Leading with Glimmora and swapping Gogoat and Veluza for Chesnaught and Dragapult thank you Game Freak her team is much better now. Although I would’ve also swapped Avalugg for another Pokémon like Baxcaliber or something.
Well it's her fault. In the og battle she had a gogoat for some reason, 4 of her 6 pokemon had a psychic move, kingambit was the 5th pokemon she used so it didn't get the full buff from its ability, and her ace was glimmora which is a set up pokemon thus defeating the purpose of using it dead last
one aspect I dislike about battling in this game is that they tell you what pokemon is coming next, that gives the player the upper hand in every match, and it takes the fun out of it. I have to say Im loving the changes in Geeta’s team, specially that she now has a Pseudo Legendary, although I would have preferred Kommo O or Hisui Goodra for her instead, since Dragapult was Leon’s pseudo leyendary. However, I love Dragapult so I don’t mind! Instead of Chesnaught and Avallug I would have preffered Roaing Moon/Iron Valiant and Ceruledge/Armarogue depending on which version of the game you were playing.
She couldn’t have Kommo-o or Hisuian Goodra on her team because she didn’t go to The Land of Kitakami nor travel back in time to Hisui. They seemed to take logical approach of only giving the special coaches new additions to their rematch teams from places they have actually been to in this game.
They almost fixed her. Very close. Glimmora should have gotten a focus sash to ensure stealth rocks and ideally toxic spikes. Espathra should have gotten the speed boost ability. If you protect once its very hard to deal with this thing. Avalugg still sucks. No idea why they kept that. Kingambit should have gotten sucker punch. The 50/50 game at the end is so dangerous. Almost game freak. Almost.
This is still a SIGNIFICANT improvement, though. That counts for something. As for the remaining changes I'd make: - Glimmora: Light Screen -> Stealth Rock. Toxic Debris already gets you Toxic Spikes. Agree w/ Focus Sash. - Espathra: agree about Speed Boost. Lumina Crash -> Stored Power, and Shadow Ball -> Calm Mind. - Chesnaught: Leech Seed -> Grass STAB. It already gets healing from Drain Punch. - Avalugg: move set is fine, just give it Assault Vest. - Dragapult: make it a support set w/ Will-o-Wisp + Light Screen and U-Turn. - Kingambit: agree w/ Sucker Punch. Additionally, I think each pokémon should have a held item. However, apart from Focus Sash on Glimmora and Assault Vest on Avalugg, I don't have specific ideas.
Totally agree. For me glimmora should have. Focus sash. With reflect and light screen first set up. Let toxic spike 2 Times spread Espathra with speed boost. Let her use protect then calm mind. With sitrus berry Dragapult good . replace avalugg with ceruledge/armoruge Replace chestnaught with gholdengo
While Espathra's Speed Boost + Stored Power + Calm Mind aka Ubers build is outright insane and would have instantly made Geeta the series' toughest champion yet (even beyond Cynthia), let's remember that not everyone plays Pokemon competitively and more casual players would have too much of a hard time trying to deal with such a lethal threat that strikes fear even in Ubers. However, if S/V had a Challenge Mode like in B2/W2 (all the Unova references in Indigo Disk and Gamefreak still didn't bring back Challenge Mode), then yes, it would be absolutely mandatory for Geeta's Espathra have its fearsome Ubers build to provide more of, uh, a challenge to more experienced and seasoned players.
@@thelordoflulz Oh no an OU player. Espathra gets walled by any dark type. Espathra is strong but does not belong in UBERS. That is an absolute joke. But then again OU players have banned Gliscor to UBERS. Those people are genuinely clowns
Kingambit to me is Gheeta’s true ace, Glimmora as the lead is way better, Chesnaught & Dragapult not gonna lie those 2 did feel a bit random, id say replace Avvalug / Dragapult for Baxcalibur, Arboliva instead of Chesnaught, Espathara i guess is fine not my favorite but its cool. This would be my version of Gheeta’s main team (with possible rotations, in no particular order) 1. Kingambit (ace) 2. Baxcalibur 3. Arboliva 4. Palifin 5. Glimmora 6. Armorouge or Ceruledge (depending on the version) (Rotations) Garganacal, Espathara, Killawatroll, Houndstone, Tinkaton, Dondozo, Gholdengo, Annihlilape, Cetitan & The Paldea starter that has the type advantage to yours Meowscarada if you pick Quaxly, Skelidurge is you pick Sprigitito, or Quakaval if you pick Fuecoco
Yeah. I lose all respect for players who do that. If they were good at the game, they'd win fair and square. I can actually beat Volo without any items if I use Cresselia (who's insanely overpowered) to deal with his team and save 5 other Pokemon for Giratina.
All the Special Coaches have a story that is attached to how often you call them over. Their story ends after you call them over 3 times and they make a Trade with you (You can just give them anything) After you've made a trade a gold ring will appear around their portrait signifying their story is done- Completing enough stories will cause the Paldea Elite 4, Teachers, and eventually Geeta to become options to call in as special coaches. Also, battle them all at least once, they will reward you with something after your first win- Some give a REALLY good reward, and some give a REALLY bad reward.

@@requiemagent3014 You could still let your Glimmora be the highest levelled Pokemon and lead with it. Plus there are some people who use an offensive Glimmora, and for a good reason. Even Smogon recommends that yes, you can also use an all-out offensive Glimmora instead of the more commonly used and expected trap setter. And Geeta actually brought the offensive capability of Glimmora quite well. Just look at its moves: Tera Blast (Rock Type) Dazzling Gleam Sludge Wave Earth Power This is, by far, the most versatile movepool any NPC has ever used. Ghetsis' Hydreigon? Leon's G-Max Charizard? Naah! Geeta's Glimmora has the best coverage of any NPC Pokemon. With its movepool, this thing hits like 71% Pokemon super-effectively, which is absurd! And many people complain in this regard that her Glimmora is just too slow to use its 130 Sp Atk. Just give Geeta's team EVs and IVs too like Kieran's, and give it expert belt and many people would be scratching their heads as to why this thing outspeeds and oneshots so many things super-effectively. Base 86 speed is just on the brink to be made troublesome with EVs and IVs in a vanilla game. So to conclude her previous movepool on Glimmora was amazing, just replace Tera Blast with Power Gem, and she could still lead with this Glimmora and let it to be her highest levelled Pokemon, not Kingambit. Because no other Pokemon suits Geeta more than Glimmora.
Glimmora's like Red's Pikachu. It's Geeta's signature Pokemon but it comes out first. Kingambit is basically like Leon's anime Rillaboom. Everybody's preparing for Charizard, just like everybody prepares for Glimmora, so when Rillaboom and Kingambit show up, especially with the latter's Tera Typing, they can get caught off guard and torn apart.
It seems like Gamefreak themselves knew how much of a mistake Glimmora was for Gheeta’s Ace & made it her lead instead & made Kingambit her true ace, (Gheeta’s Kingambit while powered up by Supreme Overlord could honestly give Cynthia’s Garchomp a fun for its money)
Her team can finally prove to anyone that she is the true top champion than any champions from different Pokémon region with her fix team design Which means geeta's new improve team can surpass the almighty sinnoh champion Cynthia
@@railroader2431 Garchomp, Lucario, Milotic and Togekiss are equal to everything Geeta can throw at Cynthia, especially since BDSP actually gives Garchomp her Hidden Ability. Because the boss trainers were 'harder' they remember them more fondly, despite the fact that Pokemon was never ACTUALLY hard, just... time consuming. Red, Blue, and Yellow were only challenging because Psychic was actually broken in gen 1, Gold Silver and Crystal had the difficulty spike of Whitney (Which wasn't actually that bad if you knew she was coming and had a female Machop from the same freaking city) and the level curve was JAAAAANK. Ruby Sapphire and Emerald was where the level curve actually started to be workable and not super grind heavy, but still... pretty grindy. Leading with Glimmora and swapping Gogoat and Veluza for Chesnaught and Dragapult thank you Game Freak her team is much better now. Although I would’ve also swapped Avalugg for another Pokémon like Baxcaliber or something.
Agree, but Avalugg is fine if it's the ONLY issue
Almost all champions have one weaker mon anyway, this team is an actual menace now
Anyone else think Geeta is underrated
She always was underrated
More like overhated
@@jambon2730 fr
Well it's her fault. In the og battle she had a gogoat for some reason, 4 of her 6 pokemon had a psychic move, kingambit was the 5th pokemon she used so it didn't get the full buff from its ability, and her ace was glimmora which is a set up pokemon thus defeating the purpose of using it dead last
Not at all she's trash
Omg Im so glad they put her theme here!!!!! 😢
There is a rematch against all Team Star members, Nemo, Arven, Penny and DLC characters?
They don’t get new teams sadly.
Omg Geeta is actually a good trainer now
one aspect I dislike about battling in this game is that they tell you what pokemon is coming next, that gives the player the upper hand in every match, and it takes the fun out of it.
Instead of Chesnaught and Avallug I would have preffered
Roaing Moon/Iron Valiant and Ceruledge/Armarogue
depending on which version of the game you were playing.
She couldn’t have Kommo-o or Hisuian Goodra on her team because she didn’t go to The Land of Kitakami nor travel back in time to Hisui. They seemed to take logical approach of only giving the special coaches new additions to their rematch teams from places they have actually been to in this game.
@@pilot_aki then goldengo
Just don’t switch
Geeta should have had Hisuian Avalugg on her rematch team would have made things interesting
You let Krookodile die. It's a crime!
As for the remaining changes I'd make:
- Glimmora: Light Screen -> Stealth Rock.
I think they kept Avalugg for Trick Room teams. Her new ace Kingambit would benefit the Trick Room set up as well.
Totally agree.
For me glimmora should have. Focus sash. With reflect and light screen first set up. Let toxic spike 2 Times spread
Espathra with speed boost. Let her use protect then calm mind. With sitrus berry
Dragapult good
. replace avalugg with ceruledge/armoruge
Replace chestnaught with gholdengo
She had the setup
Kingambit to me is Gheeta’s true ace, Glimmora as the lead is way better, Chesnaught & Dragapult not gonna lie those 2 did feel a bit random, id say replace Avvalug / Dragapult for Baxcalibur, Arboliva instead of Chesnaught, Espathara i guess is fine not my favorite but its cool.
This would be my version of Gheeta’s main team (with possible rotations, in no particular order)
1. Kingambit (ace)
2. Baxcalibur
3. Arboliva
4. Palifin
5. Glimmora
6. Armorouge or Ceruledge (depending on the version)
(Rotations)
Garganacal, Espathara, Killawatroll, Houndstone, Tinkaton, Dondozo, Gholdengo, Annihlilape, Cetitan &
The Paldea starter that has the type advantage to yours Meowscarada if you pick Quaxly, Skelidurge is you pick Sprigitito, or Quakaval if you pick Fuecoco
How do you get access to this fight, I don’t even recognize that room with the lockers
do you have the dlc?
Have you purchase the dlc yet? You would not find this in the base game
The audio and the video were basically out of sync with each other, but other than that it seems okay.
Uses a max revive…
Immediate wimp
Yeah. I lose all respect for players who do that. If they were good at the game, they'd win fair and square. I can actually beat Volo without any items if I use Cresselia (who's insanely overpowered) to deal with his team and save 5 other Pokemon for Giratina.
Still has Avalugg.
Gotta play set style and no bag items for more of a challenge
We can get the glove let's goooooo
Please I can't find how to rematch her at blueberry academy I only have the gym leaders 😭
All the Special Coaches have a story that is attached to how often you call them over. Their story ends after you call them over 3 times and they make a Trade with you (You can just give them anything)
After you've made a trade a gold ring will appear around their portrait signifying their story is done- Completing enough stories will cause the Paldea Elite 4, Teachers, and eventually Geeta to become options to call in as special coaches.
Also, battle them all at least once, they will reward you with something after your first win- Some give a REALLY good reward, and some give a REALLY bad reward.
Dragapult on her team? Yoo wtf
The Kingambit turned into a flying type and I used a ground move.😢
I actually lost 2 Pokémon to it. 👏👏
I knew she had it in her!
I recently did a Cynthia playthrough of Scarlet and added some new Pokemon to her team
Paldea team
Spiritomb
Lucario
Garchomp
Arboliva
Braviary (Unova)
Eelektross
Kitakami
Spiritomb

Spiritomb
Lucario
Garchomp
Palafin
Baxcalibur
Braviary (Hisuian)
Epilogue

I still think that Geeta should have been given Baxcalibur regardless of Hassel having it Geeta is the Paldea Champion having Dragapult (awesome Pokemon by the way) the same Pseudo as Leon makes no sense
Leon is the worst Male champion and he is laughably weak
Fight without revive now! >:[
I don't care who Geeta teracrystallized, for me her star is Glimmora (Because Kingambit is the Giacomo)
How do I invite her?
It’s better now but still fire the idiot who put an avalugg on her team. What is their obsession with that ice block of a pokemon giving it a hisuian form 🙄
I liked it better when Glimmora was her ace...
Same...
Glimmora is literally designed as a trap setter. Which you always send out first. To set traps. Crazy right
@@requiemagent3014 You could still let your Glimmora be the highest levelled Pokemon and lead with it.
Plus there are some people who use an offensive Glimmora, and for a good reason. Even Smogon recommends that yes, you can also use an all-out offensive Glimmora instead of the more commonly used and expected trap setter.
And Geeta actually brought the offensive capability of Glimmora quite well. Just look at its moves:
Tera Blast (Rock Type)
Dazzling Gleam
Sludge Wave
Earth Power
This is, by far, the most versatile movepool any NPC has ever used.
She leads Glimmora now and puts Kingambit in the back. And has replaced some of her Pokemon. Happy now?
Cry me a river.
I think that was their plan🤔
To make Geeta unlikable and then change her team to make people like her❤
It seems like Gamefreak themselves knew how much of a mistake Glimmora was for Gheeta’s Ace & made it her lead instead & made Kingambit her true ace, (Gheeta’s Kingambit while powered up by Supreme Overlord could honestly give Cynthia’s Garchomp a fun for its money)
Thank god she replaced her Veluza and Gogoat. No offence but ain't no bloody champion should be using either of them.
Yo, they listened to the players?
Her team can finally prove to anyone that she is the true top champion than any champions from different Pokémon region with her fix team design Which means geeta's new improve team can surpass the almighty sinnoh champion Cynthia
she can try but nope. cynthia's team is way more threatening than her
Not really. And Cynthia is overhyped anyway.
Lmao no. Cynthia is super overhyped. Dragapult, Glimmora, Kingambit, and Espathra are all considerably stronger Pokemon than what Cynthia uses.
@@railroader2431 Garchomp, Lucario, Milotic and Togekiss are equal to everything Geeta can throw at Cynthia, especially since BDSP actually gives Garchomp her Hidden Ability. Spiritomb can also Sucker Punch Dragapult and Espathra and has enough bulk to tank a Dazzling Gleam from the latter and Roserade absorbs Glimmora's Toxic Debris. Cynthia would crush Geeta.
@@tomnorton4277 Spiritomb is pure setup fodder, one of the most passive leads out there if that's what she tries to lead. Glimmora with power herb and meteor beam is a nuke that can and will chunk whatever takes the hit. And once Spiritomb is dead, speed boost stored power Espathra has borderline free real estate.
Geeta's Pokemon are more than powerful enough to take Cynthia. And if all else fails, Kingambit is very well known for reverse-sweeping.
She’s still a push over
She's acceptable now, but not among the best. Red, Cynthia and Steven are way harder
Red's a superboss, so not a fair comparison. Cynthia, despite her status, never gave me much issue before BDSP, and Steven is actually really easy if you have a balanced team. If you have a good Grass/Fire/Water core, and its super easy to have that in Hoenn, Only his cradilly and Metagross are in anyway a threat and even then, Cradilly is super slow, Metagross ain't much better and have very exploitable weaknesses.
I never struggled with Steven? He was a pretty clean sweep for me and I played ORAS completely blind
@@pearlplayaa A lot of people who hate on the new games have nostalgia goggles on for the games before gen 6 because they were more grind heavy and thus 'harder.' Because the boss trainers were 'harder' they remember them more fondly, despite the fact that Pokemon was never ACTUALLY hard, just... time consuming. Diamond and Pearl had a horrible regional dex and that is what made it a bit challenging, and Platinum improved the dex but changed the gym order which made Fantina (5th in DP, 3rd in Pl) kinda scary, but still managable and Cynthia was the first champ since Blue to have a really balanced team. Still not hard, but harder than Lance, Steven and Wallace.
Honestly besides Avalugg, which I wish she replaced with Dondozo or something, this is a good team, I can’t complain
The original battle music is better
she is strong now
Cheater you healed
booooo using items
Another cheater who heals what a disappointment 😢
And all those filthy casuals complain about this, well how feels now that GF actually took your faulty narrative and made Ya'll look like fools Are!?😂
She's still easy bro
The only fools here is STILL gamefeak for not having Glimmora go first in the first place, and this is DLC only stuff so it doesn't change the main game at all.
Even then she still uses Avalugg for whatever the hell reason, and why the hell does she not have Sucker Punch on Kingambit? No held items either.
They tried, but still flubbered
She still is to easy. No perfect IV's, no EV training, no handheld items. Still a joke
I don't think casuals would care that Geeta was embarrassingly easy in the base game. That would be the more involved fans who care about the battling aspect of the game and weren't happy that the champion was weaker than the professor's son. I don't get where this sudden anger towards disliking Geeta came from because it seemed like common consensus that she sucked and needed worked on to be a more interesting champion...and its a good thing that Game Freak listened because that is how they will keep people buying their games.
Also...how are people fools for getting what they want? Were you high when you typed this?
...I think there is some punctuation and words missing from that...
Sloppy gameplay
Using Altaria, the shame of dragon Pokémon...
SHAME ON YOU!
