My 23 Model S LR goes 0-60 in 3.1. My brain can barely handle that. This vehicle is by far the best car I’ve ever driven, even blows a Porsche away in driving experience. Tesla built a super car for the whole family.

Is that why "MilesPerHr" did a community post asking what car would u rather have a model s plaid, taycan turbo gt, or lucid air saphhire. Taycan got 88% of the votes. 😂 enjoy ur basic traffic. The plaid doesn't beat the taycan in any performance metric.

@@p3dtesla118 it's really not all that much better range wise when u consider how much tesla overstates their range meanwhile people with the taycan get more range then porsche claims. I'll give u the charger infrastructure but that's about it. Also with back seats and not the weisach package it's still faster then the plaid around track and from a dig and a roll. Nice review; however the price and range you reported are incorrect. The 359-mile range is only that high if you have the 19-inch wheels that come with the car. Those 21-inch wheels (upgrade) u have on that plaid decreased that number to around 320 miles. Price has dropped to around 90k before tax also. End of the day the car is a beast tho! My brother has the 2024 S LR. I opted to get the 2024 Tesla M3 LR RWD and paid half the price of this car. Plaid is so amazing! Well presented
The fact you can pick one of these up used with only 40k miles for $55k is the craziest thing about them. 1,000 Hp, 200 mph and more efficient then a Prius for like base v8 money. 😅
Come on, you said, “NO rear seat armrest.” It ACTUALLY has an armrest with 2-WIRELESS chargers, 2-cup holders and a very slim amount of storage space. 👀🧠
You can do that with a new m3 competition xdrive. Flash tune, half tank of e85, and downpipes and 9.49 as a matter of fact. That will cost $4k… or a $799 tuning box can get you high 9’s with E30.
@@HarryTwatter ignorance is bliss! Let me crush you right now! The m3 cs is faster on the world’s reference road course Nurburgring 12.9 mile full lap was 7’28” on street tires compared to 7’35” plaid on street tires. The plaid has to resort to special track tires and brakes (cost is $20k) to beat the street tire m3 cs and only by 3 seconds. Put track tires on the m3 cs and plaid gets smoked. Oh and unlike the plaid, which can only complete two laps without power loss/limp mode, no such problem for the M3 cs. Game over, you will lose at the track with a plaid. 🤣🤣 Now as far as the drag strip, let me know when a plaid runs 7.98 at 177 mph, because an m3 did just that. Of course, it will cost a lot of money but we’re talking 1,700 horsepower and well over 1,000 lbs less weight. If you’re gonna cry about the cost we do have M3’s with stock unopened engines running 8.56, still faster than any plaid in the world. You see, unfortunately any way you slice it an m3 can go faster than any plaid, because we can make far more horsepower and have far less weight. Game over. M3 is the faster platform. You lose. 🤣🤣🤣
@@y2tnb what part are you referring to? A new m3 competition xdrive is $85k USD. It will run 10’s bone stock. They are extremely undertuned and will gain anywhere from 150 to 220 WHEEL horsepower with nothing more than software and some e85 in the tank. Those mods alone will put in into the mid to high 9’s. If you’re willing to buy a new intake manifold and port injectors (they fit in the new manifold) you can push even more fuel and boost and run low 9’s (record is 9.11 with seats removed too). Those additional mods will get you close to 900 horsepower. All of these mods were done on a completely stock engine with stock turbos as well. The fact is if you want to consistently beat an s plaid on the strip with the passenger seats in, it will probably take a turbo upgrade. that will get you deep into the 8’s and you’ll want to rebuild the transmission at that point for durability. So, you can easily run with and beat a plaid on the drag strip if you’re willing to spend more $. But, I’ll be the first to admit, that will make the plaid more worth it to many people (don’t have to touch it, warranty etc), but a tuned m3 not only can run with a plaid on the strip it will absolutely kill a plaid on the track. This has already been proven when both cars are setup on the same tires. Think about it, even if you have a basic tune on an m3 you’re well over 800 horsepower and still weigh 800-900 lbs less. With that kind of power on the track, weight matters more and while the plaid carries a lot of that weight low, the m3 has nearly a perfect 50/50 weight distribution. Have a nice day!

And she tells me they always get upset when they hear how much they're paying, and argue saying they thought EV"s would be cheaper than gas cars lol. These ppl are the same ones that think they're saving the planet by owning EV's lol...
@@johnmacri7440Not in all states.
"Marshmallow White?" Yeah, I'm sure THAT will hold up well.
It will melt like a s’mores
It's the perfect color for a boring tesla. I like Hyundai's I5N in Performance Blue myself.
There is a CENTER button on top of that back seat that you are trying to pull down, lol...I have a 24 Model S Plaid. There is for sure an arm rest, with two more wireless charging pads in there too...along with more storage.
As other pointed out, if you review a car make sure you know what is has! Its a joke to just claim it don't have a arm rest....makes you look like a noob!
My 23 Model S LR goes 0-60 in 3.1. My brain can barely handle that. This vehicle is by far the best car I’ve ever driven, even blows a Porsche away in driving experience. Tesla built a super car for the whole family.
Got the same, 2023 LR. Love it. LR is more than fast enough for me. Had to buy a radar detector just to reduce any chance of getting pulled over.
Nice review. BTW--the Model S does have a rear center armrest complete with cup holders, storage and wireless chargers. You just need to press the button on the back of the center headrest to release it.
Looks like an impressive vehicle. I haven't warmed up to EVs yet, but this has my attention.
I would like to see the Sport Seats review on these.
I know the cloth is an ideal, but the cloth is actually the speaker cover grills. There's small speakers hidden behind them. They definitely could have used a nicer
This thing is a rocket
Plaid 5 to 10 times better then overpriced none practical Porsche taycan !!!
Correct
Is that why "MilesPerHr" did a community post asking what car would u rather have a model s plaid, taycan turbo gt, or lucid air saphhire. Taycan got 88% of the votes. 😂 enjoy ur basic traffic. The plaid doesn't beat the taycan in any performance metric.
@@G82Watts Yes is does beat taycan in every way and actions, come on man taycan is sucks overpriced not practical because there is no seats in the back that's horrible. Also car insurance you have to pay every month $975bux that stupid too much ! ! The Plaid only $ 330bux much better. Plaid you can charge everywhere it's easy and range much better then taycan !!
Watch "marcos mordorne welt turbo gt vs tesla plaid" thats using the taycan turbo gt without weisach package. Turbo gt crushes it.
@@G82Watts 300 miles Highway 350 city is good
The splitter looks amazing
one of my favorite cars on the market. love the model s
Love this car and setup.
i watched this for ON THROTTLE😂
Awesome review ❤
This Tesla is nice! I would drive this daily and enjoy it for sure. Great review as always.
It’s a beauty. 💯💯💯
If you're reading this and not a fan of EV's I encourage you to go to Tesla and do a test drive. They make it super easy and don't bother you. The torque in the performance models is incredibly fun
That is really nice of you to mention!
the arm rest in the rear does come down. the button is in the middle. It is quite nice. i have one.
Thanks for this been watching s8nce 2020, I'm curious about these like my motorcycle is it worth the buck it did but will a tesla entertain my curiosity and how reliable is customer service when it comes to issues and or simple question
Joe and Lori and Steve keep up the good work real true and I love the video 👍
You are the man!
1000 HP 😮😮😮 no way that’s insane
Ill like it more with model 3 highland design in a refresh model S!!
Simply love it.
That's a really nice car, it's a rocket ship. The best car ever.🚗🚗🚗
Porsche taycan ❤
I don’t think this is a 2024. They have new seats now. It’s also $89,990
Nice review; however the price and range you reported are incorrect.
Thanks for your great intel.
I love my 2024 Model Y (red with white interior).
Model S Plaid is a dream car but too small for my frame.
The fact you can pick one of these up used with only 40k miles for $55k is the craziest thing about them. 1,000 Hp, 200 mph and more efficient then a Prius for like base v8 money. 😅
Dream car right here. Tesla by far makes the best EV's and the only one I will buy in my option.
Im getting it soon still debating cause i wanted a corvette
The Lucid Sapphire is where it’s at ngl but for the price yes the Tesla is pretty dope!
Come on, you said, “NO rear seat armrest.” It ACTUALLY has an armrest with 2-WIRELESS chargers, 2-cup holders and a very slim amount of storage space. 👀🧠
9s car for 90k, hard to beat if you're into going fast
You can do that with a new m3 competition xdrive. Flash tune, half tank of e85, and downpipes and 9.49 as a matter of fact. That will cost $4k… or a $799 tuning box can get you high 9’s with E30.
@@Bimmer_Bill a plaid will absolutely stomp any M car lmao
Now as far as the drag strip, let me know when a plaid runs 7.98 at 177 mph, because an m3 did just that.
You lose. 🤣🤣🤣
@@Bimmer_Billholyyyyyy shit no way this is a real comment
Have a nice day!
plaid gets fob
i had 22 Plaid loved it@!
Fantastic car, I'll take it over any car at this price range.
There's a button on top of the center console that brings it down as an armrest
137k may have been during Covid but if you go on the website you can price one out under 100k pretty easily.
not a version with the new seats that have alcantara??
I’m not sittin at a Tesla charging station!
There IS a rear center arm rest. The release is at the top.
Definitely getting the beast
I’m sorry, but what is the splitter 😭✋
Quick with no genuine smile
That fromt kit is aftermarket I’m assuming
