Hey dude if you’re gonna say you like it or say you don’t like it the thumbnail and title should better represent it so the viewer knows they’re about to see a review that’s negative for the most part. For me I wanted a recap and I want to like the show but I still watched it because it was a quality recap so thank you but yea, there’s nothing wrong with going for a humorous negative review it just is a little touchy when it’s presented as a utility based recap rather than entertainment based review
As someone who loves LOTR and was cringing over most Rings of Power season 1, forgot most of it and was absolutely not willing to re-watch it, I laughed through this recap and really enjoyed it. Thank you!
The jabs get exhausting. I just wanted a somewhat in depth recap of the season so I can prepare for season 2. Sadly, the best one on YT apparently has to be a combination of a negative review
Yeah I completely agree with you to be honest Mitch. I did this one as a trial to see if a more sarcastic, sassy tone fits with the channel and it's definitely more of an acquired taste so none of the other videos have this included. Thank you for your comments, it's massively appreciated to produce better content over here! -Greg W
Thanks for the recap, but you could atleast narrate from a neutral perspective since some viewers like it and some don’t (by the things you said this would include you). I appreciate the work you did to make this anyways.
That's a fair point to be honest, I know this one is more controversial than the other recaps on the channel. It was an experiment to try a more sarcastic, humorous tone than a straightforward recap. Definitely won't be for everyone and I do completely agree about remaining neutral on the recap side, rather than the review. As always, that sort of feedback is really useful for improving the channel and the quality of our videos so thank you! -Greg W
I like your honest review and recap. I felt the same way on so many parts of the show bad dialogue and nonsensical plot lines - its really a 5/10 at best but ill still watch it
I'd suggest doing a seperate neutral recap, and a seperate review. People watching a recap do so because they want to watch season 2, which means they must have enjoyed season 1. The sarcasm is not really necessary, even though you're not wrong. But this is fantasy, not Star Trek.
Oh I wish I hadn't watched this, I've been intentially avoiding this show in refusal to give them any kind of viewership, But within the first 3:06 minutes you line out that Galadriel knows about and is hunting Sauron the servant of Morgoth and enemy of the Valar (whom by the way are suspiciously absent even though they were most responsible for creation of whatever this landmass is being called at this point in this retelling, we would be assuming its Arda) which is a far separation from what we were told about her leaving Valinor to strike out and begin her own regency, so Her mission is Sauron a lieutenant of Morgoth and she is going alone? and if Morgoth is defeated (so difficult to place the recreated events in the timeline) why are the Trees of Light standing and again I say where are the Valar? Thank you for your efforts and for uploading
@@neojng point being that popularity is a metric of merit? and I didn't think i was being edgy just voicing my frustration, how does this make you feel?
I strongly disagree. The dialogue in this show is wonderful. Sure some lines here and there is off, but 80% of it is great Plus the action, detail, sst designs, costumes and characters are won8 I personally loved s1

I really appreciate this recap prior to season 2!
great recap, thanks

Tug and war?? Brah, it’s tug of war!
Whining about realism in high fantasy genre is truly so silly
