@@JaysWorldTravels It's not the mainland capital it's just a city that's regional capital or administrative district capital. It is the capital city from a regional aspect for Litroal NOT for the mainland and their's 4 other regional on the mainland commonly known as Rio Muni fwiw. It would be like calling Austin TX the mainland capital of the USA which would be 100% incorrect.

Australians main current emotional drive seems to be banning anything and everything that reminds themselves they're no longer prisoners. In all my travels the last 15 years, Australians as a culture are BY FAR the most depressed and utterly hopeless about the future of their country and of their identity out of the many cultures I've experienced. I don't mean that as a criticism or judgement, other places have their own problems!!! Arguably the problems I face in my own country are worse. I'm just saying it's sad to see. A lot of Australians I talked to there who haven't left the country don't seem to realize it. But as an outsider, you can just feel the vibe the moment you get off the plane and talk to anyone for more than a few minutes. But it's depression with a smile. It's really unsettling!!! 🙏 Take care of yourself over there and don't let your dreams die!!! There will be more rocks to climb and sights to see and people to learn about! ❤

I'm not American, but Americans have this issue also. Albeit to a much noticeably lessor extent than Australia. Possibly because of America's nationalist streak which is probably a negative trade-off 🤷‍♂️ but I'm just speculating. And Europe of course has a STRONG nationalist streak and Europe's problems are very different. Trade-offs. Not really sure which culture I think is healthier. I just know it's sad to see Australia losing its sense of identity and has so few dreams for itself that are inspiring and it's written all over everyone's faces - perhaps it's only losing one identity to make another? 🤞 but who's to say what that will be or if it will be a good thing either. Strange times.
