Question can you use the tension barrel on the crown I have crown Iraq 8888 special edition coming to me it has the upgraded slug parts and I believe a tungsten hammer

Not really if you know what you are doing 😉 the most important is to see where the metal balls underneath have to sit en meet with the appropriate spot on the power wheel. If you stick them with grease against the power wheel then you can’t go wrong . The explanation about putting it back at the same spot is for the rookies 😉
Hello mate. Pretty nice video. Love my FX Crown on Sinthetic stock. Even I bought for him a .177 500mm barrel. Had some issues: once I tried to disassemble the rifle and lost the springs on that wheel. Later when trying to re assemble put the screw on a wrong position and ruined the threads. My gunsmith fixed it. Later on when trying to adapt a picatinny rail by myself, shot the rifle when air tank pressure was lower than regulator pressure. Psssss, all air went out trough the barrel. Again ro the gunsmith. That specific point of needing to disassembling all the rifle to change hammerspring level is only one of two defects I see for this rifle. Other one is not having a magnet to fix magazine to the stock. We need to talk man. What barrel liner are you using to shoot those slugs? The standard slx light liner? Or the heavy one? Regarding adjustability, FX intention is good. This same rifle Can be used for hunting, for field target, for BenchRest at 25, 75 and 100m and more. But. I want to know his limits when using slugs. Hi mate , yes there are a few things to keep in count when shooting pcp’s or you can end up by the gunsmith 😉 but I advise to watch many YT videos and you will be able to do those repairs by yourself very easily! If you take care of them you will hardly have any problems with them . Regarding my setup I am shooting at hammerspring #20 with the internal hammerspring near to max out and the regulator at 145bar this gives me about 960fps with 22gr slugs in the 700mm . You can raise the regulator pressure up to 160bar but don’t go higher then that as it can damage stuff
Have you changed the transfer port to dual transfer port or is it the factory settings? Coz with reg @150 and hammer spring max out I still get 890 with jsb 18.13.
With the crown MKII you get the FX barrel that has two sides on the transferport. You just need to rotate it to the side you want to use 😉 in combination with that I use a Huma probe with larger opening

Hi thx for the support, I must warn you 😉 airguns are addictive 😂 The Huma dual port can be used on the crown barrel no problem . The 2nd regulator isn’t a option though as it’s 100% build for the M3 and doesn’t fit the crown
No for pellets I am switching back to the Huma air high flow pellet probe , because the pin probe doesn’t seat the pellet deep enough. Regards added fps , it depends on the tune you have on the crown
@@fiestamans it doesn’t 100% matches the size of the dual transferport as FX holds on to the one hole port for pellets, Huma has a probe to match the dual side

Reg was factory set to 110 and velocity is too low, I'm looking for around 888 fps with JSB 15.89 gr pellets. I'll make some adjustments tomorrow. Cheers!
I always leave it on high for maximum airflow . If you want to up the power I would start by adjusting the internal hammerspring since you already have 110bar on your regulator. With the 500mm barrel you should get there with ease . Do this in small steps , put your TP on high , powerwheel on 23 and adjust it 1/4 turns up until you get to the 880 fps

The inconsistency is more to do with the hammerspring/regulator balance

No for pellets I am switching back to the Huma air high flow pellet probe , because the pin probe doesn’t seat the pellet deep enough.
