Atleast the ruler is spending the money (not hiding in foreign banks) to better the lives of it's citizens. Turkmenistan reminds of the Gulf Arab countries.
Very beautiful view! 😍 It's awesome to see someone else who is brave and crazy like me travel alone. My friends told me I'm crazy to travel alone and move from state to state by myself. Next stop Alaska. My first real Sagittarius adventure
What a good video! You got to show everything from the most known or "touristic", to the most real as that mall with a lot of people and the content of the tv channels. Loved it! Greetings from Mexico! 🙂
Or is it just a cover up for what they have destroyed in the 1948 earthquake? But since the tracks can be seen on Maps, they cannot do more, but build in the "same" style...
Ive heard people stay in during the day to avoid the heat. But the place still looks deserted at night. I want to see a video of what is REALLY going on in that city and why its so devoid of people.
I think it is a very beautiful country and I hope I can spend a month there and enjoy all this order, calm and cleanliness without a camera. I hope the visa will become easier.
Hello Jay, thanks for the interesting video! It was very funny that I understood pretty much all the writing in Turkmen as a Turkish person, though their accent is slightly different. I wanted to ask: Is it possible to travel the country on your own or you can only travel with a guide?
You can travel the country on your own if you get a transit visa and tell them the border crossing you’ll enter and exit. Otherwise, if you get a tourist visa then you have to go on a tour. The transit visa is harder to get, so I choose a tour since it was the easy option.
Looks like a nice place to visit... Ok, some weird laws, but as long as tourists are welcome to come enjoy the culture and live in peace, this is better than most places. No trash, no litter, no crime, well - nothing the tourists have to deal with when they are visiting.
Yes, correct. People might complain about the odd rules and at the end of the day, it’s a perfect country to visit as a tourist. Great food, new roads, new buildings, peaceful culture, and such an enjoyable place to visit. I would definitely return a second time.

Jay,,,,, what is the city's power source??? I heard they have a sort of Tessla inspired alternative energy production and the design of the bigger buildings is to actually produce that power,,, what do you think?? It looks so ultra modern and new there!!
These buildings aren't just for decoration. I've been spending alot of time checking this place out thru Google earth and you can see the sacred geometry in the landscaping through the timeline features. The golden ratio is everywhere in the designs. I'll be making my theory known in depth soon with a video on working on to post on my channel
