yea you right....i try to use my mouse to click spells in the guides so its easier to follow and understand....i just don't want people to really overthink rotations....i do suboptimal pve rotation alottttt because im mostly focused on pvp....i try to do big damage always...but if you focus too much on pve you forget to pvp.....like me pressing sw:d and then void bolt when void torrent was on cd....ya i prolly need to get void torrent out on cd...but i also have 2 insta cast abilitties that cant be interrupted ready and avaiable with my sw:d proc and void bolt....and maybe i'd get insta kicked on void torrent if i just pressed it on cd...its situtational most of the time you know....
Just curious, why Idol of N’zoth and Distorted Reality? Wouldn’t Mind’s Eye be a better choice dps wise? And collapsing void dmg is kinda weak atm. Just wondering why those talents.

Thx for build. But what about our defence abilities. Any rogue can easily interrupt our cast or any mage can survive in ice our burst and kill after we have 2min cd.
I instinctively built into voidweaver & mindbender but i didn’t fully realize how good the synergies were (still lvling my priest, its like one my least important alts) great guide! I’d be curious tho to know what embellishments you plan on using etc when season starts
Great guide! will give it a try, but: the mindbender summoning talent only works on targets below 20%. You are hitting a 1% dummy that is why you summon so many. In a real scenario you will not summon any.
They summon off of death speaker procs…and you people drop to 20 percent health all the time….esp in bgb you will have multiple times where you will have 4-5 mindbenders out.
@@GervinhoGervi i could make a great accurate guide on every spec in the game but if i dont have that cache of being rank 1 on the spec people will think its innaccurate or something...i'm rank 1 on deva so prolly deva next.
Tried Archon, noticed that has a very slow ramp up time, even against the most braindead team good luck casting where your main damage spell is halo, its absolutely terrible, voidweaver on the other hand is mostly instant cast spells which by a mile is so much better, enabling you to kite, our mobility sucks anyways and you hampering yourself with long archon cast times is insane. You are the goat tho because your guides are step by step and explain every detail.
@@BigStou ya people have a hard time thinking in pvp….i can read a set of talents vs another and instantly tell which one is going to perform better for pvp….unless tuning is really completely awful and off….and thankyou I am the goat for a lot of reasons but that is 1 of them.

Could you tell us whats the best equipment slot with versa haste and which is the best embellishment to craft while also being a slot where we can add an extra pvp gem for precog?
at the start of the season everyone's kind've on their on with emblishments...some are completely broken and then everyone starts playing them...but they don't realize theres another equally broken embellishment available to them already....we are now on the second day of the season and i have yet to look at any of the embellishments...i'm just going to pick 1 that i think sounds good on paper for pvp....i like stat sticks alot....it's hard to mess up a big fat primary stat boost...or mastery...even haste on some specs...its not going to be for another few weeks maybe months till people really figure out what is best....and yea in terms of stats because everyone's so low it's generally really good to go all haste vers or even 1 haste crit....haste mastery.....and sacrifice some vers for some more dam...
what are ur thoughts on SP in double DPS? I play with a feral buddy. Played a lot of enhance too and almost got 1600 day 1, but its been a serious struggle on both. Really thought double dps would be better this expac.
sp/feral can get the top of the 2s ladder with 2 good players easily...but you guys both gotta know whats going on.....you should be killing dps 99 percent of the time....exceptions for rdruids can make tabs....you have to really understand positioning aswell so you can live for long long time as sp if they go you.
Everything was really good until you get to the rotation, only suggestion , run through rotation first, then talk to each move in rotation, everytime you would explain a move you went back to first move of rotation. I am new to shadow and this vid was great, just a small improvement suggestion.

it shouldnt actually change your target it says that in the code but you always remain targeting the same person...which makes the macro actually good you can continue to dps....and if you press the marco too quickly and the mindbender is on global still you will just get the pi part of the macro to work but not the mindbender so you just have to press it twice.
hey man i'm sure it's viable...i just am hyperbolic at times...i just think at a rank 1 level voidweaver has alot better pvp interactions...specifically 3v3....since i have played so much sp arena.....in bgb i could see archon being viable especially on some maps..... archon could viable on eots or silvershard mines....depending on how hard it would hit but entropic rift is just as good in those aoe scenarios if not better....since you can group people up with it and slow them....this is insane bgb tech here you aren't seeing.....the much much better execute also is primed for all pvp....trust me i have my reasons when you see the game from my view.....imagine trying to burst and you have to cast void erupt....halo.....then void torrent....3 casted abilities back to back to back....with voidweaver you dont need to cast halo and you get cast void torrent while moving you can suck people out of los and get the cast off 80 percent more often...and then it just auto summons your big etropic rift that literally follows people to do damage...it's quite good.

if you actually took the build out in the field and played it correctly you'd know even if you never took an enemy below 20 percent health, you can have 3-4 mindbenders out regularly....and then when they do get in death range you can get 4-5 easily.....dot multiple people farm deathspeaker procs........either have mindbender out or get one from the proc....then spam shadow word death when it lights up.....you will extend your current mindbender and potentially proc more..you should change your name to one braincell man.

Try taking points out of the bender line. Essence devourer heals for more with shadowfiend and it hits harder. You could run screams or ire instead.

Been trying Void Weaver.
Feel like Halo still does more damage but getting the damage off feels impossible versus void weaver.

Archon isnt even about Halo damage though, its that you get 4 stacks of Surge of Insanity to bank for a kill setup,
