We learned quite a bit about the Stoneman's and their influence on music in his book-- The Stonemans: An Appalachian Family and the Music that Shaped Their Lives. If you are into this, and want to know a bit more about the history of this family/band---check out that book! Also----I've read (can't remember where) Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia was inspired by Scotty Stoneman's improvisional fiddle playing. Nice!
Just hang around a few more years and then there’s some more new old Stoneman Family coming up on YT thank you for this great footage seeing them a bit older with beards and stuff - yee haw!

what great memories of watching this every Saturday morning. The buck dancers was always my favorite part. Wish I had the whole series.
I realize that Pop Stone man is in the Country Music Hall Of Fame but, I wish the entire Stone man Family would be inducted into the Hall of Fame!!
