Thank you Joost and Ernst and other young Afrikaner leaders for what you are doing for the survival of the Afrikaner culture, by showing us the way forward how to adapt to our new challenging environment and for striving to live in peace with our neighbours at the same time. Always keep faith and never lose hope.
Ongelukkig onbekostigbaar vir die meerderheid van ons mense.
Good to see Ernst rocking the moustache. Very Celtic looking. Good discussion here.
Dankie vir die Afrikaans Ernst !!
I have total respect for these guys. Your experience with Legacy Media is standard... the British media are generally arrogant, opinionated and prejudiced.
If this is the foundation of the belief - Build away gents. May God bless the work of your hands
I really enjoyed this podcast and am so impressed with the progress being made in Orania - Will most definitely visit some day! Well done, I believe this model will work for various other tribes and communities in many countries. It is really important to maintain ones culture, beliefs and language.
Great stream gents! Unfortunately I missed it live, I hope to catch the next one! 👍
I always comment on all British and American channels about Orania. Baie trots op die Afrikaners wat n toekoms vir hulle kinders nou. Mag die Here sy hand oor julle hou.
It took me a while before I realized that Orania was a smart city.
Great to listen to good news from Orania!
36:30 - Regarding this frequent question from Americans about government attention. This is overblown in America and mostly a way to stop us from going out and meeting our friends out of fear. It is no way to live. It is changing as time moves forward over here.
Ons trek Orania toe!!
The Dutch East India Company moved more goods and people around the globe than all their competitors combined.
Their closest rival, the British East India Company moved roughly a third of that.
The 'VOC' is now considered by UNESCO to be one of three company's that changed the world irreversably. They kickstarted globalisation, although only in the sense of trade.
The big difference between them and their main competitor, the British, was that the Dutch were dealers in goods. Land to them were never considered as an extension of the homeland, but as convenient trade posts or supply depots on the way there.
The Cape was such a supply depot which they gave up far to easy, to my liking.
We, the Afrikaners were their left behinders. This loose relationship with our Dutch and European background led to our naturalisation, to become a people in our own right, to become a 'volk' in Africa.
British attempts to force their way and will upon us, only made us more aware of us as a 'volk' in our own right. Africanisation nowadays, is reinforcing it in us.
This is the driving force - in my mind - behind Orania.
a Driving force which strives to protect us from the decay and corruption of a new world order where power and control tends to end up in the hands of a imperialistic dictatorial few.
Orania is the Afrikaner volkstaat... Afrikaners needs to concentrate and Orania is perfect 👌... It has massive potential for growth aswell and the nearest towns are dying as young people flee to Uraban centres...
Hi, CC. I'm sorry if i might irritate you with this question that i have repeated over the past couple episodes but haven't got any response. But apparently the ANC has agreed to recognize Orania. Do you think this is the beginning of the formation of a Volkstaat?
Julle doen goed... en dit is wonderlik om te sien hoe julle in volwassenheid groei.
Jul eerlikheid is kosbaar.
Doet so voort.
I have two questions:
• what if a couple wants to move there and one person is Afrikaans but the other is not, will they let that couple join?
• what if someone wants to live there but they're mixed ? For example their mom is Afrikaans but their dad is German... would they be let in?
⭐️
Great conversation. Obviously Orania is all about rolling up your sleeves, however I like the term, “work hard, play hard.” Can you please ask Joost next time, what is everyone’s favourite sports game in Orania (e.g. do they have a football league)?
Rugby, without a doubt.
Visited last November & really enjoyed the place ..... just so expensive to relocate to or buy a erf / stand .... almost Cape Town prices !!!!
You didn't ask him the most important question... do they support the Springboks 😅
What about the Malema visit to Orania
Does Orania have enough water resources to sustain continued growth?
It is located on the banks of the Orange River.
Would you like to move to Orania, Ernst?
Passop vir Penuel......
😂😂
I think that no one will give you anything .
As the Italians say ..forza Oranians.
See you soon.😁😁
Good luck guys. V impressive. Are white Christian English speaking South Africans welcome? 3 of my 4 grandparents are Afrikaners.
Only Afrikaners can live in Orania. Anyone can visit, though.
Nobody's going to stop you to learn our lovely language.
Ek dog dis oom Oubaas met daai snor😂
As a white Afrikaans person in South Africa, I find Orania very strange. Obviously we all are trying our best in this country (all races are), but having one small little community of Afrikaners clustered together is not exactly a solution.
It is sustainable only while South Africa trades with Orania - it is not as if they have any ports available... 101 mistake... I don't think this 'solution?' is practical.
I do understand the plight of Afrikaners, obviously, but Orania is way too extreme.
Orania, the new Israel
The international resonance of the Orania experience stems from the fact that it shamelessly reveals the political dilemma that has haunted the West for two millennia. Which model of community is more suitable for a Christian society: the tribe or the city, denatured democracy or tribal barbarism? Now, in the 21st century, this political question is being posed in particularly painful terms in Europe, where Mohammedan clanism is poised to overthrow secular liberal democracy.
And yet, if we remember correctly, Clisthenes' approach did not aim to metamorphose Man from a reasonable animal into an incarnate angel, as the contractualist theory of democratic liberalism implies, but consisted solely in curbing the excesses of tribalism, by replacing genetic identity with geographical location as a condition of citizenship. In this respect, the West can find no serious fault with the Orania movement.
However, Capitalism, of which Communism is merely the banal counterpoint, has always promoted the denaturation of civic relations, replacing them with the commodification of all social relations in monetary form. To this end, it has never ceased to invoke the great principles of liberal and secular democracy, when for it it was above all a question of concretizing, even sacralizing, the division of labor politically, with the aim of ensuring its definitive domination, as indicated in the seventeenth article of the 1789 Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen.
Thus, to the baptismal equality of the Christians, capitalism has responded with the dialectical conflict between Capital and the proletariat, in the form of wage-labour, on the pretext of promoting freedom. But while destitution may give the illusion of liberation, it cannot free us from the necessities of life. As a result, the West, deceived by the sirens of license, has passed from the yoke of the Church to the inhuman slavery of Money.
In the face of catastrophe, Orania stands as a bulwark of civilization, reactivating the founding principles of the West: Christianity, ethnicity and linguistic unity. Admittedly, one might legitimately question the relevance of using the Canons of Dordrecht in place of the Church's only proven password, the original Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed (381), as a sufficient marker of Christian identity. Nevertheless, it's a safe bet that the success of the Oranian project, as a moderation of the degeneration induced by the capitalist standardization of citizens, if it ever comes to pass, will upset the authorities who sanctioned the creation of the first officially ethnic, internationally-recognized, state in 1948...
Communism is a house a cards for those who have plans with the money of others. The world can not function without it. It is the only true incentive for human peace and interaction. That’s why communism fails everytime
😂😂Damn bro you dropped bars but take a break from Dan Brown and go play with your dog or something. Like sincerely, I feel like you burnt out grinding info my brother.

Lol. Ernst ,werk so 'n bietjie met daardie snor, knip hom of gee hom so 'n opwaartse twirl . Ek self het op 'n slag so 'n eiesinnige styl snor en baard uitgeprobeer totdat iemand grappenderwys opgemerk het dat ek soos Mephistofoles lyk!. Nouja sommige style pas iemand se gesig en ander nie. Triage was a brilliant metaphor. It’s a matter of ethnic separatism vs empire revanchism. There’s an argument for both, but in these turbulent times our people need to distance ourselves from everybody else and let natural selection work its magic…then the matter can be revisited in a few generations after the dust has settled. .
