These were a bit pricier than most of the other Armafs I've bought but I also think they are of higher quality than most of what Armaf has released. I do like Untold and Imperial more than elixir and iconic. Those two just feels a lot more well-made than elixir and iconic. 😁 If you and wifey could only choose 1 each, which would they be?
1.I have the club de nuit intense EDP (200 ml) and it’s so so so good - it’s a compliment magnet. 2. Then, with the same but the limited edition one, you put on… you’re out … you already have 1-2 compliments, from random strangers. 3. Just got the urban man elixir, and for someone that had for years the Dior sauvage, omg it smells 98% like it. Projection and smell are unbelievable ! 4. Just ordered the untold based on the hype… let’s see. 5. Frankly you can go wrong with club the nuit series from Armaf !! ❤

Hi! I think any of the Bleu de chanels are good for everyday use. Very mass appealing, quite versatile and easy to wear. Can't really go wrong with any of them. Dior Sauvage EDT is also mass appealing, but can be a bit too intense for some. Maybe spray a bit less of it indoors. Sauvage can definitely be used as an everyday but I do think BDC might be better for everyday kind of use. Untold and Imperiale are heavy hitters... Wore Imperiale on an Alaska cruise last week and it' was beautiful. Stay light on the trigger and let the cool ocean breeze do it's job... The scent lingers here and there and definitely a head turner... Outfit- dressdown, sportscoat, white shirt, and trousers... keeping it simple...

you mean the original Ombre Leather? If I had to choose between the two I would go with OL. Addicted to it. I think Gucci Intense oud is a fantastic scent though but yeah, if I had to choose I´d go with OL. They are very, very different though. 100% agree with untold that it smells better in the air. I couldn't stand it on myself because of how strong the notes come off. It's like a kick in the face with all the burned synthetics and ultrasweetness. It's also really stubborn to scrub off so I gave it away. However I smelled it on that person and it was a head turner, just gorgeous in the air. Could've just been my skin chemistry though that didn't match with the scent.
Thanks for sharing! I unboxed these this week and I've used that thing 2 days straight and already received compliments for it. Wicked fragrance! It pretty much behaves like the OG Baccarat Rouge in that it smells A LOT better when you get a whiff of it (i.e for those around you) than it does when you sniff yourself 😊 Performance is fantastic. Don't really need that many sprays even though I spray more of it anyway 😉 Have you tried it again after that experience or have you given up on it? I say try it again since it's such a nice one 😁
@@rottenrebels Yep. I really tried to like it on me, but I just end up trying to scrub it off even with just 1 spray. I've let it macerate and tried it on me after a month and every week for a fair amount of time, but everytime it's just the same result. I gave it to a friend and she loves it and to my surprise it smelled amazing on her. I don't think the Baccarat Rouge DNA is for me. I'm sure people will love it, but I'd prefer something that makes me feel great. I probably can just spray it on my hands, but nah. I'll just skip this one. 😄
I got the Imperale l feel l may l have gotten a bad batch because I'm not getting the smell that others influencers are getting. I get no florals notes l just get a basic generic smell. I'm letting it macerate to see if it gets better.

The fragrance that got me into collecting is Versace EROS i really like the vanilla, the apple note and the mint. It's my all time favorite, but if i had to say: What's my favorite fragrance at the moment? It would be BDC. I like the freshness, the alluring, darkness kind of scent. The problem is, I would use it often but it's really expensive xD. So i try to use it rarely.
Great vid! I got a 10ml blind buy of Desirtoxic. Tried it? Wow! Im blown away. It is soft warm spice and a bit green. Ive heard amazing shave cream reminder note but better. Ive only used electric shaver. But Id agree. It is a little sweet too. Dont get turned off by cannabis note. It is like a mint leaf rather than the stigma smell. I love cardamom and cinnamon is there too. My only negative is it isnt a beast. But Im grabbing small bottles for respray. Im thinking of layering this with Angels Share, Azzaro Most Wanted edp(soft cardamom note), Herod, or low key wood type frag. I give Desirtoxic 10 out of 10
@@rottenrebels Great question. I have over 40 colognes (half are 10ml) and tried at least 40 others. It falls into the rare unique scent. I had to think a while to find a comparison. I got Eisenberg Jose for Man and it has similar feel but minus that nice cannabis touch. Jose has a coffee note and maybe the tonka in Desirtoxic paralells. There is a subtle sweetness. Id say it is very upper class feel. This is definitely formal events and date night scent. Id say even a summer wear is good. I also think adding other scents like Herod, Angels Share, and Azzaro Most Wanted EDP would duo nicely with Desirtoxic. I dont have that Shaving Cream vibe cologne so if you know of one I am curious. This Desiretoxic may be super niche

I have BR540 Elixir and a clone of it in Night de Paris Fiori, which is very close and BEAST mode longevity, but less sweet and a little more masculine. I have heard BR540 is different from the Elixir so I'd like to see what that and untold are like. Are they that different to be worth getting untold?
Hi! If you mean BR540 extrait then there's definitely a difference. It's still baccarat rouge but there's an almondy scent to it that gives it a unique layer and it feels like there's a lot more musk in it than the EDP. Untold is really good and a great way to get that br540 vibe but a lot cheaper.. Now how close or not it is will different depending on nose and the level of previous exposure to the original 😉 I never heard of night de paris. You feel it's very close and worth buying?
@rottenrebels yes i did mean extrait....i been looking for le male elixir for 2 weeks now so I can smell it to see if i want it, and had elixir on the brain. I may have to try untold then. Fiori is very close to BR540 extrait in my own opinion. Its even how they promote it at fragrance outlet, as a br540 dupe. I have that and a travel spray of 540, and next to each other, 540 is a bit more sweet, fiori a bit mor bitter almond but i find they are very similar, and it last forever. I had it on a jacket one night and after putting it back in the closet i smelled it for almost 2 weeks.
After Effect is as close to Side Effect as it gets..Side Effect has one of the best openings I've ever smelled. I layer Mercedes Benz black (which is the best vanilla hands down) with After Effect and it is the most intoxicating nosegasm you'll ever experience..

Hi Rotten, I haven't tried any of these, however, Untold was ordered yesterday as it became available at a great price. My SOTD is Sospiro Basso which arrived just a few hours ago. My instant verdict is that its a fantastic blind buy. It has been described as either a high quality Terre d'Hermes or similar to Roja Oligarch/Isola Blue. To my nose, its much closer to the Roja. I'm smiling as one bottle popped up heavily discounted having been opened. 😁

I hope I like it despite already owning another Baccarat Rouge clone namely Al Haramain Amber Oud Rouge. I keep telling myself to save my money for more unique fragrances or for the original (as opposed to a good clone) but keep breaking the rule. I'm slowly getting better at it though. I now purchase less fragrances but at a higher quality and try to avoid redundancy. Have you any recent purchases that you could highly recommend? Perhaps something less mainstream or a new discovery?
