Hi man I have a question about your yoshino cherry trees.. do you know if they are regular yoshino’s or akebono’s cause I noticed the blooms are pretty pink, are they like that in person? Also when you planted them in 2018 how tall were they and how tall are they now? Thanks
Honestly, not sure if they are akebono's or not. The tag said "Yoshino's" so that's all I know. The blooms are light pink. But very pretty. They don't last but a week or two tho, which is a bummer. When I planted them in 2018 they were about 7 ft. Now, one is about 15 ft and the runt that I had to save is about 10ft. My power lines are about 25 ft high and I planted it right under it. They say they get 20 ft at 6-10 years and 35 ft at 16-30 years. So in a few years I may have to do some pruning.
