Fine, thick, snd high porosity here and it’s definitely a science lol. I have found that I must first prioritize moisture, and next always keep my hair stretched. I love my volume so frizzy works in my favor, but I definitely have to detangle and remoisturize every five days to keep it from drying out.
If you have fine hair, trust me, you know it lol I don't cut the knots. I will there and pick it out, even if it's hours later😂 I'll keep it in twists until it grows out. It's in the middle of my back. I'm finding the more leave-in I use, the longer the moisture lasts. I'm truly learning to love my hair and letting go of length retention. It's been damaging my end and wreaking havok on my scalp.
Ladies, please share what's your go-to (past & present) protective style for fine curls? Before the natural hair movement, mines was in a high bun and/or roller set leave out with a bun. Now, it's just a pineapple bun after a wash and dry.

Yes i am slowly realising that i may not be moisturising enough. Stretching is also necessary but i also love the volume when it’s in a wash & go
