Thanks for the video. I bought russian piping tips a couple of years ago and have never used them. I decided to pull them out today for m 5 year old granddaughter to frost her mini cupcakes. It was really nice to show her how they would look. We had most of the ones you have in the video.

It works better with using a frosting spatula to "scoop" the flower off the tip and then apply it, in my experience
That's what I thought too.
Like the flowers seem to come out top part first so if you put them as is then the bottom part is what is seen on top of the cupcakes.
The "bottom" still looks good though 🤷♀️
