I just bought one of these pistols and I really like the trigger which is very similar to H&Ks LEM trigger system. Plus I've always preferred the paddle mag release on Walthers. I got mine off Gun Broker for 350 beans but have seen many sell for around 400 beans.
Dude, you hit the nail on the head regarding that ledge under the mag release buttons. What a royal pia. I have been tempted to take a file to it, but don't want to bugger up the gun. Other than that, I love the gun. Fun to shoot and good training for trigger control. Just wish the ammo was a tad bit cheaper.
If folks are recoil sensitive the WMP is a great pistol. However, the frame on the "beavertail" is quite "sharp" . On some folks, after a number of rounds I rubs your knuckle pretty raw. I would recommend folks handle the WMP before purchasing to see if if fits your hand.
I fell in love with the hun andand went to check it out at my local gun shop because it looks huge and I’ve got smaller hands "but actually it isn’t that bad very ergonomically fine for people without big hands.
Looks like a nice pistol, how expensive are they? Honestly I think a lot of people truly underestimate what a 22 or 22 magnum can do I use to work in a slaughterhouse and I have seen them put down a nearly 2000 pound bull up close. I've heard so many people talk crap about the round and I'll ask them if they would to volunteer to get shot by one and they change their perspective pretty fast lol
I bought the Taurus TX22 Competition. Jammomatic. Tried all the fixes others spoke of and nada. Off to Taurus it went. Very frustrating. Been looking at the 22 Magnum options.
Hey man, hope all is well. Think you could do a comparison of S&W M&P 22 mag vs the WMP? There is yet to be a comparison on you tube. Which blows my mind. I'm trying to decide between the two and can't muster up enough info. Seems as though there may be some reliability issues with M&P, but i've seen conflicting info. Also there seems to be issues with the WMP when it has an optic. Curious how the two stack up.
We will take it into consideration but due to the lack of popularity, we most likely will not due to the time effort and money which goes into our reviews wouldn’t be worth it. We will definitely consider it though!
Don't do it! They have a well known jamming issue. It is after every single shot. Either the cartridge doesn't expel or the bullet doesn't load properly. The magazine that comes with it is VERY sloppy. I assume that's the problem. The other issue is trying to get a refund under their 30 day money back guarantee. I'm fighting that battle now. STAY AWAY
Sure thing, the guy making gun reviews which no doubt encourages gun buying and furthers gun ownership sounds like a liberal who blames the gun. You win the award for the most ignorant comment of the week! 🎉
@@HuntFishShootChannel then why opt for less rounds in a gun that big, mind you it looks comfortable, but me,in my humble opinion believe that a gun that big should have 20 to 30 rounds.Like the kel-tec 22lr cp33.

Great deal! It’s got a fantastic trigger and especially for a rimfire pistol

For sure! Great pistol for shooting and the caliber is a good one!

Ya, but the trigger reset is fairly long. I just got one. Still a good fun
Nice pistol, I could really like this in 9mm , however a .22 can be a handy round.
For sure! For Walther, the PDP is a hell of a pistol in 9mm!
@@HuntFishShootChannel its great. i have a pdp pro
Excellent review!
Thank you!

No doubt! It’s a viable option for sure but they are around 500 or less!
@@HuntFishShootChanneldo you mean they are under 500 Jules?
? No 500 or less for price
@@HuntFishShootChannel oh ok 👌
I just got one at Dunhams sports on sale for $385 out the door, and it came with a free pair of Leupold payload range glasses
Half the rounds of SW 22 Magnum. I have the Walther 40 cal…going with S&W for 22 mag
Great choice as well!

That would be very annoying! This thing is awesome and highly recommend it!
You can use Glock 42/43 tritium sights on it as well…. Food for thought.
Thanks for sharing !

They have a great 45acp
for sure
Great tree stand sidearm while deer hunting.
Yes it definitely could be!
take a dremel bit to those "bumps" that interfere at the bottom of the button.
No thanks
Walter's Awesome
Yes they are!
Give the S&W 22 magnum a try
Saw that! They came out with that right after we filmed this one!
Shot it, it was okay. Walter definitely feels better in the hand and shoots smoother, just my opinion though
Is it possible to use 22lr bullets on it?
No you cannot
So many people crying about the trigger 🤦♂️ it seems crisp
It’s a really good trigger! One of the best out there
It's super light, but feels right for the gun. Very fun to shoot.

Not enough rounds for a gun that big.
That’s subjective and it has to be single stack. It seems like enough to me, thank you for sharing your input though!
@@HuntFishShootChannel if you say so, but you sound like one of those liberals that blames the gun in stead of the human being that used it.
