Everyone reacts differently, but I'd suggest trying a higher dose of mushrooms. At high enough doses, it can be like a dmt trip, although you probably won't have to go that far. Also, remember to state your intention before the trip, like "I am looking to break my addiction, and see the beauty of life without it". Basically, maybe try to slightly up the dosage by a gram or 2. Don't for get that it also builds tolerance for around 2 weeks though. I wish you the best and good luck :)

in a high-energy hyperbolic fractal way.
It WILL help and it WILL make it easier to access the "heaven realms" of consciousness
(which I believe are not external or "other dimensional" but rather,
latent potential configurations of the electromagnetic field of your brain,
which gives rise to blissful harmonious textures of experience).

      @nonfungiblemushroom 11 месяцев назад

@@Zeus-wl2pl this is objectively false. While DMT is very powerful and requires immense care and respect, to say *anyone* self administering is asking for trouble is ludicrous. It's a tool. A powerful tool, but a tool. And just like any tool, it can be either beneficial or detrimental depending who uses it. The issue isn't to further burden the medical industry most can't afford anyways, but to learn how we can properly heal ourselves. The middleman isn't necessary, education and regulation is. The most dangerous thing about DMT is its legality and potential to be contaminated or impure, not the effects it causes when used.

@jeffsilverberg7108the best source is to grow yourself.
Etsy has a lot of all in one mushroom growing kits, I buy from the Booming acres personally.
They don't include spores, but sporeworks is a reliable vendor for various strains (B+ is my favorite). Keep in mind buying spores is legal, but growing is highly illegal and sporeworks is intended for research so when you call them to verify your purchase don't mention growing.
It's super simple and a complete beginner can do it. I'm sorry you have problems with anxiety and stress, but I'd 100% recommend trying it. I know I've personally had almost a complete 180 on my depression and anxiety. They taste nasty though so be prepped for that lmao 😂😂 OJ helps a lot if you blend and chug though 😅
Have intention going in, write down what's bothering you, and just walk outside. Avoid areas of high stress and if you have a bad trip, let yourself have a bad trip. The "bad" ones often shed the most insight from my own personal experience. Don't drive, stay safe, and do your best to explore your own mind. Don't hold any preconceptions and just allow the mushrooms to guide you. If you want to go outside, go outside. If you want to cry, cry. Just don't drive and you'll be perfect!
Zamnesia has a good dosage calculator to help figure out how much you should take. 15g fresh is a low dose for me, but im a larger guy so I usually hang around the 30g area for an "average" trip. If you feel bold, id try the heros journey, it's a 50g+ trip (fresh, 5g dry). It feels like your brain is 100% reset afterwards and usually carries a ton of insight.

Maybe very irregular use but for me it's definitely not the answer. Just too much, I believe it's something that needs to be respected and used sparingly, but with guidance of a shaman or a doc who can help.

I was operated on while on DMT. Cosmic surgery. Orange light beings spoke telepathically. They told me to stop resisting. I did. Then I broke into a million pieces and was so free and liberated From the burden of this life I was carrying. I didn’t realize until I let go. Felt more real than earth. Like I been there countless times. I knew I had a body but it was not important.
The beings seemed to have my best interest and I had a feeling they were surprised I was there. Absolutely unbelievable experience.

I have to tell you a story. I had a hysterectomy back in 2007 and reconstructive surgery for severe pelvic organ prolapse that led to chronic pain and severe depression. I was on the biggest cocktail of medications you can imagine for 15 years. I've never done drugs but when I heard of the potential effects of DMT I decided I would give it a shot. I could never be more thankful. I went from not working and bedridden to moving across the country and building a house by hand, in a matter of 3 months. It gave me a whole new outlook on life. I am no longer on any medications at all although I could still do with some pain medication if it were still available. The CDC decided to basically get rid of that but mentally I couldn't be better. I had one set back when I lost my mom but I did manage to get past it without any help. I am a firm believer that everybody should try DMT at least once. It was a lifesaver for me.

One thing I can say about dmt is, I physically feel amazing during and after the high. It's almost like a full body tens unit. The vibration you feel leaves you feeling so relaxed and pain free. Very informative! I have been a proponent of psychedelics for 50 years, when I tried LSD, mescaline, and psilocybin mushrooms. My very first trip was on LSD, and awakened me to the very real spiritual and higher consciousness realms. I really longed for those experiences, was able to partake a few times in the ‘90s, and started ketamine sessions with Mindbloom a couple of years ago, and currently on a series after a year break. Have had numerous TBIs, traumatic events, subsequent PTSD, significant chronic pain for over 30 years. I am attempting to rewire my brain with a quality controlled dosing. After several sessions I find less triggering, revelations, memories, bubbling up, new interpretations, and decreases in pain.

I had tried DMT on several occasions weighing the product judiciously and slowly experiencing its fractal effects and colorful pulsations of bright colors until I threw caution to the wind. Went for it took three immense hits that instantly took me from one reality instantaneously into a complete white out experience (No tunnel no transitioning no aliens) where I was just a small voice crying for help lost in an ocean of unimaginably bright white light. It absolutely terrified me until three days later something internally made sense of it. That losing who I thought I always was showed its undeniable strength in how my reality was constructed. It wasn't the void as much as the loss of self. I am still in awe of the experience and quite affected by it. I would appreciate any feedback from anyone who may have had a similar experience.

I had a similar experience, I took breakthrough dose and sub-breakthrough almost daily for about a month one time too much, but where I went it was black all I could see was what looked like a white light wrapped in black spagetti blocking all the light except for tiny sections between the gaps as it moved allowing anything to be visible at all. That did not scare me, what put the fear of hell in me was that I didn't know who, what or where I was and I was there for what felt like an eternity until I started to come down and some fractals slowly came into vision and I remembered I smoked dmt, and instantly knew everything was ok😅

in a high-energy hyperbolic fractal way.
It WILL help and it WILL make it easier to access the "heaven realms" of consciousness
(which I believe are not external or "other dimensional" but rather,
latent potential configurations of the electromagnetic field of your brain,
which gives rise to blissful harmonious textures of experience).

My first experience with DMT was at a park and I smoked it sandwiched in weed, back in 2020.
I don’t remember everything, but I do remember first I started seeing everything look more kaleidoscopic, the grass, the trees, my skin. The grass began to look like an enormous metropolitan society for the insects. The blades of grass were like buildings. The bark on the tree was cut up like roads and highways and intersections. I closed my eyes and just saw geometric patterns moving. All of a sudden I was in a colorful room looking at the corner and each wall had these windows where the wall would open like a door and I could see out the window. Next thing I knew all the door-type windows on the wall were opening. I remembered I had my eyes closed so I opened them and saw the park. It felt like opening and closing my eyes was like popping in and out of different universes. At some point, I had my eyes open, and my entire vision was outlined and my vision outline was moving further away from me as if my vision was on a TV and I was moving further away from the TV. Everything in the real world was on the TV screen, and everything outside the TV screen was white. I moved back from the screen until I saw myself holding the screen. The moment I saw myself, I just knew I was god in that moment. At the same time I saw from both perspectives, me moving away from the screen and me holding the screen. I started to get pulled away from the screen and everything became white, it felt as though I were trying to pop through something. But something was holding me back from popping through, it was the glasses on my face, the watch on my wrist, the backpack on my back, the chain on my neck, the phone in my pocket, everything I felt physically was holding me back from popping through. I took all of these things off and put them in my backpack, I held onto my backpack strap with one hand and still couldn’t pop through because I wouldn’t let it go. I didn’t want to let go of all my possessions in a park where I didn’t know anyone. I had to make a choice. Let go and pop through and know what’s on the other side, or hold on to what I knew as reality and never know what was on the other side. I chose to let go. I let go of my backpack and let it sit in front of me. I still had my eyes closed, everything was white. Every second I was in that space got me closer to truth, oneness, purity, spirit, but at the same time became more uncomfortable the longer I went without knowing the status of my real life possessions. The longer I went in that space, the deeper I went into my spirit and the closer I became to being god. Sometime later, after coming back and going back a few times, I stopped coming back (aka opening my eyes to the real world), and I became true to myself without any external stuff. In that moment, I felt as though I was my spirit in its purest form and that my spirit was god. Everything was white around me, I saw everything from all angles with no restriction of physical head movement or eye direction, I saw everything and everything was just everything without anything. There was no time, no house, no family, no obligations, no culture, no society, I was in the purest form of what makes up all those things. Something that I can only describe as spirit and god, both of which are symbiotes in this context. Sometime later I came back to the real world and couldn’t go back to that space. Since then, my attitude towards life changed in so many ways and I began making choices I would’ve never made before. That experience really changed my life.

Wouldn't this inter-dimensional being that all DMT users see actually be their "self"? If the region related to "oneself" is increased in connectivity to the lower and higher level regions of the brain, perhaps the brain would begin to start processing and interpreting its self, or, its consciousness, in line with the visual cortex, instinctively using (human?) anatomy or the closest recognizable thing for portraying our "self" as a separate entity, since it would also be connected to the region associated with information and decision making? I feel it couldn't be more spot on. Visuals, Oneself, and Cognitive abilities all falling into the same plane? That's got to be a perfect explanation for visualizing an "inter-dimensional" being.
Now I'd really love to know if bipolar or schizophrenic people are more likely to see MORE THAN ONE inter-dimensional being in their trips, and if experiencing this helps them to manage it? Or if perhaps microdosing enables easier access or control of their various conscious selves by expanding that region to the rest of the brain?

Every injury is different, I don't want to give false hope. But my wife has had significant improvement from a Traumatic Brain Injury with psychedelics. She suffered constant headaches, dizziness, vertigo, and ringing in her right ear. We started with microdoaing shrooms first. She took .5 grams first, then 1 g, then 2 g, then 3.5 g, then smoked DMT lastly. Each was about a week apart, and one by one all of her symptoms vanished. Only the ringing in her right ear remains, though it has lessened. But even her ear clears up for the 8 minutes she is on DMT now. The pathways are temporarily healed, reformed, etc....IDK. But psychedelics have been nothing short of a miracle for us both. There are things at play here that science may never be able to explain.

It's very strange stuff!

Or maybe it just affects me differently to you. The first 3 times I was with others doing the same, they enjoyed the 15 mins just fine.
It took me 5 hard puffs on the vape to enter the realm, I saw the beginning but just have no recollection of what happened after. Even though I was in the middle of an LSD trip, after 45 minutes I became aware enough to look down and see I had completely drained the vape.
I know I had a good time, just my brain stops recording. I get the same with MDMA. It's kinda frustrating tbh.

Being someone who regularly uses psychedelics, DMT is by far my favorite one. LSD would be my second favorite. A lot of people think that these "get you high" but that is not true. With DMT, you don't really feel loopy or anything, you do feel it and sometimes I wouldn't say that it's a "high" it's a very profound state of awareness and you suddenly have the ability to think on such a deep level and understand complex things that you would normally never even begin to understand. LSD was my go to when I was younger. And I firmly believe that it is the reason I have certain traits nowadays. It has been a very beneficial aspect in my life and I am eternally grateful for it.

I used to have LSD as my favourite. Then I took 6 tabs and realised that DMT is a lot better for intense experiences. I remember peaking on 6 tabs and wishing I was on dmt instead but laughing about it and seeing it as a learning experience.
Acid gets very confusing at higher doses. I was walking all wobbly, I was off balance, I didn't know what I was thinking or feeling or what I wanted.
I think 0.5-4 tabs of acid is best for me. For higher experiences, I definitely prefer dmt. I never lose sight of anything of dmt. I just feel the most sober I've ever been.

What you see on DMT is what is in your subconscious rendered
in a high-energy hyperbolic fractal way.
It WILL help and it WILL make it easier to access the "heaven realms" of consciousness
(which I believe are not external or "other dimensional" but rather,
latent potential configurations of the electromagnetic field of your brain,
which gives rise to blissful harmonious textures of experience).

  • @johncurtis920
    @johncurtis920 11 месяцев назад +5

Based on this presentation's summary, and this is just my layman's impression, it appears that DMT does something of a reset to the hierarchical neural networks of the brain. It resets it to a, more or less, (new) baseline state. For lack of a better way to say it DMT reharmonizes the (neural) network architecture and topological structure of the brain.
And overall, from what's being scientifically determined to date, this baseline reset turns out to be a fundamental positive for the emergent self-referencing system such a structure develops. In other words, for the Self. This is an amazing discovery on any number of levels.
What needs to now happen, I would think, are to develop longitudinal studies to evaluate how this reset affects a person longer term, not just the aforementioned networks and their integration but to the emergent Self as well. Hell, we have examples already, don't we? We call them Shamans. Heh!
In any case Is the reset permanent, or long lasting? And if so, for how long? Referencing the idea of Shamanism it seems a more or less permanent one.
And oh, by the way, since DMT receptors and such are resident in other higher-level organisms, and not just in the primate line but in other higher-level animals as well, it would be interesting to see how DMT and the like might impact them, too.
    Just some thoughts.
    John~

    • @JacksonRiverYoga
      @JacksonRiverYoga 11 месяцев назад

From my experiences with DMT, it is exactly like a reset. It's effects can last forever depending on what a person does after their mystical experience. If it has been treated as a recreational experience, then the effects won't last very long at all. Set, setting, and intention have a lot to do with it as well. A good mindset is required for a better experience, calm, relaxed, at peace, etc. The setting should be a comfortable, familiar place, somewhere you feel safe with good energy. And it's best to set an intention for your trip, a goal. Maybe you want to work on anxiety and depression, maybe quitting smoking, maybe inner peace. You will be journeying deep into your subconscious, make a plan!
And these life changing mystical experiences are such a gift to the world, each one is a step in the right direction for humanity. I hate to see them go to waste. Our egos get blasted away and we have a chance to come out of these changed forever, but we need nurture these experiences afterwards. If you have time, maybe start a mediation practice, or take up Yoga. Both of those also deal with Mind, Body, Spirit connection. After getting blown to bits during a powerful trip, the ego will quickly try to start taking over again, keep it at bay with Self-Reflection, stay humble, help your fellow man whenever possible.
For a better understanding of what has happened to anyone who has experienced a powerful DMT trip I would always recommend The Yoga Sutras, The Bhagavad Gita, and The Upanishads. Chapter 11 in the Gita is particularly mind-blowing, lol.

Besides doing over 125 Ayahuasca trips containing DMT, i did about 6 times pure DMT. DMT is the strongest entheogen on the planet. It's like instant anesthesia, in a nanosecond being catapulted into the highest dimension possible, the dimension of the creator of everything. I cannot describe it in human words. The world of what humans tend to call 'god'. Flying through the universe, leaving the universe and entering the multiverse, leaving the multiverse, and entering a completey white sphere, like in the film 'Lucy', at the end. Where every DMT trip was completely different. I have the hope and the belief, at the moment in the future i will die, my brain will produce lots of DMT, and will catapult me into this dimension forever, without a body. All these DMT experiences showed me something like death, doesn't exist...

I see a lot of people commenting that they had an amazing experience with these psychedelic. For me my experience was the opposite. I had an extremely bad trip with mushrooms and weed. I was in very safe environment, but yet I got extreme anxiety and fear.
I never suffer for anxiety and fear. After only one of each of those trips NOW afterwards I'm get panic attack and extreme anxiety and fear.
People please! Be careful, especially if your mind is already healthy.

I do believe that my anxiety attacks and anxiety disorder/panic attacks started after I had my first bad trips on LSD and mescaline. I've tripped hundreds of times but 30 years ago having a horrible bad trip is definitely what caused this..I guess maybe it might take a different psychedelic to fix that mess. I've never done DMT And I'm very intrigued and interested in it but I am scared of having a bad trip.. maybe some day. I'm tired of popping pills for anxiety and now I'm more hooked on pills than anything I've ever done..

at some point they are going to rediscover that kundalini is endogenous DMT, and the shamanic and yogic traditions of chakra meditations maps on to the endocrine system, so that once properly trained, the DMT mediated kundalini flow of prajnaparamita wisdom energy can be used to access life saving information to confer survival advantage to the shaman's tribe, I am applying for my MacArthur foundation grant to complete my studies of this key but forgotten phenomenon

i vouch for the razor sponsor even though i have a basic 100 year old cheap brand, the concept works and is superior as to any subsequent razors that came after it it. it requires no shaving cream just warm water on your face enabling natural skin oils and works better without shaving cream or dove soap even. I had a manora blade shaver the past 5 years and wish i had it 20 years before .

Why do you think the ancient Greeks were so far ahead with how they deal with their drives. They spiritualised them in a healthy way. They were by far a healthier society then our own in a philosophical sense. The word psychedelic comes from Ancient Greece; it means ‘soul-manifesting’.

Ok as someone who has lived in psychotic states for long periods of time.
Yes i believe this research is worth it.
But i suspect that in the long term, that non pharmacological means are going to prove more helpful, or at the very least, much lower risk.
What i will believe this research will help us do however is discover new methods or new reasons as to why certain activities could help with things like long term processing.
I personally do not believe that the brain is unable to make certain connections without substances.
I know this is anecdotal but in my recovery i have had very clear glimpses of states that i only had previously in psychosis and mostly on marijuana.
I wonder if it is possible to have all this integration and stuff at an accelerated rate using substances. Because even at this point im not even done despite years and its been going in slowish steps.
But it just sounds so weird to me that i would go to a clinic for some weeks, come out of there having integrated as much of my past as i have in 5 years, and on top of that discovered who they are and where it is they want to go in life.
    It sounds, odd...
Usually its a sequence of real world encounters that lights a bulb of self reflective activity that integrates and then gets tested with following encounters.
Often after a number of these too i tend to need a break to not forget who i am which usually involves rest. The substance probably wouldnt care about this either.
So there would be a need for careful monitoring of some psychic tolerance.
In simple words like, how much can my understanding of myself change in a period of time, without feeling like i lost myself all over again.

    • @interdimensionalsailboat
      @interdimensionalsailboat 11 месяцев назад

      Oh also!
Essentially the "sensation" of integration often feels incredibly similar to the sensation i had when i came to believe things that perhaps are not neccesarily all that conducive to a healthy mind!
They often both felt like epiphanies, which well, is now sometimes unsettling.
A relaxed frame of mind at the time of occurence and stuff like doubt and the ability to hold off on taking a particular perspective as your own, even if it seems to come from within, are the healthy parts even in light of epiphanies usually.

The problem is big pharma being involved -
    Who pays the scientists 🤔..
DMT is an amazing experience but like you said, it’s like a dream and you forget most of it once it’s over .. 😢
What you think is logical, turns out, it isn’t 😉..

DMT, LSD and psilocybin containing mushroom are just amazing. I could remember several years ago, I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Was actually diagnosed with BPD. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. This is something that really need to be use globally to help people with related health challenges
