Thank you sir for making such incredibly interesting videos. I would whole heartedly like to donate to your work..you are one of the reasons why I've started to like biotechnology..and I request to you to keep on making videos as such in the future..
Thank you!
One thing: First Aid says IL-6 is secreted by macrophages (APCs) and causes fever and stimulated acute phase proteins. It's added into the mneumonic as the "K" in steak representing "aKute phase".
Did you reach a conclusion, I think it's better to follow first aid
wow, so smart! Really clever.
Also, IL-1 stimulates vasodilation, which further strengthenes your mnemonic of HOT, so local vasodilation would present with rubor and calor :D
Thank you
@@shomusbiologyofficial I got about interleukins in my immunology exam 😊 i had this video in mind!

very helpful, thank you;
I have an idea, I don´t know if it adds to this, but a way to remember the origin and closing of the pathway could be if we see it as a clock: clockwise, IL-12 is the 12th hour, also the zero hour (T0); "if you skip 12, you go right to 1 (IL-1), and then to 2 (Th-2);" finally plasma cell would produce the stop IL-10 (if you horizontally grab the stick that 1 in the number 10 is, and put it inside the circle that the zero is, you have the stop sign.
So useful! Thank you
Wow... That's was exactly where I had been struggling to remember... Thanks a lot!!
+Kankana Banerjee glad it helped

شكراً يا صديقي
thank you my friend
You're welcome
There is a major misleading here: IL-10 is primarily produced by monocytes and, to a lesser extent, lymphocytes, namely type-II T helper cells (TH2), mast cells and in a certain subset of activated T cells and B cells. This video makes you think that IL-10 is mainly secreted by plasma cells which is a huge mistake. This may not seem much but it cost me a question at my last test.
Amazing, this was just amazing Sir.
Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts
