It's the easiest of all gearings I think.
It not hard, no need to split every gear. Think it like a 4 speed with a range selector.
48 year long haul driver here. You are driving better than many guys I know. But one thing I've never tried is driving in bare feet. It's better than driving with flip flops I guess.
