      Humans are (HOMO)SAPIENS meaning human being. Human (SEXUALITY) is the way people experience and express themselves sexually. So Homosexuality is in truth is nothing more than human sexual experience and expression. That is not limited to just referring to gay people. All humans are Homosexual.

    This is excellent. Love first. Truth with compassion. Accompaniment. I liked you cannot deliver truth without love nor deliver love without truth. Thank you. I struggled mightily with heterosexual sin in my teens and twenties but God does heal. I had a priest who understood addiction hear my confessions and accompany me with insightful spiritual direction. He saved my life. I literally thought the only way to stop sinning was death. I used to have the God is a Cop mentality. That is not the God of Scripture. I have only in the last several years understood and internalized the Father's love. I call him Papa. I believe in Jesus love wholeheartedly. I call him Merciful Rescuer, Healer of my Soul. The Holy Spirit is Divine Insight, Breath of Fortitude and he has obviously given you both.

    Soooooo much wisdom in this talk! Kim gets more insightful every time I hear her. And she is so right that we cannot give what we do not have.
    Some additional thoughts that may help some in their journey...in no particular order.....
    Love is NOT an emotion, it is a verb..."to will the good of another". Once you understand the proper definition of that word, everything in her message becomes abundantly clear.
    Also, I once heard Father Mike talking about Adam and Eve hiding from God after they had eaten the forbidden fruit. He imitated what God likely sounded like as He was searching for them. It was as a heartbroken Father looking for his frightened children rather than an angry cop looking for criminals. That insight was lifechanging for me!
    God calls us to be childlike, remember? I think that means we are called to trust in His "house rules" just as young children do who depend completely on their parents because He, alone, can see the entire big picture of what's really best for all of us in the long run.

    Thank you for categorizing this properly. Instead of comparing homosexuality in the same box as those who are disabled and who experience racism. Rather in the same category as the rest of the disorders out there. I myself suffer with an eating disorder. Everyday is a struggle. I see my body as 300lbs sometimes. I know it's crazy but I am working on it and fighting against the inclinations to sin within that disorder. Thank you my sister in Christ!

      Right, they are just ‘sick’ like drug addicts and alcoholics. Maybe we should try to get the medical profession to repatholize them like the did in the 1950’s.

    When you're thinking about returning to Catholicism and stumble on videos that have to be titled 'how to love' members of the lgbtq+ community (as if that would be a hard thing to do) and you remember why you left 😆 That and hearing the words again calling same-sex attraction 'disordered' and a 'condition.' I'm wondering how many Catholic have sat down with a gay friend and said, 'Why do these words hurt you?'

    Personal observation: what makes *me* choose Him: standards of how to live right, simple as that. Or, in another way to put it: Do I really want to be an abuser in a lifestyle for all eternity of mutual abuse? I mightn't even mind that much being abused, emotionally, but abusing *others* is by now so contrary to my personal goals that it is an absolute no-no, and turn-off; especially the *sicker* kinds of abuse at that.

    Perhaps somewhat surprisingly given what spills out from the magisterium/catechism there is no demand/requirement by the Catholic Church for life-long celibacy so if you already have a loving relationship then there’s no need to beat your chest over it and if you don’t then ask/pray for one and enjoy and just focus on that! Take care. Peace🙏🏾

    Saint Matthew 7:1-6
    Stop judging, that you may not be judged.
    For as you judge, so will you be judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you.
    Why do you notice the splinter in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own eye?
    How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove that splinter from your eye,’ while the wooden beam is in your eye?
    You hypocrite, remove the wooden beam from your eye first; then you will see clearly to remove the splinter from your brother’s eye.

    NO MAN CAN SERVE TWO MASTERS. THOSE WHO IDENTIFY AS GAY OR TRANSGENDER ARE CHOOSING THEIR OWN LUSTFUL DESIRES OF THE FLESH (MATTHEW 6:24). TO BE A CHRISTIAN IS TO DENY OURSELVES, PICK UP THE CROSS DAILY, AND FOLLOW CHRIST (LUKE 9:23). YOU CANNOT BE BOTH.
    "FOR ALL THAT IS IN THE WORLD, THE LUST OF THE FLESH, AND THE LUST OF THE EYES, AND THE PRIDE OF LIFE, IS NOT OF THE FATHER, BUT IS OF THE WORLD" (1 JOHN 2:16) AND ANYONE WHO IS A FRIEND OF THE WORLD BECOMES AN ENEMY OF GOD (JAMES 4:4).

  • @MPFXT
    @MPFXT Год назад +1

    THE FIRST STEP OF WISDOM IS FEAR OF THE LORD. I'm sorry, I think there is an opposite problem than the message of this talk. What people outside of the Church say about the Church is not the reality - the real question - why does the Church hate people who hate the practice of homosexuality? Why is the inclination to pounce on someone as a homophobe - no matter how wrong that accusation may be - if a man forthrightly proclaims what Jesus, St Paul and traditionally the Church has perenially proclaimed with regard to the sinful practice of homosexuality. Why did Pope Francis appoint Cardinal Hollerich who openly promotes a change in Church teaching on homosexuality, to be in charge of the Synod on Synodality for the Church universally? Why is Pope Francis supporting "Fr" James Martin's LGBQT Conference at Fordham University that promotes a change in teaching about homosexuality. Why only a couple days ago was there a very prominently public homosexualist dancing without his shirt on before groups of children in St Peter's Square for a Church-sponsored event with Cardinals,, bishops and priests on stage after the opening hymn of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"?!?!?!?
    My focus is on JESUS and therefore my focus is on the poor - like victims of sexual abuse that embrace homosexual relationships - and it's not getting any better by wearing rainbow flags and overly sympathetic to active homosexuality and avoiding the truth about homosexuality or any other sexual sin. Victims of sexual abuse are now being raped by the Church intellectually. WHY DO PEOPLE WHO SUPPOSEDLY ARE CATHOLIC LEADERS IGNORE THESE SCANDALS FROM THE POPE, CARDINALS, BISHOPS AND PRIESTS. JESUS CONDEMNS SIN - THAT'S PART OF HOW HE LOVES US SINNERS. WHEN HE STARTED HIS MINISTRY - IT WAS PREFACED BY ST JOHN THE BAPTIST WITH REPENTANCE, AND THAT WAS ALSO JESUS' MESSAGE TO REPENT.

    Here's why your argument is in fact very weak, Kim. Lucifer will *never* accuse you of your sins; on the contrary, it will *praise* you for your sins; as profoundly messed-up as that is. Here's why: it finds sinful activities to be enjoyable- it is *that* abusive at least. And it won't ever accuse you of your sins, or call you by them; precisely because it wants your sins to remain semi-hidden within you, as pirates would be, or gangsters, as that way they can do the most damage... contrarialy, Christ will accuse you of your sins; for that way you wake up to what you've been doing wrong as a human being, effectively sounding a klaxon to bring you to alert to the danger you're really in.
    You may well be His kid, but by no means does that ever mean He's going to be permissive; quite the contrary: there're things He won't *ever* permit- a loving parent will not hesitate to ground their child, or even to have said child *arrested* if warranted by the misconduct of the child- and as the child becomes an adult, their misconduct gets far worse; take it from me if in doubt... there're things I don't need to reveal that chill my blood that I've foolishly in the extreme chosen to do- and I hate my sins to the core of my being; truly hate myself for that idiotic misconduct at that- for the sins *are* from me that were committed by me- and that is me taking ownership of my sins.

    • @chissstardestroyer
      @chissstardestroyer Год назад

      @@bman5257And that, my neighbor, is one of the heretical stances; as the devil doesn't *accuse* you of your sins; nay; that'd be to *liberate* you from them, as sounding a klaxon would alert you to the danger; nay, it will *praise* you for your sins; as that in and of itself is the level of evil... and any other portrayal of it is far too deceptively charitable to be safe.

    • @chissstardestroyer
      @chissstardestroyer Год назад

      @@bman5257 The heresy involved is the idea that the evil one will accuse you of your sins; that runs contrary to its objectives: it will *praise* you for your sins; as that is by far the most evil thing anybody can possibly do... and any magisterial stances contrary to that must be therefore heretical, as they run diametrically contrary to any and all odds of salvation.
      Same heresy on the magisterium's part with the stance of the devil being a prosecuting attorney; as that would logically mean that God's either incompetent; or wicked- either way is a blatant falsehood; and no stance to the contrary will ever be truthful, as any such stance runs contrary to salvation.
      He who stands up to you and/or accuses you of your sins is sounding a klaxon about your defenses being in danger of collapse; that in and of itself works completely contrary to the devil's expressed goals; and no way is that evil seraphim any kind of agent of God- no matter what, any magisterial statements that would or even *could* say that kind of stance are heretical as they would put the devil as a "good" being- nothing worthwhile can possibly come out of that, so no: any dogmatic statements that'd make the blatantly heretical claim of the evil one being an accuser are therefore completely heretical in and of themselves by definition.
