Oh my God you are a f****** genius!!! I've been looking for all kinds of special pullers on Amazon tools different kinds of things to hook up to it to get it to stay in place so I could turn that bolt and you figure it out by just using the belt that goes on it unbelievable. Thank you so so much from the bottom of my heart they have been fighting this thing for a week to fix the crank seal that's leaking oil like a stuck pig and I thought I was going to have to pay a shop to do it even though I can't afford it and you just saved my bacon. Thank you sir
If u use a impact...u don't have to hold the crank pulley. Do do the job u need to remove the inner fender liner...and wheel on passenger side anyways.... Then u can get a impact to it.... with a 6 point socket 15mm
@@jfGarage4k id like to know the same since I'm on the fence about wether I want to do this myself or if I want to have it done. This looks like a hot mess
@@Josh-ks4lx yeah I’m in the same boat lol.. I’m going to try a tune up cos I don’t here no clinging and clanging but it just not running right it at 99500 k miles
Pulley keeps spinning Hmmm.. Are you trying to Install the crank pulley back in? Or your locking the Crankshaft to perform the timing chain replacement?
Is there a way to adjust the timing without marks? I took the chain out and my stupidity allowed me to turn the the sprocket s individually, which turned the cams. Now I have no idea where I am at. Call me an idiot because I am. 2015 Chev malibu 2.5
Turn the cams back, making sure the cams lubes are facing the side (intake and exhaust valves are close) and the cylinder one 1 on (tdc) top dead center
@@jfGarage4k What if both cams are not on the same stroke? I'm just asking, I don't know how it works. it's just what i read, that if they are not, it could do damage. Is this true? Appreciate your help. Thanks
@@jfGarage4k ruclips.net/video/GBcBrAuC7tI/видео.html . This is a small video of my cams. Do you think i'm 180 degrees off on the timing ? Thanks for the help.
What year and engine size is this engine? Can you show us the cam sprocket marks please. I know you mentioned Intake at 10 and exhaust at 2 just wanna double the mark's
You just saved the day sir, thank you so much for this video. I didn't know what I was gonna do. 🎉🎉🎉

The crankshaft pulley keeps spinning any ideas? It's oily because of the leak

@ so I ended up getting it out , had to use a extension to catch the pulley from spinning.
I was trying to remove the crankshaft bolt
Did you use a pulley remover to get the balancer out? Or was it just hand twisting it?
Comes off by hand
Hi i have the same engine A14NET in my Opel Astra just asking how many maximun miles may I do before to replace the chain ?
