Hello If you cross the base and rod sides and run it (as I did....) will the jam be permanent, or will it work once you uncross the lines? I will not know for a bit since I unfortunately damaged once of my supply lines and cannot retest it yet... Base on the supply line issue I am thinking the jam may be permanent ....
@@summithydraulics Thank you, To all who read this; once I connected everything properly the diverter was just fine and everything works great. It's a tough dependable diverter that is working well. Jim
Hello Todd, You can use one of our 13 GPM Universal Diverter Valve Kits for your Ford 2120. summit-hydraulics.com/product-category/hydraulic-kits/hydraulic-diverter-valves/hydraulic-diverter-valve-kits-with-without-couplers/
Hi there. I bought one of these valves. I cannot find any information on the small L port located at the bottom side of the valve. Is this a return to tank drain line? When is it required to have this line connected to the return line to tank in an open system? I purchase a suitable plug to block the L port or is it better to connect it to the return line. A very quality valve. Thanks Dave
Thanks for that. I noticed one of the metal plugs was removed from the small drain port and had a red plastic bung in its place, similar to the A,B,C,D ports only smaller in size so I wrongly assumed that this was a return line. Cheers@@summithydraulics
I see on the website you have several different options with different flow rates. How do I know what I need? I have a Bobcat CT2025. Plan would be to run an add a grapple. Plus it seems like everything you have is on sale right now.
How exactly does that work? If you connect it as you described, The other curl cylinder is still connected and will want to move when you operate the joy stick. The cylinder connected to the valve will be effectively closed with no relief. Sounds like a great way to twist the SSQA plate.
The other tilt cylinder has a Tee fitting going to it as well so hooking up our diverter valve won't interfere with the functionality as along as the lines are hooked up right.
@@summithydraulics That wasn't my point. The fact that it has a T is my point. When you activate the solenoid to divert the function to one of the cylinders, the other is still in the circuit. When you operate the added function, it will also be still putting hydraulic pressure to the other cylinder. In the case of a grapple attached to the third function, that cylinder will be trying to curl/uncurl at the same time as you are closing the grapple. The cylinder you diverted from will be locked in place as the valve has the oil flow off.
I just used mine for the first time and it seems to be stuck on the 3rd function. I pushed the button on the joystick and the grapple is working fine, but the red led light stays on and i lost my curl function. I have pushed the button as well as held it in, but it won't revert back to the curl function.
We recommend rechecking all lines connected to the valve. If lines aren't configured right then it could cause fluid not to divert right through the valve. If you have any more trouble shooting questions about your valve, please contact us at contact@summit-hydraulics.com
@@summithydraulics I would like to see still shots inserted at the end of the video with the mount/diverter mounted on a few machines. Like the tractor in your video, the mount doesn’t fit mine either so I’m making a bracket to mount it.
Great video! You make a great product. I just purchased some components from your website and it couldn't have been a better experience.
Glad to hear that! Thank you so much for your business and have a great day.

Do they make a universal divert value for 1994 Ford tractor 2120 series

As sum
mit has many different diverters, could you let me know what model diverter you are talking about in this video?
The valve in the video is a DV50-08S

There isn't a specified L port on the diverter. There are small drain ports that come plugged with the valve.

Hello, we have a complete kit for that model.

Does the diverter valve have to be mounted with the coil pointing up or can it be mounted in any position? Enjoyed the video.
You can mount it in any position.

@@summithydraulics my point is, you need to intercept the line before both cylinders

nope...got it figured out. Just the contactor in the joystick. I'll be calling for a replacement.
Would be nice to see one mounted. Holding it up to the tractor and saying it doesn’t work on this one is pretty useless information.
Hello, thank you for the feedback. Please let us know if you have any specific questions about mounting, and we'd be happy to help.
