bloom. We'll miss you at RAGBRAI this year though. Safe travels.
Thanks so much for continuing to do these vlogs. I know how much work goes into them I appreciate it so much. I am going to have extreme WW withdrawals.
That was a great series ladies. I loved all the flowers. The trail was so different when I saw Jay Woo hike it a couple years ago. I'm looking forward to your future adventures. Get well.
I've just loved watching this series and seeing a slower-paced hike - it seems a lot more fun and doable to me! I also love tea-time! It feels like I'm hanging out with new old friends 😀
My husband and I did R2R north to south,( one ☝️ day)it’s a lifetime hike. It’s not easy but very rewarding , challenging , and beautiful harder than we thought .
Thank you both so much for letting us all tag along on this amazing adventure. You guys send out such positive energy and always keep it real! Sending wishes for a relaxing recovery and then on to the next adventure 💕
what an amazing adventure and the super bloom too! I'm not likely to get there myself so I really like being able to see your videos. be safe and enjoy the adventure
Great seeing you all enjoy the parts of the trail you've done, sounds like the best decision to end for now and revisit it at a later date. Will watch for your next adventure , be safe ad have fun!
Always love your adventures. Agree arizona's rocks are something to be recond with.. we spend winters apache junction, with our horses. We claim a 10 mile day in az is harder than 18 to 20 mile in our home trails in washinton. And hiking most every day can be hard on the joints,,,,feet n legs.. but the super bloom was spectacular.. thanks for extending the desart beauty, for me, as we headed home a month ago❤.
Thank you both for tirelessly sharing your adventures. And posting in real time is a treat. You hit the desert bloom just at the right time. Rest and heal up for Europe. Sorry you are missing RAGBRAI. Was hoping to meet you there. There is always next year. Stay strong and journey well.🤗
Congratulations on navigating the rocks, when you come back the trail north of there should be kinder. Looking forward to following your European adventures. It was great meeting you, maybe I'll run into you on the AZT when you return!
I spent 10 days snowed in at Pine in February. Was “farm sitting” the lavender farm there while the family was in Mexico for a wedding. I absolutely loved my time there. Sweet little community. Glad you were able to make it your “pause”spot. Speedy healing. As always, your joy of our glorious outdoors is always inspiring. ❤
Thank you for sharing your adventures with us! I’m very please by all of your hard work and dedication on all of your amazing treks. Thankful to have you both sharing your adventure while I heal. One step closer to getting back out hiking longer miles. ❤ stay safe!
Thanks for bringing us along. I was planning on traveling out there this spring to see the flower bloom but wasnt able to. Got to see it via your videos instead!
Love how you ladies are always smiling! No matter what gets thrown your way - you are all smiles! Looks like another window to rest up and recharge! It was kind of nice seeing you in a bit of a slower pace and lots of campsite footage! Keep making memories & adventure on! ~Karen & Shannon WOY
Glad rest, recovery and redo’s are on the agenda. Hugs! Be well! Peace to QueenBee93 and her loved ones. ✨ Mary Poppins and your peeps are all awesome blossoms! Whoop Whoop!
Loved seeing you hike this part of the Arizona Trail. Can’t wait to see you finish this through the Grand Canyon. Would love you meet up with you sometime. Loved seeing the Super Bloom. You gals are such an inspiration to me.
Hey you two Your channel just popped up in my feed. It's a small world! Seems like just last week I was camping with you on the North Rim. Oh yes, it's because I was camping with you on the rim! This video helped me remember the huge AZT adventure we shared. I'm happy I got to share in your completion. Hike and wander on! Two Dog and Moosie
Hi, Two Dog. So glad we met and were able to spend some time with you and Moose. Congratulations on your completion. We are now back and enjoying beautiful Colorado.
You two are awesome! I love your videos ❤I enjoy your hikes, the commentary you provide and the feeling that I’m with you in the hike. Someday I would like to join you out there on the trail 😊
WaWo thanks for taking us along. The super bloom was great & timing good, perfect . you got to be there for that. 🌸🌺🌻🌵🌱Heal up for the next adventure .🥾🥾
I hope you feel well enough to do an out and back in the Grand Canyon. Trail is like a super highway compared to what you've been doing! Rest well and thanks for your great videos.
Oh my gosh, you two have had quite the hand full of challenges given to you on this trip, and you kept it all going. Such an inspiration to me as an aging hiker who has been struggling through some physical injuries recently. Must say that one of the thrills of watching your travels is that we see them in real time (for the most part :). We watch and see the date and say "Oh, look! That was just yesterday! " Looking forward to the next installment of the AZT whenever it arrives!
Glad to see a clip of pitching the tent. Here I thought it just pitched itself every night! Sorry the trip had to end, but will look forward to whatever comes next!
I had heard about the Canyon closure. Wondered if that would be the deciding factor. Even though you have had a rough time it helps people realize its not all a bed of roses. I have had times when the pain of an injury took my joy of the trail away and I decided to end a hike far sooner than I planned. It’s important to know that’s okay. Love you guys looking forward to your next adventures!
You guys are just so awesome. Honestly -- Thank you for sharing your adventures and inspiring us to be our best selves. This channel brings a lot of joy to people. You make our lives immeasurably richer -- well done! I'm not crying ... you're crying ...
Thank you so much your videos, hoping you are resting and enjoying a coffee or two😊 yesterday I bought my new tent MSR Hubba Hubba nx ready to walk the West Highland way in Scotland
I'm glad you almost got together w Mason. Sorry I'm not there! I'd have loved to see you again! ❤ (Yvette) You made it almost half way! Congratulations! Those photos of the flowering desert!? Wow!
Do you think you could do a video about the gear that you take on your backpacking trips? I am 62 and haven’t backpacked in 20 years. I would be interested in your sleeping system and footwear. I am sure that you have a lot of tips for senior backpackers (especially female). You are such seasoned backpackers that I am sure other people as well as myself could benefit from your expertise. Thank you for all your videos. They inspire me to get out and do more things. I hope that you rest up and I am looking forward to your next adventure.
I was wondering when you would get as far as you could go. I saw Dixie's video earlier this week, and she got a whole mile into the AZT when the North Rim closure was announced, so she decided to try again some other time. Wow, those rocks really did look like bones. Big ol' giant's bones! If it's not called the boneyard already, they should call it that! Congrats on getting as far as you could. The trail will be there next year. And hopefully not buried under snow and rock slides. Looking forward to your next adventure 😊❤
I read a few days ago that the trail from Cottonwood to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon is closed until June 2. It’s sad, but it’s amazing that you have experienced the super bloom. I’m looking forward to your next adventure. ✌🏼❤🎶
❤ love you two. I did the JMT in 2021 with my brother. (He's 69 and I'm 57) since then I've had back problems and foot surgery, but I see you two getting through all the little inconveniences to live your dreams. You inspire me every day to do the same.
Been hearing that others are cutting their AZT hikes short as well due to the closure. Bummer but sounds like it all worked out well, since you guys want to heal and rest up :) Thanks so much for taking me along with you guys thru your great filming! If you're going to be in CS for a while, who knows maybe I'll see ya'll on the trails in the area. Enjoy the time off!
