How did you get the joystick knob off? I've been cranking on it and can't get it off, don't want to break anything. Thanks
Outstanding!
While the video is quite informative,, more attention to detail is needed. From the User's perspective, alignment of Top and Bottom insertion of the valve parts is not clear. We should be able to see the P1-P2 and C-D ports so we can determine the correct placement of the stem and solenoid. The company label appears to be attached upside down and once refitted, is now at the bottom of the Diverter, which further adds to the confusion. There is no clear way to determine the Top of the Diverter. The replacement Diverter I received is oriented opposite of what is shown in the video with the label at the top. (And it works fine.)
Proper hydraulic hose routing is crucial. 90% of hydraulic failures I've encountered are due to chaffing with hoses, that could have been easily prevented, if lines installed properly. It's sucks.if it's a Sunday with rental machine and no one is open. It can be deadly if 30-100 miles offshore fishing and it runs your steering gear.
Will this work on a ck2620?
What separates them is that they leak and use China parts.
This kit works on a kioti ck2510 also, this kit is on mine and works fine
Very informative and love the content.
Your diagram on your Amazon store for a universal third function does not show the "T" going to the tank. In that schematic the hose goes from the Third Valve "T" to the Pump inlet on the tractor loader valve. It is confusing regardless if I am right or wrong.
It can be different in some cases, generally you want to come off the power beyond port on the tractor into the "P" port on the summit valve and back to tank from the "T" port. If you are plumbing our valve in series with another, you can come out of the "T" port on the Summit Valve to feed pressure to another valve.
Excellent parts at Excellent prices 💯 thumbs up 👍
Thanks 👍
Do you offer that kit for the Kioti CS2220/2520? And how much would it cost?
Yes we do! You can find our kit here: summit-hydraulics.com/product/rear-hydraulic-valve-kit-for-kioti-cs2520-cs2220-series-tractors/ Price varies from $849.95 - $1,149.95 depending on how many spools you select.
I have the third function on my kubota, time saver.
This could be used to torture captives during war...impressive
So could your face! 😂😂😂
@@pob42 thank you for highlighting the type of people that would ever find this garbage entertaining. That's what your mom whispered into my ear last night.
I do not have factory rear remotes, but I have a dealer-installed rear remotes for the top link, box blade, and stump grinder. I also have a dealer install BH 92 backhoe. I had a LandPride third-function valve kit installed by the dealer for my grabbler after they installed the rear remotes and the backhoe and they used the green hose and did it the way you are doing it now and it worked good. Water got into the solenoid and it it stopped working. My question is can I use the green hose or do I have to tie it to the orange?
If you are looking to run another valve in your system, it has to be looped in series. You don't want to Tee into a pressured line because it will split the flow and cause it to not work properly.
I have a Ford 5610 it has remote in the back to operate the western dorf loader . We use to use a hardiness wheel 1:57 rake that need hydraulic to lift and then it just float down. But had to unhook one hose that ran the tilt on loader and put rake hose in it . . I’m looking to get a disc mower that will need to lines .is there some sort of valve I couple put in the coupler where I can turn a valve to either run loader or disc mower . Say the loader would bleed of while cutting?
If you are looking for a splitter type of valve to toggle between two implement functions, our hydraulic multiplier would be a great option. summit-hydraulics.com/product/hydraulic-multiplier-kit-scv-splitter-diverter-valve-including-couplers-and-switch-box-control/
flat face couplers are your friend. manual valves goated
Yes they are
Great job and an awesome company!!
We agree!
Install is a verb.
Drain the hydraulic fluid?
You don't need to drain the fluid.
Great Video!!!
Anyone installed this on a branson 2515h?
Hello, we have had customers install this kit onto that model tractor before, but we don't have any specifics to share about those specific installs. Please let us know if you have any questions though about how it might fit your model.
I assume this can be used to add a 3rd function any tractor that has a loader, regardless of age? I have a 1991 Case IH 495 that I would like to add a 3rd function to for a snow plow and a grapple in the future. I am assuming this would work, as it is a stand alone system, stand alone wiring and plumbs into existing hydraulics on the tractor. Hence "universal."
Hello, as long as the tractor's pump flow is less than 15 GPM, and the tractor is an open center system, then this kit will work great.
Why would you need to tie into the orange hose if factory remotes are installed?
I have the same size top link as what’s in the video (Cat 1 18”-30”), but there is not one on the site that matches. Not sure which one to choose.
We offer a 18" - 26" Top Link Cylinder. It can work if you are ok with the shorter stroke.
I just used mine for the first time and it seems to be stuck on the 3rd function. I pushed the button on the joystick and the grapple is working fine, but the red led light stays on and i lost my curl function. I have pushed the button as well as held it in, but it won't revert back to the curl function.
We recommend rechecking all lines connected to the valve. If lines aren't configured right then it could cause fluid not to divert right through the valve. If you have any more trouble shooting questions about your valve, please contact us at contact@summit-hydraulics.com
nope...got it figured out. Just the contactor in the joystick. I'll be calling for a replacement.
As sum mit has many different diverters, could you let me know what model diverter you are talking about in this video?
The valve in the video is a DV50-08S
How exactly does that work? If you connect it as you described, The other curl cylinder is still connected and will want to move when you operate the joy stick. The cylinder connected to the valve will be effectively closed with no relief. Sounds like a great way to twist the SSQA plate.
The other tilt cylinder has a Tee fitting going to it as well so hooking up our diverter valve won't interfere with the functionality as along as the lines are hooked up right.
@@summithydraulics That wasn't my point. The fact that it has a T is my point. When you activate the solenoid to divert the function to one of the cylinders, the other is still in the circuit. When you operate the added function, it will also be still putting hydraulic pressure to the other cylinder. In the case of a grapple attached to the third function, that cylinder will be trying to curl/uncurl at the same time as you are closing the grapple. The cylinder you diverted from will be locked in place as the valve has the oil flow off.
@@summithydraulics my point is, you need to intercept the line before both cylinders
Please add TYM . Cab also . Thanks. Growing
Great video informative no TYM BRANSON ON VIDEOS. I have a 4815CH TYM looking for a 4 button with rocker box to plug into my power beyond outlet from backhoe connect do u have a kit for me
Hello, you can use the universal version of that kit: summit-hydraulics.com/product/electric-rear-remote-valve-kit-for-compact-tractors-two-spool-three-spool-four-spool/
Can you still lower the ROPS with this kit installed??
I ordered this kit for my MY122, was not to bad to install, I'm still confused about the rear hydraulic lines hookup because I have the factory installed backhoe and it's a little confusing seeing their are no pictures, I have the add- on-kit so I have an extra line, still a very well built kit...
I just picked mine up in person yesterday. Will called. For my Deutz dx 3.70, I need 3 more for my others, but in time will get.
Awesome, glad to hear it! We will be happy to get you more when you need it.
Does the diverter valve have to be mounted with the coil pointing up or can it be mounted in any position? Enjoyed the video.
You can mount it in any position.
Can you add a 3d video of this rear install on JOHN Deere 2025r with cab yr 2022? I already have the 3rd function
Hello, we are creating many new videos that are on the way. We will pass your request along. Thanks for watching!
Can pressure be relieved on the quick disconnects without starting the tractor?
Can these Pilot Operated Check Valves be used in a Single Acting Configuration..??
I see on the website you have several different options with different flow rates. How do I know what I need? I have a Bobcat CT2025. Plan would be to run an add a grapple. Plus it seems like everything you have is on sale right now.
Hello, we have a complete kit for that model. summit-hydraulics.com/product/third-function-kit-for-bobcat-ct2025-tractor/
please keep making these videos, I just bought an ls MT225E and ill definitely be installing your product
Not BX25??
Fantastic job on the installation video and so easy to follow. Thanks guys.
Is this essentially the same install for a 3 series (3025e)?
Cool
No offense but that is ridiculously huge on the rops on an already small tractor, I'll stick to the factory installed rear and third romotes.
Labels video "installation", click on video, "we will not be doing a full installation"
Any updated kits for the Kioti CK20 series tractors yet? I got a CK2620se Cab tractor that I would love to install one of your kits on it. It already has the prewired front loader joystick with the aux buttons.
We currently don't have anything in the works for that model, but our 15GPM Universal 3rd Function kit would be a great option for your tractor.
You know you can get 4 rear remotes and a third function on the loader factory installed right? And I'm not sure why you would ever need 8 remotes like that on a 2610, i mean there's nothing that big this model is going to and or capable to pull that needs that many remotes lol, i love summit, but this thing is ridiculously huge and so overkill for such a small tractor.
If your tractor doesn't have rear remotes or factory installed remotes, our DIY kits are a lot cheaper than going to the dealer. Also, the kit in the video is the installation of a 4 spool valve kit, not 8.
This tractor does not have rear remotes. The Pressure port coming out of the tractor needs to connects to the P port on the 3rd function and the T port on the 3 rd function connects to the P port on theear Remotes to Pressure port on the rear remote valve
Does it work on Kubota L3901?
Yes
I have CK3510 gear, you need to add more content like where wires hook into and how run hydraulic hoses, video is a little vague for someone like me that wants to add this on his tractor... My other concern is, this brand handle with those two small buttons, will I have to take my gloves off to push buttons...........
Hi there. I bought one of these valves. I cannot find any information on the small L port located at the bottom side of the valve. Is this a return to tank drain line? When is it required to have this line connected to the return line to tank in an open system? I purchase a suitable plug to block the L port or is it better to connect it to the return line. A very quality valve. Thanks Dave
There isn't a specified L port on the diverter. There are small drain ports that come plugged with the valve.
Thanks for that. I noticed one of the metal plugs was removed from the small drain port and had a red plastic bung in its place, similar to the A,B,C,D ports only smaller in size so I wrongly assumed that this was a return line. Cheers@@summithydraulics
