You wouldn't believe how dirty you cabin filter is folks and don't forget the air you breath inside the car is what this filter helps stops getting inside. You're breathing in all that crap from the cabin filter when it's filthy. Did my 2002 car....jezus! And remember when you are ill or felt unwell many times...? Dirty particals and urrrg.....blame the filter.
Yeah it's something you don't often think of changing !
Good video BUT, I noticed that the sound insulation felt appeared to have two lower holes for fitting to the bodywork, these were not mentioned.
Good works.
Thanks ! :)
Thank you very much
You are welcome :)
Thank you very much.
You are welcome! :)
Great video. Do you know where to apply aircon disinfectant foam to clean up the Evaporator? I looked behind the cabin filter but not sure. Thanks.
Thanks. I don't know anything about AC units I'm afraid. Sorry
Can the sound deadening just be pulled down? How it it held in place lower down?
This one was just hanging down at the back. It might have originally been held in place with the same plastic rivets pressed upwards into the bulkhead, but I'm not 100% sure
@@screwsnutsandbolts so was mine, we have just bought a 308, cabin filter by the look of it has been changed in the last 12 month.
@@NikEastwood161 It's recommended that you change it every year but if it still looks clean and mostly white I'd leave it for another while.
Good
Thanks ! :)
it would be helpful to put What year Peugeot this applies to
2008 :)
Is there any chance of AC leak if that insulated thing is not put back properly? Just asking as I'm having loss of AC gas since I replaced it. The garage mechanic says that there is not radiator leak so couldn't find it himself.
Thanks
No it wouldn't be anything to do with the insulation being removed and replaced.
Did u ever get a squeaking noise before u chaged filter,?
No I didn't
