I am in the southern part of the United States. I mow at 5mm with a JD 180 E Hybrid. It is next to impossible to find a used greens verticutter. I know Toro makes a walk behind Verticutter, but it's like finding a unicorn, lol.
@@krismclanegolf I do core aerate once a year and do a heavy mason sand leveling which helps a lot but I need a verticuter for when PGR makes it too thick.
@@krismclanegolf no putting green. Most greens here are TiffEagle Bermuda or bentgrass. There are guys like me here in the US and Australia where we are just competitive to have the best lawn LOL.
It was done in February with a ground temp of roughly 7°. We have just gone in with a scarify 2 weeks ago,so can be done anytime of year if conditions are right 👍

What blades are they and what depth are u at here ?
Hi,we use thatch-away scarifying reels on a toro 3250 greens mower.
The depth was 10mm
What is the width of the blades used to dig the 10mm grooves?
About 2mm wide.
What time of year was this done may I ask and what was roughly the ground temperature??
