This is a wonderful example of religion in practice and is should be what christianity is all about, helping people and saving those in terrible conditions. My Respect and prayers.

      Amen.
(James 2:15-17): If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

Grace certainly lives up to her name. She appears to be a quite shy & nervous person whilst being as solid as a rock when it comes to her faith & charity as well as recognising her limits. God decides. She's an example to us all. Her narrative & indeed the conversation in general with Matt really brought home to me the concept of redemption for both the trafiqued women & children (who are but victims) but also for the evil perpetrators which was a real eye opener to me (I'm a cathechumen so still learning about Catholicism). It was also a very good idea to try to limit the emotional aspect of this horrific abuse as it makes it easier to consider rational & useful ways to combat it, as Grace & her team is doing. The Children of the Immaculate Heart will be in my prayers. God bless you Grace & of course you too Matt.

I'm 39, married, and have been waiting to enter the church for about 18 months. I'm so.... so ready for the sacraments after crossing my arms in Mass for so long. I still struggle very hard with lust. However, with the grace of God, I will never give up pursuing chastity. I was raised Methodist, but I don't think I was ever Protestant. I was just ignorant on a few things. It was a Protestant minister who motivated me to seek the truth more fervently though. Old school protestants tend to be more... emotionally forceful, which is the only thing I still appreciate about some of the old preachers I used to listen to.

She is such a beautiful soul! The stories of the saints are so enriching. I love seeing Catholics nerd out! As a mother of a baby daughter my heart is just broken for these women. I’m so glad they are getting help and are given hope. Gods mercy is infinite and it is so good to see a ministry highlighting that. God bless you all!

5:28pm, Saturday 19th day in May, 2023 that I am viewing this video entirely for the first time. Such a fantastic interview and discussion. I am a fan of Children of the Immaculate Heart and have followed them on Facebook from early days that Grace Williams Lionelli first commenced her foray into providing of support for sexually trafficked children in California USA. I have been so interested to see the progress of this for a few years now, since 2016/17. Roughly around that time to now and finally Grace settling down to married life. Then finally now listening and viewing this livestream video - wonderful. Thankyou Jesus. Amen ✝️💟✡️💟🕎🙏😇🌺🥀🌹

Thank you for sharing this. We have to be honest, our general engagements with Catholicism (especially the more traditional variety) can leave us very disheartened/frustrated given the negativity that is so prevalent in the community sparring from recent developments around Pope Francis, yet this is a great episode that emphasizes hope, humility, and redemption, and how it is possible for Catholicism to play a role in that. Though the subject matter is dark, we appreciate you sharing this much-needed work.

I never thought about this until this interview, but this is like trying to free a child of God, from the grip of the devil, when this child is convinced that God would no longer want her/him, and a sort of Stockholm situation is set up with the devil.
At least until they do get pregnant, and have a baby. Then they think "I might be dammed, but I'll be dammed, if you get my daughter!
God bless these people doing this work. I would be more like Matt, wanting to punch them in the face!
Prayer truly needs to be on the front lines!

The state dint care , the state didnt pardon him and gave him the death sentence anyways ,lethal ejention wow what a story .
His prayer of his last words
    was a hail mary .
🙂 People can change no matter what .
People need to talk about this stories of our days .....Saints under our noses.

I also have read Joan of Arc by Mark Twain! Hard start with language /phrasing differences, but that disappeared as I read.

Perhaps I’m bitter; but I started listening to this episode through the podcast app and thought that she sounded insincere given the light -tonality of her voice when speaking on such serious matters.
Am I right to voice this criticism in light of the fact of my own deep inadequacy?
God bless her for her work and calling in Christ.

I think if she laughed and smiled less while discussing a horrific topic she could be more effective and appear less flippant. It seemed she was very anxious. I appreciated Matt remaining appropriately serious and non-jokey during the interview.

    Love your show Matt.
Your guest quoted Cardinal Newman as having said, “To learn history is to cease to be Protestant.” Interesting. I would counter that Christians who read and study their Bibles, particularly the New Testament, cease to be neither Catholic or Protestant. They are simply Christian - followers of Jesus Christ.
Christians need to stop with the spiritual pride and divisiveness. Satan benefits from that, not God’s Kingdom. Especially in these dark days, Christians need unity. We are called to be the light of the world, so let’s light it up.💫🌎🌟
    God Bless.🙏🏽❤️
