RIP Naomi Judd!
Leaving her seemingly glamorous Hollywood life on hold, Evie Lee is forced to return to her small hometown of Balsam Falls, Tennessee and her family's once-thriving Christmas tree farm to attend her father's unexpected funeral. As the eldest sibling, she finds herself executor of an estate that owes a massive inheritance tax, much to her younger brother's dismay. Torn between pursuing her music career and saving her family's legacy, she must decide what it really means to find her place in the world. I got really attracted to this movie when the mystery of the husbands incredible strength and the bruises on evies arm was introduced. The backstory to many characters was so fulfilling.wonderful movie

Yea, I knew I had seen him before! He's handsome. Then, I saw his name at the end. Of course! John Ritter's son ... he had a really funny half hour sit-com some years back. It was really good but only lasted like one season. So nice to see him again.

Truly amazing incredible movie between the writing of the plot and the directors and the excellent cast (A+), not to mention an excellent storyline with realistic Life /Death issues❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️🌈
I saw this movie years back, but I didn’t remember it just sections of the movie when it got to it I think like déjà vu but I couldn’t put the whole movie together until the end and I knew that I had seen it before. Was nice to see Naomi Judd in a “Non-Singing” role... I giggled when she had to sneak out of the house and run details the others if there was an inspector in the house, and I couldn’t really tell if she had shoes on or not, but many people raised on farms, and in the country, often went bare- footed!! it truly was hard to tell if she was barefooted, but the way she tried to walk/run, and she did a great acting job. If the train wasn’t uneven… She had me believing she was barefooted as she rushed to get to those treat areas where they were Spraying for moths. I will put this on my library favorite list and I definitely will you share it with my family and friends as well. Thank you for giving me an excellent movie to watch tonight.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
