So, I’m never going to complain about adding a bit of “heavy metal” to promotional material. : )
The artwork looks fantastic. Appropriately vibrant & colorful; befitting the “Deck of Many Things”.
The picture of what looks like a modern-day kitchen has me VERY curious…is it simply an embellished D&D “session”?
Or is it a way to apply D&D mechanics in a modern-day setting…?
That said…not much here hints to the books actual contents.
I look forward to seeing such details as time goes by.

Stuff like this makes me excited for what a hot mess "onednd" will be. It's become such a half measure, 6th edition could've been cool and go with a half measure instead means everyone will likely just stick with 5e. What a waste of opportunity

@@finnmchugh99 it’s a hundred dollars two books that have nothing. Literally one of the feats are just flavor spellcasting focus and a waste of a feat slot. Sorry that I wanna call out Wizard’s lack of content.

So I watched the video. Yes, yes, pretty colours go flash flash. Nice shapes, cool art. Absolutely zero information on what I'm getting. It's like every book is worse than the last. We want subclasses, races, feats, and things things that make a campaign feel fresh. We get what? Character backgrounds, one or two spells and a card-focussed feat for USD100? Gimme a break.
Are you legitimately complaining that a CG trailer doesn’t have as much information as a 25 minute overview video they also put out
Trust me, even the feats suck in the book. One feat literally just says you can use playing cards as a spell casting focus…when you can already do that.
This is the Official Trailer, right? Isn't the point of a trailer to tease the content? This teases nothing. I have a shelf of physical 5E books, all of the DNDBeyond books and a Master Tier subscription. This isn't a brag, this is me explaining that I am the core audience for this product and I am not happy with what they are putting out. @@HmmBearGrr
Respectfully, this product is geared more toward Game Masters and thank God for that, because 5e does not give them the support they deserve.

Utterly uninformative. This could have been a much better ad without changes to the cool format.
Otherwise, it's useless to me other than seeing the art a few of the cards.
Didn't someone else release a deck ages ago? Why would this be better? Are the cards laminated? Is it a full deck as described in manuals?

Can't speak to much; but they have stated that the total number of cards in the Deck of Many Things has increased to 66 cards total.

Expansion to 66 cards is noteworthy and interesting. Autistic narrator, probably not the first. Maybe just the first with a diagnosis.
@@SWatson410 Ooh, interesting insight. I always thought of many famous dnd characters also being neurodivergent. For example, I felt that Ezmeralda has like ADHD and Mordenkainen has like Autism. But that’s like my personal head-canon. Anyways, there is a longer video previewing this new book and it mentions having a zodiac that you can use to predict your PCs’ successes and shortcomings during an adventure. Thought that could intrigue you though it’s fine if it doesn’t. Also, the videos mentions new monsters to throw at your players when they do deck of many things card pulls
