    For someone who isn’t a hairdresser and just buzzes their own hair, I’m wondering if using cool care and taking apart the clippers is still recommended. I’m just terrible with mechanics, but I think I’ll still try. Thanks

    • @Seancutshair

      Not as often for sure since you’re not cutting near as much. Some canned air to blow out build up and some oil would be fine.

    • @ReneeCaraway
      @ReneeCaraway Год назад +2

      I think the most important thing for someone who only cuts their own hair is "don't store your clippers and trimmers in your bathroom." I have found that so many people do this and even if they're in a drawer, the steam from showers will rust your clippers.

    What’s the difference between lubricating the clips with cool care plus and oiling it up

    • @Seancutshair
      @Seancutshair  4 года назад +1

      Cool care is more of a temporary fix but less “messy” When you oil them they tend to gum up with hair since they’re so lubricated. Never a bad thing to oil them. But I do it after cleaning and leave them to sit over night

    Is there a big difference between clipper oils? I usually use Wahl oil on both my Icon and Andis T-Outliner. I'm asking because I need to buy more oil and all I can find is Andis (which does seem a little thinner). Wahl is saying you should ONLY use their oil on their clippers, but does it really make a difference? 🤔

    • @Seancutshair
      @Seancutshair  3 года назад +2

      I would say no. But don’t quote me. I have a big bottle of andis I use on everything. If I “HAVE” to put bmw oil in my M3, bmw makes more money 🤷🏻‍♂️
