Hard to believe this film is 2 years older than me. One of my favorite Christmas films of all time.❤
This movie is really something. It was a low budget tv movie back then but it is so good and has held up very well. Really puts you in the christmas spirit.
I was 10 when this came out, now I’m 48, I gotta watch this with my kids.
I grew up watching many Christmas specials back in the day from the mid-60s from when I can first remember watching anything until even now. This one will always be my favorite and I've watched it almost every year since the most especially when it became available through the internet!!
I watched this as a kid, one of my favs. It felt so magical
I loved this movie as a kid, and I still think it holds its own by todays standards too. Very magical!

My favorite Christmas movie all time
01:32:14 That flying sleigh is really magical at the end. Not only does he fly over them close enough to talk to them, from left to right, and not only does he fly the exact same stretch over and over again, but everybody on the ground just focuses on one place in the sky. Real magic.
This is a wonderful movie about Christmas at the North Pole. Art Carney is a really great Santa Claus. Jaclyn Smith Is among the very strongest cases for Human Cloning on the planet and has been on my Christmas list for decades. That said, In November, December and January there is no sun whatsoever at The North Pole. They are the land of the winter Darkness, The Land of the summer light. They do not have light and dark 24 hour days at the top of the world. They must have filmed this in Minnesota or something.

I am going to Barrow, Alaska or now known as Utqiaġvik, Alaska this coming July 2023, and I was wondering if any of you users had any idea or know anybody who has any idea of the exact addresses of each location used in the movie? Such as the Baldwin Household, Michael's ATCO Oil Drilling Office, Sam & Lee's Restaurant, the School the kids attend, the Church Hedda attends on Christmas Eve Night, Santa's Workshop, Santa and Martha Claus' House, The Candy Cane Phone Booth that Claudia attempts to call Michael on before the bad connection, the dynamiting snow mound sites, amongst other properties in the movie?
