Titans can't thrive in a college area... Austin Columbus and OkC are huge college footballs cities.. so they should work... ummmm....what? Also states that don't need more football teams California,Texas, Florida, Ohio, and New York.
New York State only has one team, no matter where the Jets and Giants played in the past. Besides, outside of the Buffalo area and NYC area, there isn't an area in NYS that could support an NFL team, and Buffalo can't support a second team, so I think NYS is not getting another team.
@@MikeyKaos716 @kennystrawser3220 Right. The NFL is not gonna put a team in Albany or Rochester, or (insert an other NY town here). Other than Buffalo, the other cities and media markets in the state just aren't big enough, and Rochester is too close to Buffalo to justify it, anyway.
As a columbus native we don’t need an nfl team. We already have enough construction as it is. Almost everyone living here is either a browns, bengals, or steelers fans. It’s a perfect balance and throwing in a new team will just feel weird. Nobody here has ever wanted to have an nfl team. But we do want an NBA team.
This list is a bunch of garbage and TPS is as well. Nashville is a great city for football and us Titans fans are large, crazy and proud! Obviously no one at TPS has been to a game instead of hanging in their mom’s basement.
I pick these cities to have NFL teams; Hibbing Minnesota (Da-range), Rapid City South Dakota, Billings, Montana, Portland Oregon, Boise Idaho, Little Rock Arkansas, Salt Lake City Utah, Minot North Dakota, Ames, Iowa, just for starters to mix up and offer those future fans a base since they're not recognized.
Grew up in Hibbing, MN No way that area could sustain an NFL franchise even if you located it in Duluth. Besides, Minnesota can't sustain two NFL franchises. Possibly De Moines. Iowa has the Hawkeyes in Iowa City, however. Arkansas is college football country. Maybe Portland or Salt Lake City. Even those cities would be a stretch.
Salt lake is the only one on this possible as in portland thwir surrounded by 3 california market teams and up above them they have seattle seahawks. So logistically portland wont work
When I saw the city I'm from in the thumbnail, I already knew this video was BS. You do realize the Titans are getting a new stadium right? You never mention that in videos. Same for the Jags. No one gives a fuck about Vanderbilt. There are way more Vols fans around the state and UT is in Knoxville. Why is Columbus on the list? The Buckeyes are way too iconic so it doesn't need an NFL team. Have you ever been to Nashville? Apparently not since you ALWAYS miss the mark every time you talk about the Titans.
At least you do not suggest an expansion. 32 teams are really enough. But asking both NFL teams to move away from LA is just nuts. The Rams were there from 1946 to 1994 and returned after a 22-year "stopover" in St. Louis. The Chargers though still have more fans in San Diego than they (probably ever will) have in LA.
The fault in your list is that the Titans are getting a new Stadium and the Jaguars are renovating theirs. Only obvious "lose" from your list is the Panthers.
cant afford to move so the population drop in oakland those years death and now with regulation adv in medicine etc less death = population growth. absolute bad place hate the raidur bandwagoners coming to santa clara ngl #Goaway , #Giveallyourmoneytovegas :D
The other 31 owners would never allow David Tepper to move the Panthers out of Charlotte. Besides that, the city of Charlotte agreed to help fund renovations to BoA Stadium.
I live in Charlotte and it is far from an obvious loss. The city is growing and the corporate presence is here along with a prime stadium location. Charlotte is not unique that it will see less butts in the seats when the team sucks.
The Chargers belong in San Diego and never should have moved. Austin or San Antonio do deserve a team. As for moving the Titans out of Nashville, you’d have to be on meth to think that will ever happen. Or should. Insane.
st. louis also didn't deserve to lose their team...I get LA was too big to pass on....but now LA is oversaturated with NFL teams...meanwhile st. louis XFL games average almost 40,000 people... and toronto-hamilton (7,281,694)...is larger than San Antonio AND Austin combined....(San Antonio-Austin - 5,258,922) Canada loves NFL. Toronto hates CFL. CFL is not a real league. Toronto HATES Buffalo...like the cities are rivals...nobody cheers for Buffalo...there are more Cowboys fans in Toronto. Plus the NFL price gouged Toronto with $180 dollar average ticket prices....no American would pay that LOL Superbowl prices....to see the Bills in 2007 HAHAHAHA...obviously people were pissed...Toronto would cheer for a TORONTO team, or CANADIAN team...not a rival city LMFAO)
Here is one you DID MISSED: Nothing ever gets done in Washington. Least of all a stadium deal. It would be ideal to move the Commanders to St. Louis and give them a better name. At least they would be in a position to have a decent stadium and set them up for some respectibility.
No one does research on videos like this. - It's NEVER about who "deserves" a team when it comes to sports leagues. It's all about what's the best business decision. - Oakland is a dying, shrinking city. They're losing all their sports teams for a reason. If it ever gets better, again, it's going to take a couple *decades* before they're even looked at for expansion/relocation. - Nashville is literally building a new stadium right now. They broke ground in March. - If and when Texas gets a 3rd team, it's going to San Antonio, more than likely. That city packed a decrepit Alamodome for minor league teams. - Columbus has no real shot at anything other than _maybe_ an NBA team, and even that would be a reach. - You fail to mention that St. Louis lost about 4 NFL teams and only kept all 4 for relatively short periods of time. Rams for 20 years, Cardinals for 27, Gunners for 9 and All-stars for like a couple months. - There is no room in actual NYC for an NFL sized stadium, unless they tear buildings down to make room... and there's only so many buildings you can demolish (or be allowed to) in that city. It's unrealistic to think that anywhere else other than the New Jersey suburbs are suitable for the Jets and Giants. The only thing from this video I agree with is Jacksonville, but even they're building something for their stadium to keep them around. And the Chargers should be in San Diego. The Rams are the "Legacy Franchise" in L.A. . . . one is enough for them. But if they had to have a 2nd team, it should have been the Raiders.
While I'm at it, For years I've thought that if St. Louis ever gets a new team, that the St. Louis Archers would make a great name! By Archers, I mean the bow and arrow type. It, of course, also brings up the cities best landmark, The Gateway Arch.
Buffalo is building a new stadium without a roof to perpetuate the cartoon version of NFL football that we saw tonight played between the Bills and 49ers in a snowstorm.
Rams definitely have a big fanbase in Los Angeles, and. The market is so much more desirable in LA over St Louis. Glad the Rams returned back to their main city of LA.
You said it, there are already two teams in Ohio. Milwaukee football fans have no problems with their Wisconsin team being a couple hours of drive away.
Saying Nashville should lose the Titans while Columbus should get a team is idiotic. Absolutely nobody in Columbus is ditching the Brown, Bengals or Steelers for a random team.
I agree BAD city choice. But obviously people in Columbus, the largest city in Ohio would cheer for THEIR NFL TEAM...not the Browns or Bengals lol It is still a bad choice. But that's not how cities work...people cheer for the HOME TEAM haha
I’m glad this is just your stinking opinion. I’ve been a Chargers fan since 1972. It broke my heart when they left San Diego but if they left the state that would piss me off even more. Damn you.
They need to do more west teams.. Oregon could have an nfl.. or Utah.. chargers need to go back to San Diego.. St. Louis was a good area. Could do Nebraska..
100% Portland could support an NFL team.... it's weird Portland doesn't even have an NHL team... like...Austin should have NFL and Portland should have NHL...it's weird....Seattle still doesn't have an NBA team....but MEMPHIS does? Dumb. Toronto does't have an NFL team...but Buffalo does...BUFFALO? WILD.
About an hour and a half East of Oklahoma City is where you can put a franchise: NW Arkansas. Have you been there recently (of course you haven’t)? There is WalMart Headquarters which possesses the region, so much space, a brand new International Airport, a growing number of retirees, and a million people there now with nothing to do. Razorbacks sports are not the powerhouse they used to be, and the only other sports option is a Royals minor league team.
I love how TPS always says "Poor St. Louis lost the Rams" They took the Rams away from LA after they were in SoCal for almost 50 years in the first place!!! That caused a whole generation of people like me who were born in the 90s in LA to either not watch the NFL or bandwagon onto the Cowboys, Packers, 49ers, Patriots or Chiefs or some other random team (Cuz thr Raiders went back to Oakland basically at the same time). LA is also a massive city that lots of people relocate to. Hence why the opposing teams fans always show up in masses
Portland, Oregon deserves a team. They were about to be awarded a team (that became the Seahawks with the Kingdome) back in the day. Think about it . Built in rivalry with Seattle and Frisco. Build a Dome in the Delta Park area and draw from a larger region.
Tennessee actually has a booming economy though and he has good management and is able to support a football team that way for Oakland. I’m not so sure.
Toronto Ontario deserves a NFL team. The population is 2.8 million and the metro population is 6.2 million. The Golden Horseshoe ( Niagara Falls to Toronto) population is 7.7 million at its core and just over 9 million in its greater area. Most of the Buffalo Bills home games are from Ontario Canada. At one time there was talk of moving the Bills from Buffalo to Toronto.
This region of the country has a lot of college football, so they don't need an NFL franchise, while this part of the country also has a lot of college football so they definitely need an NFL franchise! 🙄🙄🙄
It is the typical bias against the South. Even though the South is the only region that is booming, and even though the South has 35% of the nation's population, far more than any other region, these types want to claim the South needs fewer teams, when the South is already too short of teams in all major league sports. Meanwhile, up in the Midwest, any middle sized city, such as Cleveland, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Indianapolis has teams. In baseball it is especially pronounced with the Midwest having 9 MLB teams amongst a combined 68 million Midwest population, while the South only has five MLB teams, but only one outside of Texas or Florida, yet the region has 134 million people. When you look at fan support, even in hockey, southern markets do better in attendance than any other region. What is crazy is that he wants to remove Carolina when Charlotte has 3 million people and will probably have 4 million by 2040, yet Pittsburgh has 2.2 million, KC has 2.2 million, Cincinnati has 3.3 million. Columbus has 2.2 million. He wants to give Ohio a third team and remove the only North Carolina team when in ten years North Carolina will have a larger population than Ohio.
Oakland has blown it and lost their team twice now. Since they have not demonstrated a willingness to financially support a team, they do NOT deserve another. Same for St. Louis, they've failed twice now too.
I get that New Jersey isn’t the best place for an nfl team’s home but tell me where would you put a stadium? There’s no other place in or near nyc, every space is filled with housing

Oakland is a complete shit hole that shouldn't have any team. The Chargers need to go back to SD or get out of CA. And screw OKC, bring a team to Tulsa.
Personally - I don't have a problem with the Giants & Jets in East Rutherford New Jersey. It's right across the river of Manhattan with a great view of the New York Skyline. It's an area that packs the sell out crowds and has a world class mall across the highway, Tons of luxury Hotels near the area and a short drive to the Airports. The Giants have tons of fans in the Garden State as well as the Big Apple. The Jets have growing fans in the Jersey area and a ton of fans in New York. From that area - Both teams get the support of 2 cities. That makes it good for business. You may not like the location, But Face the Facts - It Works. 🤑🤑

The Rams were in LA for nearly 50 years before they were ripped from LA and moved to St. Louis. Kronke just moved them back to where they belong. Anyone that says otherwise needs to check the history of the Rams. And it's only because of the fact that they were ripped out of LA for 2 decades that they lost their LA fan base...🙄🙄🙄🙄
Ok well if we’re doing that then they should be in Cleveland cause that’s where they started
Cleveland has the Browns, Howard. That's enough for any group of fans. The stupid thing is saying St. Louis should have a franchise. Twice they've had NFL teams, twice they've left for greener pastures. St. Louis is a baseball town, always has been, always will be.

I think San Diego deserves a team. Chargers should honestly leave LA.
San Antonio, Texas hands down needs a NFL team. We already hosted the NO Saints after hurricane Katrina
The bengals might move to Columbus in 2026.
Oakland does not need a franchise. For that matter California does not need another franchise.
This list is a bunch of garbage and TPS is as well. Nashville is a great city for football and us Titans fans are large, crazy and proud! Obviously no one at TPS has been to a game instead of hanging in their mom’s basement.
Please do 5 cities that deserve a MLB franchise. And 5 that should lose theirs?
So logistically portland wont work
Oakland doesn't deserve an NFL team, or any professional team, until it cleans itself up.
Agreed
Imagine the Houston Texans moving to Austin and calling themselves the "Austin Texans" That actually has a nice ring to it.
Laughable. Why would the Texans leave the 4th biggest city in the US with a football tradition for Austin. The NFL isnt gonna leave Houston again.
@@TexasLegend101 I'm not saying they would, Just that the name has a nice ring to it.
The fact is as long as Roger Goodell is the NFL commissioner I highly doubt any NFL teams will relocate or will get a new team
There more of a chance that the jags move the the panthers
I live in Charlotte and it is far from an obvious loss. The city is growing and the corporate presence is here along with a prime stadium location. Charlotte is not unique that it will see less butts in the seats when the team sucks.
The Chargers belong in San Diego and never should have moved. Austin or San Antonio do deserve a team. As for moving the Titans out of Nashville, you’d have to be on meth to think that will ever happen. Or should. Insane.
st. louis also didn't deserve to lose their team...I get LA was too big to pass on....but now LA is oversaturated with NFL teams...meanwhile st. louis XFL games average almost 40,000 people...
and toronto-hamilton (7,281,694)...is larger than San Antonio AND Austin combined....(San Antonio-Austin - 5,258,922)
Canada loves NFL.
Or, ya know, just move the Rams back to St. Louis from LA...
Birmingham, Alabama the home of the Stallions 3 time spring football champions
As an L.A. resident, we should lose the chargers only. I am obviously a Rams guy.
What would you nickname a team from Austin, okc, or Columbus?
OKC should go back to the name and logo from when Tulsa had a USFL team, The Oklahoma Outlaws!
For Columbus, I would go with Knights.
Maybe Austin could buy the rights to the Oilers' name, logo, and colors. The Austin Oilers
While I'm at it, For years I've thought that if St. Louis ever gets a new team, that the St. Louis Archers would make a great name! By Archers, I mean the bow and arrow type. It, of course, also brings up the cities best landmark, The Gateway Arch.
Or the Houston Texans could move to Boston and rebrand as the oilers.
Buffalo is building a new stadium without a roof to perpetuate the cartoon version of NFL football that we saw tonight played between the Bills and 49ers in a snowstorm.
Video idea: NFL Players who would’ve been good if not for injuries
Says Titans should move. But only shows Houston Oiler photos
The city of San Francisco should have an NFL stadium
San Francisco is a wasteland of homeless and criminals
The Oilers should never have left Houston.
Saying Nashville should lose the Titans while Columbus should get a team is idiotic. Absolutely nobody in Columbus is ditching the Brown, Bengals or Steelers for a random team.
I agree BAD city choice.
But obviously people in Columbus, the largest city in Ohio would cheer for THEIR NFL TEAM...not the Browns or Bengals lol
It is still a bad choice.
"Nashville shouldn't have an NFL team because SEC!"

"Columbus should have an NFL team because big city!"
The entire state of Alabama needs a NFL team. There’s more than enough population to support it.
Except people in Alabama are poor
I love how TPS always says "Poor St. Louis lost the Rams" They took the Rams away from LA after they were in SoCal for almost 50 years in the first place!!! That caused a whole generation of people like me who were born in the 90s in LA to either not watch the NFL or bandwagon onto the Cowboys, Packers, 49ers, Patriots or Chiefs or some other random team (Cuz thr Raiders went back to Oakland basically at the same time). The BattleHawks. (Kaw kaw is the law!)
If any city deserves an NFL Team, It's St. Louis.

The NJ /NYC suburbs are fine. Most NYC employment actually commutes from New Jersey. It's not the location, but Meet Death Stadium. NYC deserves what the Bears are going to get.
The issue is which cities have money and interest in football. Those with money will build a suitable stadium and have fans with disposable income. Cities in California, or Saint Louis, don’t have a financial base.
