I'm gunna try this on my polaris ranger 570 and my can am renigade 500 hope it does the trick they're running something sad like. Good video I like your cool calm approach
Update. Disassembled the gas pump assembly yesterday and used the carb cleaner and blew it out after. The sxs is back running the way it should. We didn’t know the second filter/screen was there. Thanks from Newfoundland for your help.
WTG young buck, next time ur cleaning it take the bottom plastic tank off the pump assy, there is a sock filter there to clean too. Good to see young lads not afraid to take the initiative to fix shit💻🔧
Great video, I had the same problem with my dad's 2013 750fi, once I replaced the fuel pump with filter it ran so much better. Wish I had seen this video befor I did the replacement. The filter was just chock full of debris, not sure if it would have desolved with carb cleaner, might try it if it happens again. Live and used in very dusty and sandy areas
I tried all this today plus poking a hole In the screen. Not it won’t start at all. I just ordered a new pump and assembly. With gas the way it is now days it will varnish and stop everything up. Hopefully the new pump and assembly will fix my issue.
Mine is getting plenty of fuel and there’s no back fire, it’s just not moving fast enough and I checked the belt it’s fine. Also it smells like gas burning. Someone told me to replace the plugs, 🤷🏼♂️
If you mean the sensor on top of the fuel pump, I don’t know what the sensor is but I know what it does. It puts power to the fuel pump and tells you what level the float is at so you know how much fuel is in the tank.
Good job young man. Did same yesterday to kawasaki mule. Your video had a zen effect on me.

You are already a pro!👍
What dose the sensor on the bottom have to do with the repair. What were you doing with the sensor and why
Can you take pics of the plug that goes to the speed sensor. Mine broke off and not sure what wire goes where.

We ended up buying a new pump a year later and that solved some more issues

Fuel injector maybe. Having the same issue.
Well that’s cool
Be great if you actually said what the sensor was.....

That's not a sensor, that's the fuel pump connector. That's part of the fuel pump
