MSRP $60,540!!!! I am soooo glad I bought my RV at the beginning of 2020 before the prices skyrocketed. If prices don't come back to earth, I will probably be done camping when my current camper wears out. My paycheck has not kept up with inflation. Thanks for the video, I might not have the $, but I still enjoy looking, this is a very nice layout.

You can find trailers in that price range now. The big thing is do you want a budget trailer that doesn’t have some extra features and may not last as long or do you want to spend the extra money for build quality and features like 0 to 110 degree rating, standard Solar, auto leveling, ect.
It all boils down to what you want and how you plan to use your rv.

This is absolutely the ideal fifth wheel that me and my wife have been waiting for. The length is perfect, not too long, not too heavy. We plan to pull it w/ an F250. It has a dinette w/ theatre chairs, perfect. Love the rear kitchen, great design, plenty of cabinets, larger fridge option, and lots of countertop space. The functionality of the rv when slides are closed is flawless. The only thing that I would change is that I need a full size queen. The rv size queen is just too short for my 6'1" height. That is the first thing I changed on my current rv. I don't want a free standing table and chairs. I hope our rv show in Salt Lake has one of these to look at this month. I suspect this design will be EXTREMELY popular and copied by everyone. Really love that the rv industry has the ability to make modifications quickly based on input from owners. Cougar did everything right on this one.
Thanks to Josh for putting together the best rv videos on the internet.

I agree with ditching the table and replacing with a desk/counter, but leave TV mounted to utilize the counter space like a desk. Maybe incorporate a slide out desk/table above a smaller fire place, between two cupboards, one with drawers. Saw something like that in another RV video. Two of those folding dining chairs would be nice as well. Maybe asking too much. Lol

Most people don’t eat at the table!
So, I like the idea of ditching the dinner table as an option for a fireplaces with a televator ( I mean a large TV not the standard 32” I see in some of the small campers) I like to travel cross country, and enjoy watching TV on a large screen from my couch at the end of the day! It doesn’t have to be a televator. It seems hard to find large TV in a smaller campers (less than 30’). I guess a girl can just dream! Just kicks back enjoying the games with some wines. I’m keeping looking for that special campers! I have time before I retired! 😅

I am absolutely in love with this layout. It is almost perfect for what my husband and I have been looking for. I would get rid of the dinette booth and replace it with table/chairs or something with extended counter space with fireplace. Also I read someone’s else’s comment about maybe moving the sink so there was more counter space next to the stove/oven. I agree, like maybe have the sink on the camp side (not a corner sink)and the counter space on the rear side. Idk, just a thought not sure if that could be done or not. I still love the rear kitchen either way. I think the bedroom needs another window either above the bed or maybe in the closet slide. Have 2 drawers instead of 3 and maybe stick the 3rd drawer in the closet somehow and place a little window above the 2 drawers. Also no carpet in the bedroom. Love that it has an outdoor refrigerator and place for griddle. We have a outside fridge now absolutely love it and it is a must for our next rig and it is hard to find a smaller floor plan with one. Would not change that area a bit. I do wish it had a longer awning not sure if one would work, would be nice however. When are they going to production with this model? My husband and I are shopping right now for a new rig and now seeing your video maybe we can hold off until they start production. Would love to check this model out. We have a Cougar 30RLS (last one off the line) and we love it. This is a little smaller but it has almost all that we love about ours. Night shade in the door is great, having it go from bottom to top is better. The kitchen works really well. I would take the knee knocker table & booth out and go with a table and chairs. Or better yet a table top that could be turned 90° and you could use for a desk/meals/buffet. It is missing a fireplace. We laughed about a FP in a RV but having it is comforting. Especially when you drive across country from San Diego to Coldwater in December to pickup your new RV. 🏖💓💓💓💓🏄‍♀️

I really love that it comes with the blackout shade in the door, I hope they do turn it around so it pulls up from the bottom that way you can still have it pulled up some but no one can see in. I really like the outside storage an hope that they do put the plastic little tips where the carpet is. The outside camp kitchen is great. Keystone really not it out of the park with this Cougar. Hi Josh,
    - Get rid of carpet in the bedroom, need a full queen, ok with everything else there.
    - Prefer a one piece shower
    - Remove the booth dinette and I like some of the other comments about the televator and fireplace in that space.
    - I'd do the sleeper sofa and you could have a folding table that stores behind or underneath it
    - No carpet in the garage
    - Love the on demand water, 12v fridge, under 30', kitchen layout
    - The solar in that config would interfere with the 2nd a/c option, but I'm sure they would adjust it
    - I agree with the comment of leaving that outside under cabinet space as storage. Great place for portable gas or charcoal grill and coals. also like the garbage can comment for there although it might be a little big for that. The great point is that they recognize that is dead space from the inside and are looking for solutions!

Thumbs up to Cougar! I alway watch the couple camper space because it fits my needs. the shorter length also puts less stress on both the truck and the driver. The rear kitchen with all that counter space is a big winner. As for the eating space I'm of two or maybe three minds lol. I would use to space more as a work space, setting up a computer work station. But i'm not sure I want cougar to provided a desk space for me. I think workspace is just to personal and don't believe they would produce a desk space a lot of people would be happy with. I think I would like the eating space with the one bench by the door, and chairs for the side by the kitchen. Now one of my strange suggestions. There is a lot of wasted space above the pantry and coffee station. The cabinets and pantry do not go all the way to the top. How about a ledge or rail on top that you could hook a ladder to for easy access to that space. they could even remove the exterior ladder and provide a collapsable ladder to us in either place. I don't think the space above the pantry would need to be accessed often, but it make a great place for routers, wifi, cellular, and other network items.

I was happy about the storage for shoes or for pet bowls! But at the same time, the dinette is just eh.
I wish manufacturers would get rid of ALL the carpet! Throw rugs are easy and cheap…and people can get the ones they want.
The little bit of storage next to the shower…THANK YOU to the manufacturer! In ours we have so little bath storage in ours…just a teeny spot for tp and chemicals under the sink, and the medicine cabinet. Having a place to put towels would be so so nice!
Space is prolly an issue, but having an outdoor sink, or a way to get water at the outdoor kitchen area would be nice. (My husband hooks a hose + nozzle to his outdoor sink on ours…but the water there while cooking and all is nice. He wakes super early, goes outside, and makes his coffee out there. And then for cleaning after he cooks outside.) And I’d love one with a washer + dryer. But again, the space is prolly not there.
I don’t have a preference with the closet area. We are used to cubbies, and rarely hang anything. But we also haven’t full timed in an rv. I might like shelves behind a door more than the drawers…. But I suppose that all that I normally roll up and put into storage cubes could be hung on hangers, and smaller things would work in the drawers.
    I’m excited about this rv!

We have a 2022 22MLS. I tow comfortably with my 1/2 ton. I love this model and would definitely consider it when the time comes to replace our current. I would outfit just as shown with theater seats and dinette, theater seats are hella comfortable and use dinette as a small bed for grandkids. Cougar is exceptionally quality trailer, we are very happy with ours.

Your right, it's a lot like the 22MLS, but I think it is better! Love the kitchen layout, and the fact they moved the bathroom upstairs. Much better exterior storage as well. I also like the fact they moved the upstairs access so you can shut the slide and not block off the upstairs.
I did not see any form of Fantastic Fan on this model, which is a must for me. Also would like to see wet bolts on the suspension as well if they are not already adding them.

If they could move that outside kitchen over under the window more, I bet they could extend that awning to the end of the RV. I love the outside kitchen but hate to cook so close to the RV so the first thing I would do is see if the structure for the griddle could be easily removed to put in a larger refrigerator. We have been looking for something under 30 ft for retirement travelling and options with door side windows have been few in fifth wheels so I was tentatively also looking at TTs. This is the closest I have seen to what we are looking for with the DS window over the dinette and with 100% road-mode access. The option for table and chairs would be my choice so then I could rip them out easily and put anything I want in that space. Maybe by the time we are ready to buy in a few years, they will make some more improvements to the floor plan. I am really liking this one!

How's this for an idea? This may be too wild, but I was thinking of your idea of a desk with a rising tv in it. How about if that desk had some kind of table extension so that it could be converted to a table if one was needed sometimes? It just occurred to me as I was watching your video. Perhaps the desk top could flip up and forward on hinges and supports for it could pull out from beside the desk drawers. There would surely be room somewhere to store two folding chairs. It's just a thought, and maybe nobody would ever use it, but I've always had a thing for furniture that converts from one use to another.

Completely agree with your thought about a desk/televator option in lieu of the standard booth dinette. This would also allow for additional storage to be added where the TV currently resides. The travel mode accessibility on this unit is almost unheard of on a 5th-wheel.

Definitely dinette as shown; I love that they use the hinge bracket on the wall rather than a pole in a hole! Love the little cubby and the potential storage. Road mode is great, and I like that it's not a block long fifth wheel. Your Payload vs. Towing was brilliant. The awning was short but I don't think they could do anything about that. I would like to see some type of 3 - 4 ft. pull out awning so that you are protected from sun or rain while using the griddle. I really like it!

If the price is right, I would absolutely buy this sans dinette and throw my sit-stand desk there for remote work. I'm perfectly fine with the floor vents, too - makes any necessary renovations that much easier! With the theater seating, 12V fridge, and rear carpetless, flush slide, it's nearly perfect!
If I had any points of consideration - and I'm being REALLY pitpicky here - I would have liked to see the kitchen windows be just a bit taller, and yes the awning does seem to be on the smaller side but I don't see where they could have squeezed much more length in there. Also, I noticed the redesigned floor vent did not make it into the bathroom - is there a reason for that?

Sooooo awesome! Since there is soooo much storage already, would it be weird to put a fireplace next to the pantry (under the coffee bar) instead of the lower cabinets - since it would be next to the recliners and the dinette? Especially since you could store your coffee maker right there in the pantry for transit?🤷🏻‍♀️ I just like a fireplace! Lol! Other than that (even just like it is), this really is a fantastic camper! I love the bathroom - tall shower, linen closet, and good sized! Love the wardrobe - love those drawers! Truth is, I’d be ok with just one hanging clothes wardrobe and more drawers, but I still love it like it is! Love the camper in road mode too - thank you Keystone! Love the size! My final major issue is the sealed counters, absolutely would not go with anything but solid surface after having had a sealed counter fail and swell up after getting wet. Theatre style loveseat looks like good quality, so do the window shades. The bathroom is beautiful and looks to be good quality, which as a consumer would expect from Cougar mfg. Josh, you asked for feedback so here are my thoughts:
    1. The general size, floorplan, etc. is great. I never owned a fifth wheel but these smaller ones look really attractive to me.
    2. That little coffee counter in front of the entrance is awesome. It’s already my favorite spot and I don’t even own this RV!
    3. Yes to the dinette swap option. Ever seen those dining/desk convertible units that they put into Class A motorhomes? It’s a dining table in the center, but you can turn 90 degrees and pull out a little desk tray. I’ve never seen one in a towable (maybe there is a reason) but would be kinda cool.
    4. The closet slide is probably unnecessary for me personally, I think I’d trade that for weight saving on the hitch.
    5. I’d like to see manufacturers embrace batteries more. More solar, more Lithium batteries, less propane. How about an induction cooktop?
