I love this lady soooo much and use her paints to restore furniture and not only 😊😉
Me too!! :)
Fabulous! Love Annie’s tutorials. How does she manage to never get a drop of paint on herself??
I am literally covered in it just opening the tin!! 😂
Wow this was amazing what wonderful techniques and the results were beautiful lovely lady 😊
Very Elegant look, everything needs a touch of gold :) Thank you :)
Love this look Annie. Looks like what you see sometimes in old houses when you remove wallpaper - only much better!
Hi Annie, your paint and work is simply wonderful. Getting ready to paint an accent wall with your pure, so excited.
Annie... I got a wonderful stack of mixed metal leaf on AliExpress... there was silver and antique silver, all the golds... antique, rose etc, and also brass and copper. Love them.
wow! it is so sophisticated and old world at the same time. love love love. the verdegris look is wild too, really adds another dimension/texture.
and I never thought to use my mix mat like that, cool!
Love the look! The gold leaf is cool. Thank you!

Hello, please, if possible, put subtitles in Portuguese-Brazil. I love your job. thanks. Anette
👍
Can you do the same technique with the new wall paint? Most of my walls are pre-painted metal sheet walls think interior walls in a cool room
Hello, yes you could but you wouldn't get the same thick texture, for which Chalk Paint works so well
@@AnnieSloanHome Thank you for replying I appreciate that and I’m definitely going to try it out, excited to actually
What kind of lacquer do you recommend using?
Hi, we would recommend our Chalk Paint Lacquer: www.anniesloan.com/product/waxes-and-finishes/chalk-paint-lacquer/ which comes in a Matt or Gloss finish.
Do you put the lacquer on the whole wall or just on the gold leave parts?
It's up to you! On the first wall the whole thing was lacquered for a cohesive look.
Hi Annie! I don't know iif I'll be able to afford cardboard for a project like this... 🤔 Love your humor! 😄😅
As English is not my first language I missed sometging about using the lacquer to protect the "gold" leaf, will it cause the verdegris oxidation or will it protect it after this process happen by time and humidity?
Thanx a lot!
Hello! The Lacquer will react with the Gold Size which will cause the verdigris look. The Lacquer will protect the actual Brass Leaf from tarnishing. You could wax the wall as an alternative if you didn't want the verdigris look. Hope this helps
@@AnnieSloanHomewhat kind of wax and lacquer do you suggest? Which gives me rather matt gloss?
LOVE this! love the colours and the techniques and the textured look
Hello! The base is Wall Paint in Old White, and all the rest of the paint is Chalk Paint.
@@AnnieSloanHome thanks! You are such an artist I LOVE your style 😍
Merci mais j'aimerais tant avoir la transcription en français !
I like the paint design but The gold Leafing is far too fluttery on walls and it would take me months as I’m a perfectionist xx
