Do a video about fading techniques and how to hold the clipper.. And what flush mean. Its gone be a hit! Barbers don't talk about this subject to much
If you get 10 likes on this comment I'll do it faster than you can say "Kyrie winning a championship this year".

Still didn’t do it !!!!! Cap
What is flush in barbering terms?!
Neck strip: Acts as a barrier between the cape and client's skin
Cape: Protects client's clothes from falling hair
Edgers: Used for various tasks like balding lines, tapering, and grooming
Adjustable clippers: Staple tool for fades, high tops, and general trimming
Comb and brush: Used for brushing and combing hair during fading
Disinfectant spray: Keeps tools and surfaces clean between clients
Dusters: Removes hair from the face, neck, and cape
Talc powder: Helps dry the skin and remove stuck hair
Mirror: Allows clients to provide immediate feedback during the haircut
Alcohol alternative (aftershave lotion or witch hazel): Used for cleaning without damaging the skin
Barbicide: Disinfectant solution for combs, guards, and shears
Cotton swabs: Efficient way to apply liquid products without wasting excessive amounts
Oil: Cleans and lubricates clippers for optimal performance
Towel: Wipes excess oil from clippers before application
Razors and razor holders: Used for achieving sharp and close lineups
This was a brilliant synopsis of the basic must haves. Been in the business a little over 30 years and agree with your advice, wholeheartedly. Well done, Sir.
I only cut me and my brother's hair, lol. But I found this to be hella informative. Thanks for the upload.
Glad to help bro, thanks for watching!
You are on a different level of professionalism.
Never knew what the powder was for and didn’t know alcohol damaged the skin! Great information bruh
Yea it took me sometime to find that out too, I don't know why it isn't talked about more. And haha yea bro, people still use alcohol, but there are better solutions.

lmfao. bro I have no idea. I'm actually still fighting the sickness.
Sound like u got that magic Johnson
Your voice is so soothing 😍
I would suggest lowering the music 🎶 or not using music at all, your voice has enough swag❤️
Just my opinion.
Either way GREAT vid 💯

Great video, I've just begun cutting and you answered all of my questions regarding cleaning my clippers and how to do an edge. Im not a professional, i just cut for veterans in a hospital for free. I like my patients/clients feel good about themselves.

Thank you for putting this video up, man!
I was looking for this exact information.

I have to young sons 8 and 5 to practice on so I've been wanting to learn what I needed and brotha your video is a blessing
I always hated that oily sensation now I understand why! I never liked either the whole alcohol thing. Good job bro for helping us out ! You take care of everything, the hair, the skin etc
This video helped so much! I'm just starting out and its kinda my side thing at the moment but I am definitely wanting to get more into cutting hair. Great info
Shane Alicea bro my uncle wants me to become a barber and I’m really thinking about it but idk
You touched up on a lot of stuff that I need to know that was a very informative video good looks bro💯
Such valuable advice. I appreciate the information I first saw your video on which clippers are best under $50 years ago now I’m a subscriber. Thank you.❤
At my barbershop we use a tube of compressed air coming from the roof
This my new favorite channel. Awesome tutorial
Very good .very interesting.learn some thing every day .the neck strip i never knew about .and putting oil on the blade to keep it sharp .
Thank you for explaining the basics, particularly the sanitation expectations. The reason why I start cutting my sons' hair is because one of them caught rengworms after getting a fade from a barber who didn't sanitize his hair cutting materials. I am not a barber but I do a really good job cutting hair since I know how to draw. Now that my boys are preteens, I am trying to learn to perfect my hair cutting hobby. Your videos are going to take me to the next level.
Blessings Monika and good luck
Thanks for spreading the knowledge bro ✊🏽
Gotchu fam!
Thank you, this video was very helpful. I learned a lot.
Good job bro been having my license for 8 years its crazy to me how much better the game is getting
Great information, right to the point in every item described.
This is so relaxing
The entire video was helpful. Sometimes bc of lupus I have to cut my hair. Please continue making videos.
You shouldn't use a neck duster, cuz alot of em you can't sanitize, instead, use a clean fresh towel on each customer and never put shears in barbercide n water, it can rust the blades n dull them faster, use cool care on shears
Thebarberstable hes right i left my shear in for a while and it rysted
Leave anything in barbercide "for a while" it will deteriorate in some fashion. That doesn't quite answer why you shouldn't put shears in there correctly.
I've heard from Shear specialists that Cool Care should not be used. Instead, use the specific shear oil that's provided. The reason being that Cool Care over time will prematurely deteriorate the o-rings or mechanism to pivot the shears. Despite this recommendation from them, I still use Cool Care...
Bah this guy is from Connecticut no doubt only barbers from there doesnt use neck duster ....for me is way better and easier using my neck duster than a stupid slopy towel
There's nothing wrong with dippin your scissors in the barbicide for a little bit just don't let it sit in there overnight. I'm from Connecticut and they try to tell us we gotta use towels but dusters work way better we've been using them for years and years I just try to keep mine clean by spraying it will cool care and combin it out. I know it doesn't it clean it completely but it's better than nothing. I do the same what my brushes and I change them often they're not that expensive
Appreciate it Young Man, speaking on cleanliness, and the importance of keeping your tools disinfected, for your safety and your paying clients if you have any. Something alot of these youtube barbers don't talk about enough, or even cover the different maintenance and cleaning products for clippers and razors....I've never had a problem letting a barber know he needs to be sure to clean his stuff after seeing some guy with a nasty head full of dandruff get a cut. Which Barber Shop with any class should provide a $5 extra wash for any clients walking in with a nasty looking head or dreads.
You Taught Me Alot in only 11 minutes
honestly this helped a lot i’m a beginner in all of this just trying to learn a little something so that i can do men and women’s hair as a hobby and if it turns into a career psh that’s great too. ❤️😂👌🏽
This is very interesting, thank you for being very detailed

I really needed someone to do this. Go threw some of the products seen in my state board bag and products i see my classmates using. Thanks a lot.. Im trying to learn it all
I really be appreciatin videos like this 💯
I'm starting a haircutting business, thank you for the best insight
Just a bit of constructive criticism, tying the neckstrip kind of eliminates the purpose of using a neckstrip as it reduces the the coverage allowing for the cape collar to touch they neck.
Their neck not they neck. Just a bit of constructive grammar CRITICISM
@@1briandavis chill bruh
Well then how else arw you gonna make the neck tie stay? They don't have velkro straps at the end of it or anything like that
@@TymanHer tuck em in fool like you do your belly roll
