Wow! Mike got emotional. This is a really good song and band. I’ve seen this before . They did a cover of Black Sabbath “ War Pigs” live and it was awesome! They rocked that one.
Klara and Johanna are the first aid kit that will fix any ailment. They are yet another of the magnificent musical gems from the Scandinavian nations with the trademark crystal clear voices of females from those countries.
You could also watch when they perform "America" before Paul Simon. He stands up and applaud and no one else does...cause it is a rule that no one can stand if the Swedish king is not. 😄
I think it's fair to make an exception in the presence of these queens, right?

Thankyou so much for giving all the love to these absolute queens, I saw them earlier this month in London on their palomino tour and I cried the night away, emmylou was played and everyone sang along and it was beautiful, I will treasure this song for my whole life, I knew who emmylou was before first aid kit and even grew up listening to her and mark knopfler so knowing a band that has come to be my favourites also grew up listening to her makes it’s so much more precious, I know you’ve reacted to ready to run but I highly suggest please giving a listen to either wild horses II or out of my head(the version sung on graham Norton) Either way, Thankyou ❤️

I guess that the only reason Emmylou keeps it somewhat together is that she is seated next to the king of Sweden. Marvellous tribute song.

Just a little clarification - "Swede" (with capital "S") is what you call a person living in Sweden, whereas "swede" is the name of a large, round yellow-fleshed vegetable (in Swedish "kålrot"). I am sure you're not proud of identifying yourself as the latter. 😏

Yes! We have left Canada for good. We will miss Autumn, but where we are is actually quite temperate most of the time. It’s beautiful, and I can feed my whole family from my garden, year round.

Good song! More of an 'Americana' feel to it than straight up Country.
I mentioned it in the live chat a few weeks ago, but for Americana/Country, I absolutely love Jason Isbell's music, and normally I only listen to metal/hard rock. Jason Isbell is a fantastic songwriter.
Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit - If We Were Vampires...Ginger's mascara might run listening to that one.

All live, if possible. But then FAK are a band that sound just as good live as they do in the studio, so it doesn't really matter.

Hope everyone know that Gram in the song is the amazing Gram Parsons who maybe is most famous for love hurts with emmylou harris, but also from the byrds sweetheart of the rodeo.
He died from an overdose when he was 26, and he sang with Emmylou😩❤️
