Hey man great videos! What are the symptoms for this ? I have a 2012 Cruze 1.4 we use it daily runs fine. Only think is the check engine light is on with p0016 code. You know what could be wrong ??
Sorry mybad, P0016 symptoms would be lack of power, maybe low oil pressure, clean or replace intake/exhaust oil Solenoid, chain maybe a little stretched
I found two 1 cm long black plastic pieces in my used oil after doing an oil change today and now I'm paranoid it's chunks of a timing chain guide. Is the black piece as likely to break as the one that broke in your video? Car seems to be running fine and no check engine light. I really don't want to tear mine apart but I'm also paranoid now that I could have major engine damage in my future.
What is the best way to change this training chain without special keys or tools and how to put back cams back again when I remove it can you explain to me bro I work as a mechanic as well I have 8 years experience bro and I wanna develop more I love this profession
Sorry my friend you need this special tool make the job easy. Do a search on RUclips ive seen some guys use home made equipment tools to lock the cam shafts together
interesting so the turbo has a chain not a belt. whats the recommended service interval on that then?
You should drop oil pan because all that debris will stop up the suction tube
Great video

P0116 is a cooling problem, does it over heat the engine? Are u leaking coolant on the floor?
@@jfGarage4k it’s p0016 not p0116

@@jfGarage4k it’s okay. I ready replaced both solenoids. With off brand ones. Do you think maybe timing is off ?
