My wife is a cosmetologist. She really appreciates your care and thoroughness. SO many hairdressers DO NOT take the time and care you are taking. She stopped working in a salon because it seemed NO ONE really did what they were taught to do in school. She said Thank you!
Facts 😅❤it smart tricks Eddie leaving the oil in the caps when they will be overnight and if away for a day ❤it as well as your shears and washing your guards in sink then barbacide . I’m doing the same thing now and what I do every night is the 7in1 blade wash by andis. I’m Always clean and my tools treat me right and run nice and smooth and at least every 2 weeks I take them fully apart and get what ever else is stuck in there left over. The andis blade wash works wonders for getting mostly everything out of the machines and even the shears hair would just slide right out of the scew and anywhere else. I have to say if anyone is not cleaning their tools the right way the tools are not going to work the same and will not treat you right. Awesome content Eddie ❤it
Been learning to cut for 2 years. Ive watched many of POPULAR PROS but not one has done a video this thoroughly like this...THANKS! and happy to know, i had my customers SAFE! Now, im even more confident, in sanitizing my things💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
I been cutting my own hair before it was cool! Haha good video boss. I definetely stepped up my sanitation game 100 percent so my family and friends don't get infected from my clips. I started wearing gloves too. Not necessarily for the virus, but for barbers disease. Knock on wood In never have to deal with it! Stay Sharp
Tell that guy that walked in ...I think I’ve watched enough videos through the pandemic that I might just be able to start fading and my clippers are actually clean 😂 I legit picked up clippers during pandemic so I saved a lot of money cutting my own hair lol
Great information. As always! Stuff we should be doing all the time anyway...virus or no virus! Quick question. Most people automatically assume, based on comments, you’re an “Eddie” but on your mirror I noticed “Eddy”. I wanna give you all the respect you deserve and get it right! Which are you, Eddie or Eddy?
It is so annoying how the Andis 7, and other such blade dips, come in that style of container. I also pour a little at a time into a stout, wide container which I then dip blades in, but pouring from the Andis 7 container to the dipping container gets everywhere! I noticed Eddy had to wipe the container right away too. I need to find another container to pour the Andis 7 into that will make it easy and clean to dispense. Maybe one of those chemical rinse bottles... 🤔
I thought that we can put the shears inside the barbicide and keep there for some minutes and de top of shave u should clean inside because is dirty always we use.
Also can you make a video on how you sanitize in between customers like how does that work if someone comes in at 3 o’clock in here done cutting their hair at 3:15 I don’t know what time it takes to cut hair in you get someone right after that how are you sanitizing in between
Hi i hope you can help me i've purchased babyliss trimmer seller said its new but its not and i wanna sanitize the blades and i ordered Barbicide Disinfectant but people said its a bad idea to use barbacide on the blades but i still wanna try it and my question is how much barbacide should i use % water to barbacide i know i don't need much its only the blades but still no clue
@@RUclipsBarberAcademy Thank You for such a fast replay i truly appreciate it so i can just put in the cup Barbicide and dip it and for how long should i keep it i hope you don't mind me asking so much questions
If someone has about $25 what is budget for me that will take care of sanitizing and this is mainly for someone starting with very little money to work with
I'm confused tho because I've done this with my clippers and spraying the cool care even while I'm cutting hair and i still got some light circles in my hair. so i think i got something from cutting my hair and some of my friends' hair. But i used barbicide and cool care after each cut....
@@RUclipsBarberAcademy so you wouldn’t recommend cleaning them at all just keep them oiled? I have brand new instinct x clippers and sc saber trimmers just want them to last as long as possible
@@RUclipsBarberAcademy Yes but I am thinking about the product because if I buy spray and I put it in a glass is it the same ? And what about clippercide and andis 5in1
@@darkichigo9037 The Spray (5in1) should be used in between each haircut, it's main purpose is to disinfect & acts as a coolant. The Solution (7in1) is a deep clean and should be done once a month at the end of the day. It prevents rust also and gets rid of all the caked hair. More importantly you should oil your clippers after every 2 or 3 clients with the clipper oil.
Very nice video that are steps that a lot of barber doesn't show or really quick. I would like to know if the only difference between andis 5in1 and the 7in1 is the oiling. Moreover what is the best between andis 5in1 and clippercide because the clippercide is cheaper and I would like to know if there is a real difference.
Thank you! I’ve been trying to find how and with with what to clean/disinfect and prevent rust on the shears. Is it possible to use the andis cool care spray on the shears too?
Did you say that you oil your shavers too? I just got the babyliss pro foil fx 02's and I've been looking for videos on maintenance. I saw that you sprayed them with clippercide or andis cool care, but do you actually oil the blades too? Thanks brother.
What's your best suggestion on cleaning a corded clipper? Don't wanna stick a corded in that cup of 7in1 amiright? Lol. Get zapped. I'm assuming take them apart and clean the blades individually?
@@RUclipsBarberAcademy I used to just spray them down and then set them upwards but my magic clips stopped working one day and I took it apart and the inside was covered in liquid and it was corroding. What about using clipper blade oil/ lube after you have disinfected with andis blade care?
I thought that we can put the shears inside the barbicide and keep there for some minutes and de top of shave u should clean inside because is dirty always we use.
Could you put a list of all the disinfectants that would be very helpful

Thanks for the tips good show.
Everyone should do this amazing work
Great info thanks but Sanitize vs disinfect makes me confuse. What’s the difference ?
Another video I needed to see. Thank you, sir!
Been cutting my own hair for 11 yrs now and I can’t stretch it enough on how important sanitation is with clippers
You had me at Go Bills..........

What type of air compressor was that?
Great information!
So obviously you can use andis disinfectant on wahl and oster too?
Which do I need for just my personal use?
If it is only for you, all I would do would be get a clippercide spray and keep some oil
@@RUclipsBarberAcademy Appreciate it man
I’ve heard you should spray the coolcare from a distance to cover up more space but idk
Dixie cup method is useful!
No one said how often should you do this ?
So the foil shavers clean up that easy?
Appreciate the video brotha !!
Please do you repeat this process for every haircut? I talking about the Andis care (the one you put on that rep cup)???
At most do the process every day but at least oil every day or in between every cut if you want to
I always clean my blades I love my detachables
If someone has about $25 what is budget for me that will take care of sanitizing and this is mainly for someone starting with very little money to work with
When should I be putting oil on the blades. At the beginning and end of every day? Or oil in the morning and blade wash at the end of a day?
Oil in the morning then at the end of the day clean them a little
Would alcohol work instead of the blade care or barbicide?
After using barbicide is it safe to just air dry or should we rinse them ?....since it shouldn’t come in contact with bare skin?
That was a great video. 👍

Is it ok to spray the guards with the aerosol spray as well?
I wash them firs soapy water rince then spray Kool lube
How often should you clean if you only have clippers / trimmers for personal use maybe 2x/4x a month ?

Did you change out that barbercide after putting that shaver blade inside? Isn’t the barbercide and everything in it now contaminated?

Does the andis cool care eat up the paint on the clippers

Do you rinse your razor after you dunk it to barber code?
After you spray/ oil your clippers and or blades you should flip them upside down so the liquid doesn’t go into the motor and ruin them. Just a tip
