In this Baron Nashor Guide, I will teach you literally EVERY. SINGLE. FACT, TIPS & TRICKS related to Baron Nashor in Wild Rift. When playing Cait you can attack baron from behind the big wall. It have big advantage as you’re not debuffed, not taking damage and you’ll slow down enemy invade on baron, but you can quickly run away using 3rd ability and enter baron’s pit if needed.

I’ve seen a high elo Ashe standing behind the wall (where the blast cone is) and attack barons while her team tanks in the pit. Very few champions can autoattack barons from behind the wall. I tested it out and found that Ashe, Caitlin, Nami and L6+ Tristana (and of course senna with enough stacks) can AA baron from behind the wall outside of the pit. Good thing to note if you play these champions and don’t want to get debuffed by Barons while your team is tanking damage. You may be able to put a wall between you and enemies this way to avoid dying.
If you are not the closest player to Baron, you will never get debuffed so this is not the problem to begin with.
I would never stand behind the pit except if I am afraid of dying to the enemy team. Otherwise it is better to stand in one of the safe spots, where a much shorter attack range is needed, to be able to assist your team if the enemy engages! You will be full HP/AR/MR anyway!
@@Jinko_ only closest player gets armor and MR reduced? Not the rest of team that is hit by baron's abilities?
@@Exter98 Every damage from Baron's AA and abilities (not poison) reduces your AR/MR no matter where you are.

Also good to know that some Marksman's with long range, like Caitlyn and Tristana, can hit the Baron from behind the back wall. Same works for drake, if it didn't move.
I had never made such a (relatively) long guide and the 15 min mark was scary so I removed that part as I figured it could apply to any objective, not Baron specifically. But yes you are entirely correct!

I mean it's not safe to stand behind the pit if enemy team is alive. It's better to use the safe spots imo
Depends on what side of the map your spawn is but you will be secluded anyway so yeah not ideal

Just to be clear, the 16 minutes buff is not especially stronger. It just is stronger than the 15th minute mark buff. Every minute mark buff is stronger than the previous one.
I used to think the back side attacks deal magic damage, apparently not. And dang, that blind spot is a genius move, hopefully I can remember that when playing. I'm learning a lot, merci beaucoup!

Thank you so much for this guide. I am currently in diamond III and mainly play ADC (Usually Jinx) and I didn't know most of the stuff in the video. I'll definitely use the attacking-behind-walls-at-the-sides trick in my games.

Attacking from behind is OP and the safe spot I kinda always knew about it, but not sure XD now I'm sure, the fact that baron get stronger every minute didn't know about, I thought that baron get stronger only after he dies, looking forward to abuse this in my games XD before they nerf it

Holy shit jinko, this is insane! Can you elaborate more on the part where you say "if you attack baron from behind you don't deal less damage"?
1- Does that mean that the baron 50 % debuff isn't applied if I hit him from behind?
2- Also, let's suppose I am solo killing baron, is it better to do it from behind, since I'm avoiding the missile strike?
3- And is it always better to stand behind if I'm the tank and our whole team is doing baron?
4- If I hit him from behind (first) , will he still target my allies who are in front with missile strike? Or does he completely abandon missile strike when he's engaged on fron behind?
1) It is applied. But some players believe Baron takes reduced damage from behind no matter who attacks him, though I do not know the origin of this myth.
2) Definitelty. The missiles are the highest source of damage, and though you can avoid them, you cannot avoid the acid pool.
3) You can stand barely behind him, just enough to trigger the spikes attacks, and when he is going to use it the second time, you move to the front. If he dies before the next spell, you just avoid damage, stun and AR/MR reduction without putting your team at any risk.
4) He never uses missile strike if the closest player to him is behind him. But even after testing so many times for so many hours you are making me doubt so I will make sure to try again tonight.
