Donny thanks for the insight into the shihl 462 as I am looking at buying one in the future when I move back to South Australia 🇦🇺 Johno Darwin NT Australia 🇦🇺 👍
Saw this video caption almost thought you were working on my saw and i got so excited… But it wasn’t. Thanks for the insight on the saw really appreciate your videos
Still haven’t gotten the chance to run a 462 or even the Alaska 362 you built me last winter. Shame as I’d like to see how they compare to the old 044’s and 34 supers I’m still running. They just keep on going and going if taken care of. 👍🏼
The value I get from this channel is immense.
Thanks
Thank you Donny, we all appreciate you!!
Awesome Donny, I run a 462 all day and it's a great saw! Keep up the great work, hope you're feeling better.
Fantastic review Donnie👍🏻 I’ve always appreciated you not being biased with brand. There’s good and bad in in ever saw😁
Donny..... I am beyond delighted with the adjustable carb 462 that you Walkerized for me a while ago. One smoooooth beast! 💪💪💪
Thanks John first day of fall today have a great day

I grew up in the Adirondacks in upstate NY. I've seen it dip to -34 below zero before. That's a bit nippy.
Then you need a heated saw eh🪵👍
Interesting a longer piston skirt on the 500 i
That 462 is hard to beat!
@@batmantiss i run a ported 462, great saw!
Thanks buddy
Great stuff as always, thanks man😁
Good tips 👍👍😎
I’ve been impressed how the 70cc Stihl 462 feels lighter than my 60cc Husky 562 (running the same bars)
Honestly I think it’s a better saw than the 572
Professional homeowner here, love my 462. Mine is an early model before the piston change. No trouble with it so far. 28" bar Killin machine.
462 is the best saw for climbing when the 201 gets sent down
What oil and fuel are we running?
@@DanDanRyan non-e fuel and Schaeffer's oil at 45:1 everyday all day!
25:1
Darn. I was going to buy the 462 but bought the 500i. But oh well. My 500i works awesome. So far anyway
Anyone have the Stihl part number on the plug for the decompression hole?

Has anyone ever tried to design a diesel powersaw ?
It has been done. Check out the chainsaw museum near Grand Forks B.C. They have one.
Jonsered in the 50s
Still ? Your spell checker play games with you too 😅
I wonder if this man can rebuild a mac 250 from the united states?
Stihl not the same, after production moved to China
@13:10 Donny says it. Have a 462 with around 1000 hours.
