I AGREE 100%! if I was stuck with ONE saw...372.. HANDS DOWN!! And yeah I try to tell people when they bring my some "wacked" up foam can sticking right up through that BEAUTIFUL top cover...I say " I'm not the man to work on your saws...I've seen all I needed to see!" Just a HUGE PET PEAVE of mine!! I've had a passion for power saws going on 48 years!! And I know you're THE MAN and your Dad...LOVE when you do a video of you and Him hanging out!! Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge my friend...and keepem' coming!!
You can't go wrong with those 2 Husky models. My favorites as welI!! I've always felt that the 346 out of the box ran like a ported saw. By the way, Donny, orange suits you well!💪

@@donnywalker4691 what do you think of the Stihl MS 261c? I’ve had mine a little over five years now and I’ve had absolutely no problem with it! Last year it had to go into the dealer for tuneup, but that’s it!
@@donnywalker4691 we’ve had Husqvarna before if I remember correctly, we’ve had two of them and those are great saws! But I am partial to Stihl because that is the first chainsaw I really used. My dad taught me how to use a chainsaw on this 261 that we have until we got it. We’ve had bad luck chainsaws absolutely no problems at all since we got it.! When we got it, it was about $600 brand new who knows how much it is now for the exact same saw!
Great video ❤ great saws great work.I love all power saws but those echoes are unique any thoughts on cs 4510 it's off the shelf since December 2019 and I just love this thing found an old 18 inch craftsman bar off an old 55cc incredi-pull that's lighter than 18 inch that came with it.Just seems to keep gaining power if it was lighter it would b my climbing saw.Stay safe.
Great saws, I have 1998 371 XP, three 372 XP's and one 372 XPG that I bought new between 02 and 05 and they're still kicking, I've ran other saws and as good the 90/91 and 94/95's are they were just a little too much saw for my neck of the woods but I might have to grab the next one I come across anyway before they dissappear.
I don't see any white plastic on Donnie's two favorite saws within their class. Still the OG "pre RUclips clicks" saw guy. Thanks and keep em' coming, Donnie! I love all the suck ups who always call him Mr.- not only does he work for a living, but he is Donnie Fkn Walker and that is way more respectful than calling him a Mr.
Around where I live stihl is king. Wish husqvarna was represented a little more around here. There’s a few guys that run makita saws and echo is gaining traction in this area. Heard the 7310 is really close to a 372xp. I’d definitely LOVE to try an original 372xp and now I really really want to try a 592xp. Most husqvarna saws around here are the homeowner line
346xp was very common saw at professional logging here In Finland and meny loggers like it is the best saw from husqvarna. The 50cc class is most popular here in our country and pro loggers like that class saws for the weight and power for the tree size that we have here. That 346 sounds awesome and power seems nice too.😎👍
for power, balance, comfort and weight, I like my 555 autotune. good all around saw with high rpm’s. a tank of fuel gets me a full pickupload of firewood

I REALLY wish that having to swap out dirty air filters was the bane if my existence!! Hey Donnie I'm not sure if you will see this but I was wondering if you have ever seen a piston top that looks like wrinkles in aluminum foil. My 550xp mark 2 only has maybe 2 or 3 hours total on it and I looked in the spark plug hole and saw the piston looked strange. I then pulled the muffler to get a better look. The piston top looks exactly like wrinkled up aluminum foil and I'm worried about even starting it now. It runs faster than any saw I ever had but I'm not gonna run it again until I can get this figured out cause I'm afraid it might be having a melt down
Hey Donny, both them saws run great! Quick question for you. I picked up a 395xp walkerized by you (saw year is a 2012) and it’s only had a few tanks of fuel ran through it. It’s super impressive and runs so well. The exhaust gasket cracked on it and I ordered a new one. The new one I was sent is just a small oval style and the one on the saw was more of a bigger flat shield. Is it okay to run the new smaller one or should I replace it with that original bigger plate one? Keep up the good work 👍🏻
I consider myself a “Stihl” guy but I do own a 372 and maybe someday I will have to check out a 346. Thanks for the video Donny.

Gotta say I love a ported 572 and 550xp mark II but I'd definitely try out those you're running there
