being covered by First Aid Kit should be seen as the greatest honour there is. every time they make a version of a song it is pure gold.... usually better then original
I do agree...and i was born in 73 ( rhyme in da house )! Their unique blend of voices and harmonizing truly stands out...not to mention the songwriting. Metalhead as i am...I will forever have a soft & starstruck spot in my heart, for those almost unbelievably talented girls 😍🤘
Their parents are my neighbours so I see them from time to time. Their little brother is also a pretty good singer but he is not known by the public. I heard him play guitarr and sing in the garden 😊
My introduction to First Aid Kit was through one of your reactions. The thing I love about their harmonies is how the harmony will be below the melody and then flip above the melody. “Postcards” is a great example of that.
I will give you one more cover First Aid Kit performed in 2021. Leonard Cohens Suzanne. You will love it. A live performance of course. Love your reactions and comments.❤️❤️❤️
This was a long time ago. They were only 24 and 22 back then, but just as talented. This is pure live, and this is before Johanna picked up a bass guitar. She plays both the bassline and the chord, and sing the second harmony, which is pretty awesome. They are only four people here, making these beautiful sounds. Niclas Lindström (from Sweden) was their drummer until 2014. Melvin Duffy (from England) on pedal steel guitar was quite new in the band here. He played with them from 2013 to 2019.
Good reaction. I am sure that you already know it, but Lucy Thomas's latest release is a cover of Unchained Melody. I think that it is her best studio performance to date. Also it is probably the most beautiful version of the song that I have heard!

I’ve said this before, but highly recommend you react to their live cover of Black Sabbath’s War Pigs :)
