Great list! I'm currently playing Stardew Valley Expanded with a few mods for the first time and I'm totally addicted lol.. That game is so good! That's how I started to like pixel games. I'm looking foward to most games on the list incluing Witchbrook and Haunted Chocolatier. It's a bummer that World of Anterra is not available on Steam. Thank you for the content
I"m so addicted to Stardew also! I just started playing modded after getting it on Switch and Xbox both lol. I can't wait to hear when Haunted Chocolatier is going to be released. I'm for sure going to start a new save and maybe do a let's play in the meantime. Thanks for watching!
Great video! I'm definitely looking forward to a few of these. You definitely showed me a few games I hadn't heard of. Keep up the great work, I'll be coming back to this channel for sure.
Moonstone Island! Spirit battler/tamer/deckbuilder + lifesim features Sea of stars! Team attack rpg Take a look at FF Remasters I-VI for switch, World of Anterra for steam(single player/coop, open world rpg, controlable diogue), Crystarise (real time open world rpg/sim with crafting and building on your floating island), maybe sanctuary saga: (turn based, FF type combat, characters interact and choices affect mood and relationships. Each char has uniquely effective moves)
I love pixel games because they're cute and I can run most of them on my work laptop with integrated graphics! I thought i could never play any games on it but I'm so happy that many indie developers are making pixel games that can be played on low end pcs. I've played roots of pacha and it's adorable. I can't wait for moonstone island and chef rpg, it's not on this list but it looks promising!
Also check out the upcoming Kingdom Eighties. The Kingdom Games are surprisingly chill and relaxing pixel art games. They're my favourites. And if you like that one, you'll enjoy Dome Keeper too.
World of Anterra looks good. Probably try that one. Its still in kickstart mode and not playable yet? Also Roots of Pacha is something I'd play, but is it Co-op only and can't single play it? Have you played or heard of Sun Haven? Full released this year, but I've been playing since Patch 0.7 and logged 220 hours into it. Its really good.
World of Anterra had a goal of July 2023 but according to the Kickstarter they are highly active in their Discord answering questions so not sure what's going on there, but hopefully we will hear something solid by the end of 2023. Roots of Pacha is single player or co-op :) so hopefully you will get to try this one out. I have been playing and loving Sun Haven in my spare time. I really love it! I am 37 hours in. Definitely worth buying.
Chained Echoes is a good shout! I had way more than 15 on my list and am thinking of a part 2 :) I was trying to pick ones out this year or heard of this year.
This list needs to be retitled “Top Pixel Farming Games 2023”. I came here looking for some upcoming Metrovania titles… but that clearly isn’t your thing. Still you put a lot of effort into this video and OPT2 as #1 earns my thumbs up.
Oh I haven't checked out any mobile games in a long time, I'll have to make a list for sure :) sans Stardew Valley haha. I have it on every device but mobile lol.
Thanks for sharing this list with us, here is the best thing I can share with you. Here is the truth, that is for all people. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. -Romans 3: 23 The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. -Romans 6: 23 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. -John 14: 6 Whoever believes in Jesus has eternal life, but whoever rejects Jesus will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them. -John 3: 36 Believe in Jesus and you will be saved. Then read the Bible, pray to God and obey Him. I hope you will consider the great importance of your eternal soul.
Really love the art design of One Lonely Outpost. Have you thought about checking out Farworld Pioneers? Looks like a combination of Rimworld and Terraria.
This looks like a good one! There's a free demo out on Steam now, I'll have to check it out. I've been meaning to try out Terraria for the longest time as well. One Lonely Outpost definitely has some great characteristics.
It's nice to see people still appreciating pixel art now a days ^^
Same! I'm always happy to find new pixel art games.
One of the few things I love about pixel art games is that how much freedom and opportunities they offer which makes the games 10 times better 👏
I cant' get enough of them!
Thanks so much for this compilation. I also love pixel games! Cant wait to play these :D
Hope you enjoy! There's so many more I couldn't fit into this list.
Great list. A tip for future videos: Make the background music just a tad quieter than your voice. It makes your voice stand out a lot more.
Thanks so much! I appreciate the feedback.
☝️🤓
know what, good watch and content, here's a sub: I hope you go far in this crazy world of youtube, I tried once and failed so wishing you the best!
Thanks for the sub! I hope to keep bringing you all content like this.

It's so hard to find co-op games and I love to find the few there are! Glad you enjoyed the list.

I really enjoyed your list. A lot better than the usual very brutal pixel art dungeon crawlers out there. Thanks! Diggin' it!
Thanks! I know everyone has different tastes but I've been personally enjoying more chill games.
I wonder if it has something to do with me getting too old for the action ;-)
Anyways, keep it up.
And you have a new subscriber.
I put every single game of this video in my wishlist!!! Love the video! You have a brand new subscriber here.
I'm happy you enjoyed the list! Appreciate the subscription, I'm updating my game list as we speak lol.
Looking forward to this year in pixel games :)
There's so many that aren't even on this list. This looks like a good year for pixel games.
Great stuff! Hadn't heard about many of these before
Thanks! I know there are many more that could be on this list but some of these are my personal favorites.
Great video! I'm definitely looking forward to a few of these. You definitely showed me a few games I hadn't heard of. Keep up the great work, I'll be coming back to this channel for sure.

Wow, thanks! Appreciate you so much. Glad you enjoyed the content.
I am looking forward to more Sea of Stars content. My most anticipated game currently
I really would love to do a playthrough of Sea of Stars, the demo has been great to far.
@@MiniSnackums I hope you do.
Also check out the upcoming Kingdom Eighties. The Kingdom Games are surprisingly chill and relaxing pixel art games. They're my favourites. And if you like that one, you'll enjoy Dome Keeper too.
Thanks for this! Those both sound great and I put them on my ever growing wish list lol. Appreciate you stopping by the channel.
Lots of gems thank you for sharing
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching :)
Great list of games! and thanks for not doing the annoying overhyped youtuber style. I could watch this channel all day
Thanks! I just want my channel to reflect me and share what I love.
Have you heard about Candlebook Island yet? Should be coming out on the Nintendo Switch in a few days!
great list 👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed, thank you so much!
you should try Dreamed Away! I think you'd love it
Oh it looks so good Awesome suggestion, going on my list to play :)
World of Anterra looks good. Probably try that one. Its still in kickstart mode and not playable yet?
Also Roots of Pacha is something I'd play, but is it Co-op only and can't single play it?

Excellent job. Muchas gracias, sigue con contenido así por favor.💚
De nada y muchas gracias por ver este vídeo. Lo siento mi espanol es mal :) I will continue the content, thanks for the love.
I also recommend Potion Permit, a very cute game.
I've had my eye on Potion Permit for the longest. I just need to break down and try it lol.
hey what's the song u used towards the end of the super zoo story segment? its so chill
I get all my music from Epidemic Sounds, that one was by Baegel and the song is Cyber Wham.
Void Terrarium 2 should really be on this list ❤
Oh this looks like a good one, I'll have to do a non pixel game list :)
I think it's pronounced Mr saa hee toh nice video...
😊 Thanks for the correction I couldn't find much info on this one yet.
Super Zoo Story looks straight up like Stardew, yeah. I mean if it's half as good I'll be happy
Same! I'm addicted to Stardew. it's really kicked off a lot of new farming sims lately. Everyone wants to be like them.
No chained echoes?
Chained Echoes is a good shout! I had way more than 15 on my list and am thinking of a part 2 :) I was trying to pick ones out this year or heard of this year.
😔 I wish some of these companies would make action rpgs as beautiful as those turned based ones. The art on some of those is amazing!
I agree! Image action RPGS looking like Octopath or Sea of Stars...epic!
This list needs to be retitled “Top Pixel Farming Games 2023”.

I'm definitely into farming and cozy games right now but I plan to do another list of some more rpg types soon.
Let’s not forget tails of mistria
Ooh I'm looking this up right now! Thanks for that.
Do we technically call Metroid fusion a pixel game??
I'm not familiar with this game but to me the old style graphics were all pixelated lol.
try space from the unbound
Oh this looks like an emotional one and looks really good. Thanks for that! I've added to my growing game backlog for sure lol.
no Chained Echoes? bruh...
I knooow LOL this came out in 2022 tho it's defo on my list to play. More lists to come :) Have you played it?
@@MiniSnackums Yes and it is excellent
CHAINED ECHOES !!!!!!!!!!
I keep hearing about this one, I'm definitely going to check it out :)

according to square, the story remain the same. oh no it's not
Oh no, rip lol. I'm playing through the first one right now on Steam. I never played the original so I can't attest to the differences.
