my Motherland Turkmenistan how I missed her. If the borders were open, then a lot of tourists would come to Turkmenistan and I would go on vacation there. This dumbass closed the borders, he is a real despot. We have a lot of beautiful and resort places. The ancient landmark of the city of Merv and the mausoleum of Sultan Sanjar, Melik Shah and Alp Arslan are the sultans of the Seljuk Empire, which are located in the city of Mary and this is my hometown. While watching your videos about Ashgabat, I felt such nostalgia for my native land. Thank you very much for your video.
Thanks for the comment. I had a good feeling when visiting your homeland. It was such a nice country to visit and I definitely want to visit other cities there.
Hello friend Turkmenistan is my motherland. I used to live 25 km from Ashgabat in town of Bezmein. I left Turkmenistan in 2004 moved to USA. Did they always have a "guide" with you guys, or were you able to travel to places on your own?
A lot of these light posts and buildings look straight our of Tesla's mind. I know you asked about gas, I have heard rumors of free energy there - did you hear anything about that?
Just found your channel - loving the videos - what was the feeling you got in Turkmenistan? Do you think all the buildings are what they say they are - the thing that strikes to me is they obviously spent a fortune on these buildings, such as the “ferris wheel”. Who spends that much on a ferris wheel that doesnt have a good view - idk some things seemed strange. What was your impression?
It was a very interesting feeling being in this country, but I liked it. I felt privileged to finally arrive there. everything was clean, they employed gardeners and I saw no homeless people. It felt like living in utopia. But this is the capital. The smaller towns were more normal and rustic. Altogether, I had a great time there. The malls had people in them. I liked how smoking in public was frowned upon, so if you wanted to smoke, you had to hide out of sight. I would definitely go back again for a longer visit.
First let me congratulate you for the length and breadth of the geographical area that you have covered...I mean 194 countries? How did you accomplish this and how long did it take you to fulfill this dream. For those who who understand these things, this is no mean fete. How did you make it to some countries e.g in west africa or even Somalia or Libya? 2. I cannot really understand why with all this travel achievements,...your subscription is only 7k. Surely why? On this accord I subscribe in respect of this great achievement. You could easily be the only one who has travelled to all countries in the world. Check with Guiness book of records....let me know if there are others...who I suspect will not be more than 5 people in the world. I suggest that one day you do a collabo with Iam Marwa to boost your subscription. He is a gentleman.
Thanks for the compliment. Yes, I visited 196 countries plus 28 territories. It took me 14 years. I accomplished it by never giving up on the goal. In West Africa, I traveled overland. I went to Somaliland rather than Somalia. I crossed from Tunisia overland to Libya. You’re right, my channel is low, but I don’t do any advertising. I’m also behind posting all my videos. I’m trying to catch up now. To be in the Guinness book, you have to have documentation for everything. I mostly traveled for fun and as a hobby. Now I just visit places I enjoyed.
Good eye. Yes, it's against the law when in public view. So you have to be in the countryside or behind a building, where nobody can see you. I also asked that question.
why are you so eager to take pictures of working women (cleaners mostly)? what is purpose of that? i understand that you might be surprised somehow but it is not good to take pictures of them while they are working. at least notify them or dont share at all
What a desolate place... Half a dozen camels and a couple of dogs! These "craters" or rather huge sinkholes are somehow similar to those found in Siberia which also resulted from the collapse of underground caverns and geologic formations!... Besides that no people and not much to see, taste or learn about! Eh! Nobody did cut the ears of those beautiful huge dogs! Those dogs are a local breed originally from Russia and Siberia! Everything was built yesterday and paid off by natural gas! Fortunately, with its eventual exhaustion, the desert will quickly reclaim those inhuman and tasteless white buildings and shining cities!
Nobody did cut the ears of those beautiful huge dogs - we are doing and our ancestors did because it has a purpose. if you don't know don't talk about or criticize. but i would agree with you some degree. if you wanna visit and there is not much out there, you can get a unique experience in other parts of the country however no one (vlogger) so far made it (or they dont upload on yt).

It wasn’t as strict as North Korea.
A lot of these light posts and buildings look straight our of Tesla's mind. I know you asked about gas, I have heard rumors of free energy there - did you hear anything about that?
No, I wasn’t asking about the free energy when I went there since I didn’t know about it, but if I return again, I’m going to inquire.

You vould make a heat steam generator vent outta the sight.. 1,000,000.watts of local power...just rotate water....

Beautiful city and architecture but unfortunately all white is not a good idea. A city in a dry Land wouldn't stand a test of time. Just my opinion.
We can see how it stands the rest of time after another 20 years.
