Week in the Life- Massive Flathead Collection, Early Fords and More!

- We haven't done a Week In The Life video in a while, and this week is the perfect for everyone to tag along. To start off the week Matt gets to work on the SHR creating a custom package tray to house the radio. Tuesday and Wednesday are spent on the road delivering the 1938 Ford coupe, shooting a podcast with Josh, the museum director, and bringing the 1932 Ford Roadster home. Thursday is spent working in the shop and unboxing a new wheel balancer from Eastwood. Friday is spent with our good friend Pete shooting a podcast and another video on Flathead intakes for our Hot Rodding 101 series. Be sure to comment below with your favorite part of the week!!

Pete is such a treasure, I just wished I live closer. I have bought a few treasures off of him over the years at Carlisle and Hershey but I could listen to the stories he tells all day. A true gentleman.

I've known who Pete was for a long time. I didn't know he had such a collection of stuff.
That was called a wonderbar radio. You could change the stations from a switch on the floor between the clutch and brake pedal. I have one in my 46 coupe.

It’s a shame that all that is squirreled away but I guess it was amassed when nobody wanted it. So good for him for saving it from the furnace 😎 . Maybe he could make some nice money selling it to the new hot rodders

Matt, I think it’s a bad idea to put the radio behind the seat. Way to inconvenient to operate there plus very susceptible to the elements. Great look of radio but needs to be under the dash.
