One hell of a way to open a concert and introduce 82,000+ people to the Goddess. They started, she came out and grabbed everyone by the throat and didn't let go until the end. And no, she's not single. She's married to the drummer of Sabaton (Hannes van Dahl) and they have 2 daughters.
She needed no introduction…note the huge roar of applause she got when she walked out onstage, before she’d even sung a note. Floor was a full fledged rock star long before she joined Nightwish…she was well known to (especially European) fans already.

Btw.......SHE toured last year being highly pregnant with Lucy (the second princess)......
So Lucy knows all the Nightwish setlist and the solo setlist 🤣🤣🤣

I have some info on Floor Jansen for you here.
She is married to Hannes Van Dahl, drummer of the Swedish power metal band Sabaton. Together they have 2 daughters (Freja & Lucy)
Floor Jansen is a soprano, with a range of more than 3 octaves (C3 to F6). Re-singing style ranges from opera to screams and grunts. She usually sings in English, in addition she has also sung songs in Dutch, German, Spanish, Finnish, Latin, Italian and Swedish.
Jansen was the singer of the Dutch metal band After Forever from 1997 to early 2009. From 1999 she studied at the Rockacademie in Tilburg with classmates Jacqueline Govaert and Danny Vera, where she graduated in 2003. In addition to her activities at After Forever, she cool singing lessons. She plays guitar, piano and flute. On May 5, 2010, she presented her new band ReVamp, which was disbanded in September 2016.
From 1 October 2012 Jansen replaced Anette Olzon as singer of Nightwish during the Imaginaerum World Tour. On October 9, 2013, it was announced that she would be the group's regular new front singer. In 2015, Nightwish released the album Endless Forms Most Beautiful with Jansen as lead singer. Nightwish's second studio album with Jansen as front singer, Human. :II: Nature., was released in April 2020.

Scottish Division check in!......your soul will be taken!...this was the opener with a nervous Floor and a mixed crowd...think of this as a starter, Nw her own stuff past and present an collabortions...main thing is Floor can and will sing ANYTHING....and to top it she is no diva,look at me or whatever.....she always just comes across as a wonderful person in everything she does..
Wacken does indeed start with a 'W', but, given it's in Germany - and Ws are pronounced as Vs - it's pronounced 'Varken'

Its pronounced Vacken, its in Germany where W is pronounced as a V.
Not really the V in German sound like Vau the W sounds like Waie. 😊

@@jimharris367 Floor did a reaction to GLS at Wacken. Just listen to her pronunciation. It's definitely not "V" but it's also not the English "W". It's in fact how we pronounce it in Dutch. Since Wacken is in N-Germany, not far from NL the pronunciation is basically the same as in German.

@Columbasta OK, I watched the beginning where she says the name, and to be honest, to my ignorant Britsh ears it sounds like Vacken, or possibly Varcken, certainly not Wacken with an English W sound as you say 🤔
