CTA 2021 Holiday Train and Bus Action Across Chicagoland

The CTA's famous Holiday Fleet was BACK in action this year! Last year the Holiday Train and Bus was running without passengers due to the restraints the pandemic brought to the world in 2020.
The CTA Holiday Train and Bus is a tradition that started in 1992 on the Blue Line, with a simple 2600 series train with a wreath at the front with a sign that read "Seasons Greetings from the CTA". This out of service train would travel across the city to deliver food to local charities and still does so today! The Holiday Train tradition has evolved over the years and 2021 is the 30th anniversary of these yearly events!
