I got call from fedx saying that there is some parcel going to iran that used my number as second number. The parcel contains 2-3 passport, credit card, cloths and drug (I forgot the name). Initially I believed cuz it was first time I got such call, main reason to believe was that first I got recorded message then I clicked 1 and call was transferred to some representative. After talking to first guy, he transferred call to fake crime branch officer, who asked me did I booked hotel somewhere and all. I didn't book hotel anywhere so I say no, after few more questions he said he will call after an hour, but I never got another call. I tried calling on the number from which they called, it was number of some other person. I searched internet and then realised it was scam. Awareness is very important against such scammers as they find new ways to scam people.

Illegal activities horhe hai.. complaint raise hua hai..islliye..i said ok fyn mein khud jakey baat krlungi cyber crime waise jaise boli foh disconnected the call n even i have recorded the call
He is a Pakistani Scammer - 1. He said baahir (Urdu touch) instead of bahaar. 2. He didn't get the assi (80) in the first attempt. 3. His lines and accents are more into punjabi Urdu... That is generally spoken in Punjab region of Pak. (Around Lahore)

Aaj bade bade businesses se paisa election ke liye le rahe hai, or system m aane ke baad unke protectionist kanon banati hai. Or yeh companies janta ko lootati hai or sarkar bhi lootati hai tax or common citizen ko service bhi nahi deti or police bhi gaali deti hai. Sabhi mai aam admi marta hai
I also got the call but I did not press any button to talk to customer care because I know It will be a scam call and I don't wanted to waste my time but As a Youthber you did great job for awaring people.
I also received 1 scam call saying "Do you own SBI credit card? Your ekyc is failed" but I was in my office so I just said ok I'll visit my nearest SBI bank branch, after listening this he started abusing... 😊

I got the similar call, they asked me to visit Mumbai branch for FIR. 😂 They even told me FIR number and address, these people are getting real good at this.

A similar thing happened to me where I got a call regarding an undelivered package from indian post. They informed that a package was to be delivered to Dubai on my behalf and some illegal stuff was found in it. Now it was clear that it's a scam. It's funny to hear something like digital arrest. Guess the police is working from home now 😂

I get many such calls, mostly they are recognised as "International Call" with some foreign number and an automated message "This is Telecom Regulatory Authority of India... press 6", but even if you press any number, someone will come on the line and tell you that your phonelines will be disconnected as phone is involved in "illegal activity". There is no filtering there. But they have all your info like including phone numbers registered on that persons name.
I was also received the call in past 3 months I am from West Bengal and the scammers told me that an another phone number was issued by my name using my Aadhar in Andheri Mumbai. They told me that I have to report in Andheri police station by 30 minutes. I told them how can I then he told me that we have arranged a video call on behalf of me to the police station, then I told the telecaller person that which department are you form? He told me that he is calling from telecom department of India, then he tried to know my all details. I told them that you are from telecom department you have my all of document as KYC so why should I give you my details then the call was disconnected till now😂😂😂

Wow, 2 weeks back I received this exact similar call with same script, word to word. I was doing WFH so spoke with them for more than 30 mins, played along for long time and when the fake police started yelling at me, scolded them left and right top to bottom then scammer kept quite and gave to some other person and that person openly agreed saying bro bro, don't shout at us, we are just doing our work, he admitted using VoIP for these calls and finally said he has to call others as well and disconnected.
Today I also got the same call😅 And I was make fun of them while talking, though I have already watched your video it was very fun for me to talking to them.😅 But unfortunately call got hanged up in 1.30 min only.
One day, my father received a call on whatsapp claiming that my sister was in police custody, and that we would need to pay ₹70,000 to have the case dropped. Else this will be published in tomorrow's paper with photos. Being a heart patient, my father immediately broke into a cold sweat upon hearing the news. Fortunately, people around him quickly made him aware of the situation, and, to our relief, my sister was able to respond to the call right away. I get many such calls, mostly they are recognised as "International Call" with some foreign number and an automated message "This is Telecom Regulatory Authority of India... press 6", but even if you press any number, someone will come on the line and tell you that your phonelines will be disconnected as phone is involved in "illegal activity". There is no filtering there. But they have all your info like including phone numbers registered on that persons name.
I got same calls but 2 times and thanks for further clarification now will be aware about these scammers

I was also received the call in past 3 months I am from West Bengal and the scammers told me that an another phone number was issued by my name using my Aadhar in Andheri Mumbai. They told me that I have to report in Andheri police station by 30 minutes. I told them how can I then he told me that we have arranged a video call on behalf of me to the police station, then I told the telecaller person that which department are you form? He told me that he is calling from telecom department of India, then he tried to know my all details. I told them that you are from telecom department you have my all of document as KYC so why should I give you my details then the call was disconnected till now😂😂😂

@@ar34567 এরপর আর কি যখন আমার নাম আমার এড্রেস টেলিকম ডিপার্টমেন্ট এর নাম করে ভেরিফাই করার জন্য উনারা জোর দিতে থাকেন, তখন আমি বলি আপনাদের কাছে আমার কেওয়াইসি আছে আপনারা আমার সব ডিটেলস জানেন সুতরাং আমাকে বলে ভেরিফাই করার তো কোনো মানে হয় না। তখন আমি এই টুকুতেই রাজি হই যে আপনি আমার নাম বলুন আমি আমার সারনেম বলবো। তারপর এই ভিডিওতে বলার মত প্রথম কলিং ফিল্টারেশন এ আমি বাদ হয়ে যাই এবং এবং আমি কলকাতা পুলিশের সাইবার ক্রাইম ডিপার্টমেন্টে কল করে পুরো বিষয়টা জানাই তারা আমাকে বলেন আপনি কি এরকম কাজের সঙ্গে যুক্ত আছেন আমি যথারীতি বলি না সুতরাং তারা আমাকে এইটুকু বিষয়ে আশ্বস্ত করে যে আপনি যখন যুক্ত নেই অযথা এই সকল কলে ভয় পাবেন না। এইভাবে আমি স্ক্যাম থেকে বাঁচি এবং আমার বন্ধুদের কেউ একই বিষয়ে সতর্ক থাকতে বলি আমার কাছেও সম্পূর্ণ কল রেকর্ডিং টা আছে।

Wow, 2 weeks back I received this exact similar call with same script, word to word. I was doing WFH so spoke with them for more than 30 mins, played along for long time and when the fake police started yelling at me, scolded them left and right top to bottom then scammer kept quite and gave to some other person and that person openly agreed saying bro bro, don't shout at us, we are just doing our work, he admitted using VoIP for these calls and finally said he has to call others as well and disconnected.

One day, my father received a call on whatsapp claiming that my sister was in police custody, and that we would need to pay ₹70,000 to have the case dropped. Else this will be published in tomorrow's paper with photos. Being a heart patient, my father immediately broke into a cold sweat upon hearing the news. Fortunately, people around him quickly made him aware of the situation, and, to our relief, my sister was able to respond to the call right away. Thank you for spreading awareness about such incidents.
